Night Wizard and 11eyes have a number of similarities that I think make for a good recommendation. At their very basic, both series involve students who are forced to fight against supernatural enemies at random times. Along the way they forge friendships that allow them to overcome their difficulties. If you liked one, I would check out the other.

When I first started watching 11eyes, I was immediately reminded of Night Wizard. The two premises and characters are really alike.  If you like stories with teenagers getting thrown into situations where they discover they have some hidden power, and forced to fight for reasons they don't know, give either of these a try.

Zaig Zaig says...

Let’s start at the very beginning--and I mean, the VERY beginning, as in the openings. If I had more proof, I would annoyingly tell everyone besides just my friends that 11 Eyes “stole” Night Wizard’s opening animation. Moving on, both of these anime are similar in the following exactly: are about some high school students who have been fighting since who knows when AND about some high school students who are brand new to fighting with powers; the main character changes his or her eye color from time to time. Also, whenever enemies appear, a red moon suddenly manifests itself into a scarlet sky, letting all characters aware of a battle with machinated demons from another world will subsequently follow. If you appealed to either 11 Eyes or Night Wizard, check out its crimson shadow.

Caraniel Caraniel says...

Both Tsubasa Chronicle and Night Wizard follow the 'quest' format. In Night Wizard the quest is to collect the Jewels of Virtue for Elis, and in Tsubasa Chronicle the quest is to collect memory feathers for Sakura. The two series have a group of uniquely-skilled people who must travel together to different locations, solve problems, or fight battles to obtain the desired items.

Tsubasa has the stronger plot (being a CLAMP series) and a brilliant soundtrack. Night Wizard is weaker as it is a game conversion and a shorter series, but it is entertaining. Both series complement each other well.

iKaity iKaity says...

In both of these animes, they are both on a quest to look for something. In Tsubasa, they are looking for the lost feathers (memories) of Sakura. In Night Wizard they are looking for the jewels of virtue, which they believe can unlock the gate to Rikai (if destroyed, they believe they can save the world). They are very good animes with plot twists and if you liked one you should like the other. :)

Both Night Wizard and Rental Magica deal with magic. The main characters, Elis from Night Wizard and Itsuki from Rental Magica, struggle to understand their purpose and their power.

Taking the same idea of an organisation fighting against supernatural creatures, both Night Wizard and Rental Magica are incrediby easy to watch. While the situation may be different between the two series, there are definately similarities between the series that make it easy to watch one if you've seen the other.

At one point I thought that if I closed my eyes, I could exchange the characters from Night Wizard to InuYasha  and it wouldn't make a difference; not because they look the same, but because they essentially have the same function. In both there's a girl who has special powers and can feel the parts of the jewel she needs to obtain, a powerful guy who protects the girl, several sidekicks, and a specific weapon for each character. Really, if you liked one, there's no reason you wouldn't like the other.

Thoug at first glance they appear unquarellated, more detailed investigation will yield a number of similarities. In each series, the protagonist is a teenager, with an obsessive desire to protect his friends.

Both involve four man sqads, and extraordinary abilities.

The one difference is probably in this; Naruto is much slower paced, and has far more episodes.

Supernatural save-the-world anime. You might think that there maybe SOMETHING original well, don't be shocked cuz there's nothing, from character design up to plot. I'm starting to lose faith in japanese animation as I watch multiply anime showing almost the same in a bit diffrent form (I'm not saying that I don't have ANY fun watching it but still ...). Well, if you by any chance liked one you should be able to enojoy the other.

Saito Hiraga, a normal Japanese boy who was abruptly teleported from his own world?! Can both Louise and Saito come to terms with their new and complicated "relationship" and (more importantly) help Saito find a way home?

Both Night Wizard an Zero no Tsukaima are a good mixture of action and comedy. There are also some romance part but there isn't anything deep. If by any chance you liked one of them then you will surely like the other.

Well first of all Hiiragi and Ninomiya look very similar, and are ordered around/shouted at by the leader of the student council.Night W. is a bit more battle-oriented than Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun but thats only aparent if we think about quality.(and not quanity)The two animes might be pretty distant in terms of story(small 10 man story vs. saving the world) but if we look at the character profiles, we can always find pairs with the same personality in the two series.
