When I think of these two anime just one element comes to mind: the males are sent to a new world with tons of females. However, in Girls Bravo there are other male characters in contrast to Nagasarete Airantou where the guy is stranded on an island and is the only one of his gender.

ThunRkid92 ThunRkid92 says...

Both Nagasarete Airantou and Girls Bravo  are harem anime, in that the male lead is surrounded by females. Only these males have just one girl they are interested in. Also, in both anime, the female that the male has his eye on is totally oblivious to his feelings.

kamkaw kamkaw says...

Both Anime have very similiar climat and both gave us a look into an extraordinary world with no men or shortage of men :) Also an main romantic plot is in those Anime leaded into the same direction...

While watching this, I couldn't help but feel some sort of similiraity with an anime i watched. Seeing the completely naive girl, a girl who lusts another girl with big breasts, the constant "Nya" I keep hearing, and a cute story line of wanting to be together.. It's like an almost twin of Airantou.

Rfsancho Rfsancho says...

A character thrown into a different world where they adapt, grow as a person, and fall in love. A cast of friends that are just eager to create problems and situations that are hectic and troublesome. And a comedy aspect that is not really here nor there.

They are both essentially really lazily executed and not particularily mindful of their own story and concentrate more on characters having fun.

My Bride is a Mermaid

Now, with a new school year around the corner, Nagasumi must find a way to deal with his new bride, keep her true nature a secret, and most importantly, escape inevitable death at the hands of San's over-protective father’s gang!

Bote anime aired at the same time, bote are about a boy and girl, in Seto No Hanayome the boy needs to marry the girl in Nagasarete Airantou the boy needs to live with the girl, bote are surely fantasy and comedy and bote have alike characters.

Very similar slapstick humor in a high-paced/chaotic narrative. Both follow a male teenager trying to manage a group of rambunctious young women of a vastly different background from his (mermaids/amazons) who constantly get him into sticky situations, with some romance thrown into the mix as well.

In these two anime, a male protagonist is forced into a wild environment he is not used to being in, in addition to having the majority of his neighbors female. Nagasarete Airantou and Mahoraba’s main focus is comedy, but there is still a little romance to be found in each episode. If you enjoyed the comedy and slight romance in the one you’ve seen, it’s time for you to watch the other.

Very similar vibes, artstyle, and practically copypasted characters. Both are about a guy forced to cohabitate with a bunch of girls with oddball personalities.

Though Nagasarete Airantou takes place in the present time and Vandread takes place in the future, both series have a similar feel. In both, the genders struggle to live together and understand each other's feelings. The comic relief in both is also quite similar because of the awkwardness of the whole gender issue.

Nagasarete Airantou is a cute harem show. If you're looking for more good harem, maybe something more believable, Love Hina is always a safe bet.

Lucky Star

Lucky Star

In present day Japan, the life of a school girl is never dull. The easily-bored Konata never finds time to study because of her otaku habits, which frustrates hard-working Kagami to no end. On the other hand, laid-back Tsukasa always manages to go with the flow, while Miyuki is concerned with keeping her status as resident know-it-all. Join these four girls as they muse and meander their way through everyday events such as eating chocolate cones, doing homework, gaming, and trips to the beach galore.

Lucky Star as well as Nagasarete Airantou are both anime, which doesn't follow a "story". They only purpose of these anime is FUN!! They both are some amazingly funny anime, often some unreal jokes, but there's no other way than to laugh. If you like "easy" anime, which you can watch without thinking too much about a complicated story, Lucky Star and Nagasarete Airantou are the right choice.

Animes are really similar. Guy comes along to strange world where are beautifull girls. Finds one, who's her partner and the other girls try to steal him from her. You can find ecchi, harem and little romance in both

Nagasarete Airantou is similar to ZnT, ZnT FnK and ZnT PnR - all 3 series of ZnT and I think if you like ZnT then you'll also like Nagasarete and if you like Nagasarete, you'll like ZnT.

There are many similarities between the two series like how the main character does not like the situation that they are in and try to escape. Also, all the girls try to get the main characters attention. In my opinion if you like one you are probably going to like the other.

Both are comedies centered around an isolated community made up of (mostly) teenage girls who have never seen a man before and their daily antics while trying to get in contact with one (Kunoichi Tsubaki) or win the affection of one (Nagasarete Airanto).
