Both have superhero themes(eg:- Superhero rankings, test, lvls). Paired with superb animation. Both also have a large cast.
Both are engrossed in the whole 'superhero' concept, unique art styles and characters. Both of these anime are amazing and deserve all the respect :)
Although the protaganists are exceptionally different, both anime involve eccentric superheroes and a competitive hero ranking system. They are also both really funny!
Naruto Uzumaki is a young ninja who bears a great power hidden inside him, a power that has isolated him from the rest of his village. Both MC's are weak, had a rough past and didn't had support of parents. Both MC's want to be strong and help othersBoth have a little comedy, lots of action, scenes that should touch viewers emotionally
Shounen action shows with colourful casts of varying personalities and superpowers who fight each other, with an underdog protagonist who dreams big. Both have a lot of focus on the main character and his rival.
Deku and Naruto are very similiar main characters - they're seemingly weak and untalented, but are also strong-hearted and filled with determination towards their dreams; to become strong like their hero (Deku) and to become the greatest Hokage (Naruto). Their determination and hardwork eventually lead them down a path that makes them stronger, and both shows follow the tale of how that happens. The school exams in MHA are reminicent of Naruto's Chuunin exams, and Deku and Bakugo's rivalry is much like that of Naruto and Sasuke's. I'm sure fans of one will be interested in the other.
Shoyo Hinata isn't a large guy, but he's got huge ambitions. Haikyuu and My Hero Academia are shounen that feature a protagonist with big dreams and a friend who seems to be always salty. They both have great character development, progression, and similar themes. Lots of good humor and entertaining character interactions in both.
well firstly ALL THE CHARACTERS IN BOTH ANIMES ARE SO ADORABLE AND LOVEABLE LIKE???? H O W T O H A T E ?? it's physically impossible, they're all so precious and you just wanna protecc the smol children
the settings and genres may be different but so many situations that happen in haikyuu, you'd think like "wow this is so BNHA of them LOL" and vice versa. the protagonists are so alike- midoriya and hinata are just smol beans who are underestimated but they just wanna make it far and tHEY DO. N YOU JUST WANNA CHEER THEM ON.
idk pls just watch. they're both absolute materpieces
If you like characters and the way they connect, Haikyuu is one of my most recomended. A lot of people like My Hero Academia for the characters and shipping them too. Haikyuu is perfect for that. Even though ther's much different because of the sports anime genre vs the sci-fi fantasy genre, it gives you sort of the same feel overall. Also, if you're a sucker for underdog characters climbing the ranks, there's not a lot better you can get than these two animes.
