Ever since I read the tags, I noticed a similarity. Both have to do with influences from the future. It's not exactly time traveling in Orange's case, but it works its way through letters. I can guarantee that both will have you on the edge of your seat, even though Erased has a bit more exitement; But Orange brings the most tears and has you begging for the next episode to be released!
Erased and Orange both follow a similar theme of regret and hope to change the future. Both feature lovable characters who are eager to help their friends. They feature future settings where the characters are adults and past settings as children attending school.
The shows are similar because both main characters try to prevent bad things from happening. Both anime have time travel aspects and are very dramatic

similar style in art, MC's reminded me of the MC's in blue spring, amazing watch for both! honestly loved them both so much and deffinately reccomending both
What mostly captures the eye in these both anime is that art is similar and the two main couples of these anime looks somehow really similar. Also both of the main female characters where really friendly to others and where really attached to their friends. And the main male characters had some issues and something dark deep secrets inside their hearts. Both of the anime have nice dramatic feel which can make you really emotional.

The feeling between the impending tragedy of one of them is similar and as slowly developing romance between them.
If you want pain and heartache, but also fluffy feelings. This is it! I like this anime and would recommend it to my friends!
If you liked one you should like the other because both have a love triangle that gets impacted by an emotional tradgedy and they also have the same style of sadness as we see how characters deal with their friends potential death, even if orange spreads it out more than your lie in april
