weird sexualization of an 11 y/o and her brother, rather uncomfortable and takes away from the anime as a whole. The first frame of Shiro was literally a panty shot. Can't wait to finish this anime, SAO is worlds more enjoyable

It's not often I am obsessed with an Anime, first was Naruto but I lost interest due to fillers, Death Note was the first Anime I ever got truly obsessed with, so with that I would like to say I absolutely love No game No life.

the story is about two siblings who are Neets, together they are known as 'Blank' they play games without placing a username thus the nickname Blank, Blank has never, ever lost a game, they are undefeated, then they defeat a God of games in Chess and are given the option to go to a world where Games are law, with some events, they become king & Queen, and aim to dominate the world and defeat God in a final game.

The thing that makes me truly love this anime is that Blank has never been defeated, and so far, they have beaten every opponent, even if they are cheating, I love that! I cannot rant enough about how much I dislike a protagonist defeating this almighty villain with the common 'That's impossible' spoken, I truly appreciate that detail, Blank has never lost, Blank will never lose, but the struggles, oh my lord, It's a very nice anime, the plans, schemes, the way they defeat their opponents, even if they are cheating, I'd say it's almost as cleverly planned as Death Note.

The characters are beautifully animated, it has a slight Summer wars feel to it, I do adore the animation style, The Siblings are serious, but hilarious, it's got some minor perversion, but I'm ok with it in this Anime, I don't know why but it's beautiful! Especially since the Brother is an 18 year old virging, I could relate to him at that time, Video games, Girls, Nudity it's what every teenage boy (Striaght male, Gay Female) possibly dreams of.

I haven't been so excited for an anime like this since I discovered Death Note which was almost 5 years ago.

I would highly recommend this anime to anyone who has enjoyed the following - 

Sword art online.
Summer Wars.
Death Note (No game No life is not a dark anime, but the planning and thought may remind some people of Death Note)
There are a few anime this reminds me of but their names escape me.

I'm sorry if this review isn't amazing, but this Anime really has me hyped and I am truly obsessed with it, I cannot wait for the next episode! Just thinking back on previous episodes get me excited!

The amount of fan service put me off sooo bad. The characters were okay but I didn't care enough for them and the sibiling relationship screamed Alabama. The concept and idea of the world was really cool,so points for that. 

Thank you collective anime fandom!,No Game No Life exists as one of the results of "The World God Only Knows" UTTER FAILURE to save anime.

Anime fandom:we don't want sincere well written stories we want delusion and dogma to define anime.

Now moe anime have become more gary stu like more fanservice which pretty much makes them hentai.

No game No life was very inspired from the TWGOK,and the reason why I brought this up.

Sora and shiro are what drives this show,and a "ripoff" of Keima's coolness.except where keima was going toe to toe wtih the "REAL" world and was an actual non Gary stu character,the two of them are an otaku and fujioshi fantasy.

This series makes you think they are smart but when you see their tatics they use more deus ex than actual intelligence.

Like that chess game ,the chess pieces have shonen power ups.

And why was the girl otaku able to PHYSICALLY MOVE and keep up with the beast girl?Even in that game,it still doesn't explain her body movements.


And come on the show has girls FULLY NUDE in some points.What happened to fanservice being just a tease?

And why nobody was smart enough to give a PHYSICAL SPORT CHALLENGE to them?They would lose easliy.

Its like the person who made this was taking revenge on TWGOK for showing the "sting" of reality, and making these two overcompensate.

And it looks like it has mainstream acceptance.
