With the bright colors, crazy narration, absurd humor and fun action, it's highly likely that these series would be best friends.
Both of these go over the top with bright sparkling animation. Nanbaka is exceptionally heavy with the love of colors.
If you watched Nanbaka and wanted or would like to see something with less intense but still present color palooza then give Double Decker! Doug & Kirill a watch.
While the story’s aren’t very relatable both do center on comedy and teamwork.
The main difference between the M.C.s are the side of the law they find themselves on. Most of the main characters in Double Decker! Doug & Kirill are law enforcers bent on bringing down a drug crime syndicate while Nanbaka’s M.C. are criminals bent on escaping. Or at least that’s how they start out.
If you’d like to see the other side of the law then give the other a watch.

Gokudo and Nanbaka have similar styles of slapstick silly humo. Both shows have lead characters being punished. There is a hefty degree of gender based wit and grayness.

These animes are very similar in their overall vibe. Both start out with crazy story lines and wacky characters. After a few episodes the characters become very relatable and you get a feel for their main goals. The main characters both say they do their "jobs" for fun, but actually have other motivations. The whole world seems to go against them, but they just move on with their carefree attitude. Both animes seem random and crazy on the surface but have deeper meanings within the storyline.
