Noragami - Reviews

I absolutely lovee Noragami! This was the first anime I found and watched on my own all the way through. I absolutely love it! Just finished it for the second time and know I will watch it over and over in the future. Super cute storyline and loveable characters<3

My main issue with this anime was the characters. I was annoyed with 2 of the main characters throughout the majority of the anime. Hiyori kept trying to jump into situations and just made them worse for Yato when she really doesn't have any need to be apart of the Far Shore world, which she understands so little of and then makes all these bad assumptions of Yato. Also, I get that Yukine was meant to be an angsty teen, but it annoyed me that Yato had told him time and again that his "sinful" thoughts and actions affected Yato physically, yet he kept putting himself and his wants first, with Hiyori enabling him, while ignoring everything Yato has done for him. 

The issue I had with the story was mainly that the Bishamon part never got solved (maybe in the next season) and that Rabo seemed to come out of nowhere in the last 2 episodes or so. I also want to know what happened with the Regalia that Yato killed because it seems to come up a lot and I don't remember any more details on it (again, maybe in the next season).

I can say Noragami was my first anime.

    The openings are legends, and the characters are good too. I cried and laughed with characters. I loved Yukine in my first saw. Hiyori is like a big sis figure and Yato is a big bro figure to him. Also, Yato is such a troll. I recommend this series. So you can go and watch, and don't miss this anime. 

    Guys, open the way for him and give that cat a 5 yen.

Yato is a dirt poor deity of calamity always looking for ways to earn a few bucks.

Hiyori is a kind highschool girl whom likes martial arts. She saves Yato, only to find out her spirit got yanked from her body while doing a good deed. 

Yukine is the spirit of a dead boy whom can transform into a weapon. He struggles with his death and the realization he will never have a normal life again. 

Its funny, relatable (maybe just because I'm broke too?) and I almost cried. I've come to love these characters.

This anime is half canon, but still very good. Although the non-canon material makes Hiyori a bit more of a damsel than she is in the manga. The soundtrack is very good. I recommend looking it up on YouTube. 

I really enjoy this series. I shelled out from my pitifully thin wallet to buy the anime and I am slowly collecting the manga. 

I rate this gem for ages 16+. There is nothing nasty, no F-bombs or sex. 

This anime is my favourite, I love the characters and I feel like they all add something to the story. The storyline is good and interesting, and I wasn't bored at any point of watching the show. Also, there are some parts with humour in them, which add to the anime and make it more entertaining. Overall, this anime is a very easy one to binge watch and has an amazing OST ;)
