Naruto - Reviews

I have no plan to make enemies with this review, as I also have a strong nostalgia for this series. I'll start with the good things: characters, characters, world building and characters. The personalities and the ways they develop them in Naruto are a pioneer for the industry. The writers were very skillful at creating interesting and uniquely designed characters, while also giving them ninja abilities that match their aesthetic and personality. Along with this, they also built a unique fantasy universe that is easy to imagine yourself living in. The laws and environment in this world of superhero-esque ninjas is as deep as it is fictional; you can really feel the love and effort put into creating it. 

As I look back on Naruto, I've come to realize how problematic its pacing and sound design are. Even as I attempt to forgive the animators for the poorly written and useless filler episodes, the narrative-driven episodes occasionally leave me feeling unsatisfied as well. Between the fluff of Naruto or other characters restating the same things they've said 20 times before, perhaps one important thing will happen. Flashbacks are an important tool in modern media, but they are very lazily used in Naruto to fill airtime. More often than not, the string of episodes at the end of each arch are the truly engaging and respectable parts of the show. It can simply be exhausting to get there at times. On top of this, the OST is high quality yet extremely limited. The beginning of most episodes start with the same exact audio clip with no remixing whatsoever. Action sequences only use two different songs, one for normal fights and one for serious fights. Again, with no remixing whatsoever. One song for enemies being bad, one song for comedic relief moments. I can't call this anything other than what it is; lazy and inexcusable. For a number of reasons, it is a far stretch to say that this is the best anime of all time. Probably not even top 20 for me. I will always enjoy the fight scenes and my memories as a child admiring Kakashi in the dub on Cartoon Network, but I can't completely forgive the show for taking away so much time from my life that I'll never get back.

Ahhh Naruto ^_^ 

For me Naruto is an amazing anime, and everybody should at least give it a try! 

The story line really is amazing and heart lifting. Naruto himself takes awhile getting used to and is quite annoying, but he grows on you, and by naruto shippuden I can say you will love him! 

There is so many amazing charaters in Naruto, many of them are so easy to watch and admire. The music in Naruto fills me with warmth it really does make the show a great experience to watch and adds to the over-all feeling you get when watching. 

Anywho, if you havnt already seen.. you really really should!

Used to be my favorite but going back and rewatching some of it has made me not like it was much... A good story and nice sense of humor but the animation pulls it down drastically... 

The Tale Of Naruto Uzimaki. Basically one of the best Series I have watched!! Ok so, Naruto is a 12-13 year old who dreams to be a Future Hokage (basically that person who runs protects the village). However due to an event in the past, Everyone one in the village hates him. So He became a nuisance to the village in many ways. The Only People people who looked out for him where Shikmaru, Chojji plus His Sensei: Iruka. Naruto Is part of the 忍者学校 (Ninja gakkō) Which literally means: Ninja School. There he Learns How to use Ninjutsu (Not the fighting technique) and throw Kunai & Ninja Stars. SO BASICALLY thats The First Episode Without me telling Spoilers. 

PS- Before you start, Naruto loves ramen like is crazy for it.
