Story:

Basically the story of this anime is about a book call Shinra Banshou but truth be told it's not really a book. this book is said to hold powers that can make someone a King of nabari adn can change the world as we know it. A boy named Miharu  now hold that book of wisdom inside of him, many people are out to get the information and or kill him.

During my experience of the anime i thought the begining was VERY boring, but it is to be expected for every animie that is slow, and rises near the later ends of the anime. I thought it was so slow that i watched 4 episodes and then came back to it now, which is more than 5 months later. Cuz compared to naruto and Brave 10 which are botha bout ninja's the beginning was not intreging. It was not until episode 7ish , near the middle that the story has started to pick up .  It made me want to watch more of it , because the story begame deeper and deeper. As Miharu starts to deepen his bonds with his freinds and yoite the story then starts to unraval itself. Also in the anime there is not as much humor used throughout since it has some seriousness in it. The humor in the begining was okay , and got a little better in the middle half, but towards the climax of the story line not much was used.

In the end the story was slow but it picked up , it was a nice anime to watch when there is no others because it eventually becomes something worth watching but not if your looking for comedy in it was well. Therefore the story is 7.1

Animation:
The animation is okay, the backgrounds though were not well done, I have seen better , but in the end i lost intrest in it.

Sound:
The sound is bad in this anime; althought im talking about the background music , the theme songs etc.
The voices etc. used thoroughout the anime and in the characters were well done which fit the image of the anime.

Characters:

The characters designs i liked , it was normal and different than normal animes about ninjas. The characters personalities and traits etc. was very good, it did not make me hate or think any one was annoying except the bad guys of course. This was well done in the anime.

In the end you decide what to do , watch or not watch it, for me it took a long time but the anime overal was a good one.

Nabari no Ou is one of my favorite animes and it always will be. The characters are great, the story had a lot of turns and suprises, and the animation was the best i've seen from an anime made in 2008. I never get tired of watching it and almost all of the episodes has some sort of suspense coming from it.

Story- The story of Nabari no Ou is fairl simple but has its twists and turns.(Spoiler alert)Some of the twists and turns includes someone being immortal or finding out that Miharu isn't related to Thobari.(I really wanted that to be true)One great flaw that the story has though is that it reminds me of Naruto, I mean a lot. Theirs something inside Miharu and Naruto and it isn't unleashed/unlocked until they reach their true potential.(Spoiler Alert again)Also the fact that Raikou killed his entire village just as Itachi and their younger sibling is trying to get revenge. Though these similarities could get annoying but is the only problem.

Animation- The animation in Nabari no Ou is really good considering the year it came out. The fight scenes looks really good and it always seems to excite me when something happens. Not much I can say about the animation but that it look great I guess haha.

Sound- The sound is kinda annoying. The half mark of the anime, the same soundtrack when something suspenseful happens, it just gets old. I could say that the only music in this anime that is worth listening to is the opening because it is catchy which is the reason why I give this a score of 6 instead of a 3 or 4.

Characters- The characters are well... interseting haha. Well, I guess i'll just say that they are likeable. Miharu and Yoite could get annoying with them liking each other and all but once you get deep into the anime, this will become somewhat irrelevant. Other than that, Miharu is very unemotional and is hard to attach on to because it takes time. He also seems to not do anything to help out and is kinda useless. Yoite, another important main character, is my favoite character. Though he also has almost no emotions, I could see that he was going to be my favorite when he first appeared. His backround is very interesting and the most eventful. Other than these two characters the rest has their flaws but are good to. Also they are drawn very skinny and resembles characters from Zombie Loan, if anyone has ever seen that.. yeah?.. no?.. okay..

Again, though this anime has some flaws, it is one of my favorites and if you see through those flaws like I do then it could be one of your favorites too.

Thanks for reading my review ^^

Nobari no Ou was good. The story was well done. One could see similarities between this show and others, but that goes for many a series. Nabari no Ou opens up hot, then cools down, warms , and chills. It has a good combination of human drama and folklore, with little dashings of action. The animation is both gritty and light. I could watch this again.

This was a good anime. The characters were believable, the voice acting was good, and it wasn't too predictable. The style wasn't distorted too much, with the exception of Miharu having legs that were half the size of his already skinny arms at times. The soundtrack was really good, and I liked the voices. It diverges from the manga, but you should be accustomed to that if you're an anime fan.

The ending was sad, but I liked how it was different, and not 'we killed the bad guys, everyone gets what they want and lives happily ever after the end.' And it was close-ended, even without that. So I'd definately recommend it to pretty much anyone, I guess. I certainly liked it. And the art was good as well.

MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS about the reviews!!! I really wish people would write SPOILER on their review if they're going to tell the ending!!!! 😤 I usually check out the reviews before or even during an anime and on this one I definitely found out the ending or at least about what happens to one of the main characters before I watched that part. If a review says Spoiler and I'm still in the middle of an anime I will skip it so I don't find out too much.

Now about the actual anime.

This may have a bit of a SPOILER... (see what I did there) 😏

I really liked this anime and most of the characters in it. It was kind of all over the place at times and most of the characters I needed more background info BUT I loved the relationship between 2 of the main characters, Miharu and Yoite. At first they were enemies but became like kindred souls bc they were both very lonely and afraid to love or be loved - I'm not saying that this is a BL/romantic type of love but an almost soulmate type of friendship where they seem to understand each other I would say. All in all I enjoyed the anime and the relationships especially between those two.
