The style and sense of humor used is basically the same. Most likely because they're both made by the same guy! c:

Both have superhero themes(eg:- Superhero rankings, test, lvls). Paired with superb animation. Both also have a large cast.

Both are engrossed in the whole 'superhero' concept, unique art styles and characters. Both of these anime are amazing and deserve all the respect :)

Although the protaganists are exceptionally different, both anime involve eccentric superheroes and a competitive hero ranking system. They are also both really funny!

i dont know how this hasent showed up as a recomendation , first off they are done by the same studio , studio mad house , 2nd off the main charcters are both over powered , ok gon in hxh is not super over powered and he has room to grow but often it is said for his age hes talented , the worlds are very simmillar both take place in what seems to be an alternative universe earth with people who have crazy powers and each person has a story to how they delvped or came into their own powers even if you dont get to see their storys you sence that every one is vastly different and thats a strong point in both shows , the hero socitey reminds alot of the hunter socitey , and genos and killua are simmilar charcters in personality and talent

These anime have a lot of things in common. The art style, the variety in character design, the idea of an organization that regulates fighters, the types of characters with different powers, to name a few. If you like one, you'll probably enjoy the other.

Hunter x Hunter is much longer and has more of a plot, but they both have similar tones and a similar mix of humor and seriousness.
