Personally I love Nisekoi, it has quite an original story despite having a few simularities to Toradora but I just love the Characters! They are all quite different to one another.

Characters

I thought the character development was quite good, however some characters had better development than others but obviously that comes down to the significance of that character. I good thing is they all have unique personality. Chitoge is portrayed as a 'tough' girl and has a lot of hatred towards Raku (one of the main characters) however eventually she starts to have feelings for him and yet treats him the same and they do have some funny moments. Raku is kinda of a average guy theres not to much interesting things to say about him but I do have to say that he can be funny at times and thoughtful! As for the other characters I don't want to bore you with their personalities but lets just say they're all unique in their own way!

7/10

Sound

I haven't paid too much attention to the music and sound (and I did watch this like a month ago) so I can't really have a opinion, but I can say the sound and music is not horrifyingly bad nor is it amazing.

6/10

Animation

I thought the animation was the good, I didn't mind the style they used either. Some animes use quite an...odd style of animation and it can make the anime a bit off-putting but honestly this anime didn't have any bad animation and does look appealing! (plus Chitoge's smile is just so awesome and Kawaii! xD) Despite this it wasn't overly amazing but its just about right.

5/10

Story

I adore the story! It does kind of have the same feel as Toradora and both animes do have kind of the same storyline. From what I remember Raku has a necklace with a keyhole on it. He said that a girl gave it to him 10 years ago however he doesn't remember the appearance nor the name of the girl. However three girls (Chitoge, Onodera and Tachibana) all have keys and apparently knew Raku when they were younger and so he has to find out who was the girl Raku fell in love with all those years ago. There is a season 2 coming so obviously its not jut a 12 episode anime which is resolved quickly it is quite slow paced which I personally like espicially with the story it has.

8/10

Overall this anime is quite funny and its story just sucked me in, there is no annoying animation and the vioces are fine. I would recommend this anime! Can't wait for season 2!

Nisekoi Review

So I started this anime with low expectations, a few friends said it was nothing special, and to be honest my friends are better at reviewing animes than me. At first I nearly didn't give the show a chance but I'm glad I did!

Also a warning ahead of time I haven't finished this anime but I am on the last episode, but wanted to write this sooner rather than later, I also feel I have already seen enough to rate it now!

Story 8/10

The story revolves around a fifteen year old student who's only skill is cooking, (RIN?!?!?) his name is Raku, he constantly wheres a pendant which when he was younger was given to him by his first love.

At highschool his supiscions begin aganist a girl who is similar to the one in his memory!

I will stop here to avoid spoilers!

Animation

The animation is near flawless and has a similar art style to another anime that I can't put my finger on!

Sound

The sound is nothing special, but its not terrible so I will leave it at 5/10!

This was a short review but overall I give Nisekoi an 8/10!

I want to begin the review by saying that if you are one who has just entered the broad world of anime, Nisekoi may seem quite cute and heart-touching to you. But if you are an otaku who has experienced many romantic animes before, there is no great reason to watch Nisekoi.

The story really has nothing special, absolutely nothing! A total cliched story where the hero is confused about whom to choose and three girls fighting over him. I really liked the starting, rather loved it, when they said Raku and Chitoge, being the members of two opposing groups, have to act as a couple to save the world from a terrible fight. The story would have taken many interesting turns from here, there would have been some action, some adventure. But Nisekoi turns out to that age-old story. The locket-thing was good though, but it was the one and only thing that keeps some interest in the minds of the viewers. Otherwise we would have been bored to death!

The animation is interesting and funny. I really liked some of the humorous expressions on Chitoge's face.

The sound is appreciable too, but again nothing to be remembered.

The characters are also cliched. As I like tsundere girls ( excuse me! ) I liked Chitoge. But when she realised that she loved Raku, she became like any other character.

To sum up, Nisekoi may be cute, but is not worth watching.

I still remember how the manga was stalled just for the milking, something that could so easily be resolved in 12 episodes goes on to 20 and gets a second season! Well, it seems people like stalling so w/e.

I just watched this for Chitoge Kirisaki, she's beautiful and cute, even more so animated.

Those aren't the only reasons I like the character Chitoge, but I'll just leave it at that.

I came across Nisekoi on this website actually.  I was looking some nice RomCom School-Life anime and came across this.  I read the synopsis and thought it was pretty interesting.  I then went to watch it the same day and just recently finished it.

Story

Ten years ago Raku Ichijou made a promise with a girl that the next time they reunite they'd get married to each other and to commemorate their promise Raku received a locket and the girl had the key to said locket.  Fast forward to Raku's to the current story, Raku is the beloved son of a yakuza boss and just entered high school.  Also entering high school is Chitoge Kirisaki.  Immediately they start off on the wrong foot by Kirisaki slamming into Ichijou thus losing his locket.  However, Kirisaki's father is the boss of a gang that just moved in on Ichijou's father's turf.  In order to stop a war Raku and Chitoge must fake being head-over-heels lovey dovey with each other when deep down they strongly dislike the other.  However, Raku has an extreme crush on classmate Kosaki Onodera, who also has a secret crush on Raku.  Basic RomCom stuff with a love triangle put in place.  I don't wanna get into spoilers but it gets way more complicated than that.  There were the obvious cliches and I ended up guessing most of the stuff that was going to happen.  Pacing of the story was also pretty good.  At first, it was silly and funny.  When it got serious a little more than half-way throuh the story picked up significantly.  I was kept wanting to watch more and more after said major plot point.

Animation

Again there was basics you'd find in similar anime: bright colors, big eyes, etc.  It was a bit more cartoony, like Looney Tunes, when necessary like certain runnings scenes or spit takes.  There's also the some really nice touches.  For much of the beginning they had a black and white silent movie feel to open up the show.  Later on they had a black and white pencil-style.  It employed many different styles that were really appealing to me

Sound

Nothing overly spectacular in this category.  I did like how characters can go from 0-100 in their tones real quick.  One minute they can be having a regular conversation but then start shouting at the top of their lungs.  Music also did it's job in setting the mood

Characters

You get your basic cast of characters you'd find in a RomCom.  You get your male lead that's somehow surprisingly domestic as Raku can cook.  You get your good looking tsundere, Chitoge Kirisaki.  There's the really kind-hearted girl that just cannot express her love, Kosaki Onodera.  There's even the somewhat expressionless friend of said kind-hearted girl, Ruri Miyamoto.  They're all pretty endearing though.  I even would call Onodera as "Waifu Material".  So kawaii ^W^.  Anyways... there are even more characters that I wouldn't want to spoil.

Overall

Although it's somewhat formulaic it was really enjoyable, which is what it's all about.  "Did you enjoy watching the show?"  Although the calcuation come up to like 8.25, I gave it a 9 cause I did enjoy it.
