Both series are set in the countryside. Both have similar atmosphere and relaxing slice of life moment. Both also have some cute comedy that'll make you smile every episode.
Both series are about country life, with quite a few kids. They are both fairly episodic and very cute.

Both are very slow paced slice of life anime that follow a group of school girls who live in a small, tight-knit community. They're both pretty relaxing, indeed nothing happens at all for large spells in each, but if you found one enjoyable then the other will be worth a watch.

Whether they're debating the merits of sauce on curry bread, trying to determine how some women manage to have huge breasts or...

While these shows may not be set in the same location, have similar themes or have the same kind of pacing, i think the fact that both shows follow a group of young schoolgirls as they have many comedic interactions is more than enough to recommend these shows together.
Yuyushiki is a little more fast paced, and a bit more random, but if you enjoyed one of these shows comedy style then the other should hold your attention. Just be aware that Non Non Biyori is considerably slower paced than the former, even if both can be pretty relaxing for the genre. But lets face it, people who enjoy one moe comedy tend to enjoy most others to some degree, so give the other a go if you've seen one of them!
