Kenichi is just an ordinary boy until he met Hattori who is a ninja. Because of his helpful nature, Hattori along with his brother Shinzo and his ninja-dog Shishimaru stayed in Kenichi's house and inevitably changes Kenichi's daily life with the infusion of the ninja background he comes from.
A famous classic anime, Ninja Hattori is so famous that many thinks it to be a cartoon. Anyways, Ninja Hattori is a ninja cartoon about the Iga ninja Hattori who comes to protect Kenichi, a failure from all aspects - from love life to studies. Adding to his problem is Amara, the Koga ninja. If you think that this anime is rich with the stories, traditions, cultures and actions of ninja, you are wrong. Ninja Hattori gives much stress on Kenichi's problems rather than presenting you with interesting information about the ninjas. Have you seen Doraemon? Then no need to watch this. The stroy's basically the same, just replace gadgets with ninja techniques. Doraemon atleast shows the lifestyle of the future world, though not very frequently. But Ninja Hattori dosen't even shows the protagonists parents or village. Yes you can relate with one or the other problems of Kenichi and would love to watch Shinzo and Shishimanu, but that's it! But there's nothing else special. The characters are not much lovable. Hattori's character is so strong, even weaker than Amara. Sound is okay and so is the animation. To sum up, Ninja Hattori is good, but olnly for kids who watch animes. You can WATCH it but when it comes to enjoying, you can't....
