They are both hero anime's, both anime's have amazing super powers and you are drawn in by the characters. MHA and OPM both have amazing animations and fight seems are drawn perfectly. You will love OMP as comic relief after watching the always at the edge of your seat that is MHA.

My Hero Academia follows the same vein of throwing as many super-powered characters against each other as possible, but unlike OPM you get to experience Deku's rise to being a superhero. He doesn't have a three minute prolouge in the first episode of the first season, he has the entire season, and this entire season, and he still isn't there yet. If you enjoy intense super-powered fight scenes then this anime is for you.

Both shows have a hero killer While my hero seems to have a reason behind theirs, one punch seems like they are evil to be evil.
The hero vibe is just 🔥🔥🔥 in both animes. :) One punch man is more humor and laughs, while hero academia is a bit more serious. Both are really hype :)

The local bullies know this, and make it a habit to hit him up for cash, but all that changes when the debonair Kaname Sengoku sends them packing. Sengoku's not the neighborhood watch, though. He's a professional...

Though genres are quite different both anime has a main character that's weak at the start, but then he meets that someone special who keeps helping MC on his way. Nice character development, action, very engaging story. Great animation and soundtracks.
