Obviously I play the obey me game and when I heard about the anime I was very excited, I laughed a lot and if you want to have a good time I recommend you watch it, per chapter it's 5 minutes or max 6. I also recommend playing the game but that's not all as fast as the anime, they will need patience but as I said, it's worth it anyway. baiiiiiiiiiiiiiii <3

Not going to bother with a super long review here, as ther eisn't much content to review. Obey Me is based on a "romance simulation and RPG card mobile game" about seven demon brothers who live together. Full disclosure, I haven't played the game, so I'm rating this as someone going in 'blind' to the franchise.  This specific anime series isn't a full anime. There is no plot, and each episode is more or less episodic. Even the episode format is inconsistant, as there is both a random chibi episode and a first-person episode tossed in that feel very out of place. Its mostly focused on small gags designed to show the character's personalities/character tropes (barely mentions the fact they are demons) and that's about it. They don't talk about the game's plot, and they don't talk about any sort of setting. I can understand 'ooo pretty boys', but going in blind, I'm confused about what their universe is like or why I'm supposed to like any of the characters who tend to be bratty or shitty in some way. Overall, I'd say they may be fun"cut-scenes" to watch if you're already playing the game. However, they don't do a good job at promotion, and it's terribly boring out of context. I think if they gave the show a plot, it could have been decent promo, but its a big pass for me. I want to play the gme even less now.

I wouldn't recommend this to people not already familiar with this game. I went in with no context at all and the characters are very flat and one-note, and the short episodic stories are pretty basic.  This feels like extra content you may enjoy if you already know these characters, not a standalone show.
