My Clueless First Friend is another of those comfort shows. It concerns a Goth-looking girl named Akane Nishimura who is often the target of bullying by her classmates and is given the nickname "Grim Reaper." All this would change when Taiyo Takada, a new student moves to her school and misinterprets Nishimura as actually having supernatural powers. From there begins their cute friendship.   The show handles the topic of bullying pretty well. At first, it is almost hard to watch with how the kids incessantly bully Nishimura which can be hitting too close to some who were targets of bullying. To make matters worse, Nishimura had since internalized the mistreatment and thinks that she is bad news and is actually taken aback when Takada shows interest in wanting to be her friend even trying to turn him away for his "own sake" not wanting him to become intertwined with the mean rumors.   But it is through her friendship with Takada that Nishimura gradually breaks out of her shell to where she wants to help Takada in return for all the times that he refused to let her be alone.   Takada and Nishimura are great leading characters with how much they bounce off each other. It comes with a few humorous moments where Takada compliments Nishimura leading to her blushing deeply but the boy does not realize what he is saying. He's likely going to be a rizz god when he gets older and I am all for that. They are just so cute together with even Takada realizing that being with Nishimura makes him happy, but he has yet to understand why. While he does idolize her as the Grim Reaper, this does lead to him breaking down in remorse when he realized that Nishimura's mother had passed and so by calling Nishimura by that nickname, it seemed he was insulting her. But thankfully the misunderstanding gets cleared up.   Other characters like Daichi are also fun. The animation is also pretty good albeit the characters' limbs are almost so thin they could be used as toothpicks.

So this anime has come to a close now huh (ㅠ﹏ㅠ), this one was such a wholesome one!!, this anime was really one of the comefort shows of the season for me, ima say this season had most of the comfort shows ngl, and this is one of them (*´▽`*), Takada-kun is so smooth tbh, he has the ultimate rizz, everything against him he would totally take iit on the positive side!! Story In this anime the main characters are child protagonists, they are in fifth grade and in thier grade the is a girl name Akane Nishimura who is consisderd a grim reaper, so nobody talks to her, scared that she would pass on her curse to them and then there is the transfer student who is Taiyo Takada, who is an extroverted guy, and is the smoothest kid u'll see out there, everyone told him not to get close to Nishimura because she has grim reaper powers but Takada is amazed at it that here is someone in this class who has magic powers and wants to have her curse and since that day, Takada tries to get close to Nishimura, Nishimura tries to tell him that no one would want to be friends with him if she gets close to her but he doesnt listen and says that he wants to be strong like her, this is a cute wholesome story ♡⸜(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⸝♡, Takada is a bright kid and it's definently a good one!!, this doesnt have much going on but the plots draw u in and it isnt boring either, thier isnt much to the plot but the characters draw you in and that's mostly the reason that I even continued on watching this anime, cause everyone in this anime is so damn bright and I love it!! Animation The animation is quite good, the animation of the anime is really cute and mathes the vibe of the anime!! Sound Opening was good!!  Characters So lets talk about the characters, from the main protagonist, Taiyo Takada, he is an extroverted, happy going, postive minded kid, he is too damn innocent, he doent get's anything thats related to love, he is always confused when he hears a convoseration like that ( • ̀ω•́ )✧, he always has his back for Nishimura, he alwyas helps him and comes saves the day, but he sint always too dumb, he also consols nishimura, when he heard that Nishimura's mom had died, he felt bad for talking about Nishimura has grim reaper powers, he knows how to read the room, I love him he is such straightforward kid, and in the last three episodes, he became so bold, he has his heart for Nishimra honestly!!, Next is Nishimura, she was a dull kid in the begining and well we can say that, everyone would say she had grim reaper powers and no one would get close to her and as to why she didnt had friends before, i have got to say I am really glad they didnt make bullying the main focus of this anime, anyway, but as the episodes gradually move on she starts to become happy she has a very supportive dad, she always tires to compliment Takada but Takada would always compliment her back making her more flusterd lol, So now Daichi Hino, the tank top lover, he loves nothing but Tank tops, he is the sporty type of kid and is also dumb one just like Takada, he also gets confused when the topic of love comes up, he is a very supportive friend, Now Umi Adachi, ahh she is such kind hearted kid, she shared her first love with Nishimura, and they became very close friends, Adachi doesnt care about what others say about her and keep heading on the path!! Now Kasahara, in the begning she was I thought to be a bully but she cleaarly had a redemption arc she distanced herslef from bullies who were her friend and thought to herself that she was lame like that, I really like that part of the anime tho she never lost her passion for going for Takada lol!!

I like the anime!!! This anime is all about a girl named Nishimura Akane who had no friends and is the easiest target of bullying until a cheerful boy named Takada Taiyou comes and wants to be friends with her! I like the characters and my favorite character is Akane is it she so cute!!!!
