The similarities between Zanbot 3 and Daitarn 3 are pretty obvious:

  • extraterrestial invaders
  • giant transforming robot fighting
  • both series end in 3!

All kidding aside, both series are typical examples of the late 70s mecha shows. If you enjoyed one of them, you are more than likely to enjoy the other.

Old mecha series with many similarities. From corny attack names, the transforming ability of the giant robots, and a new monster to battle every week, the 70s mecha staples are all there.

If you enjoyed one of these series, I am sure you will enjoy the other.

Do you love the combination of giant robots, super science, a new monster to defeat each week, and our hero saving the world? Look no futher than Mazinger Z and Daitarn 3. Both follow the familiar formula of the 1970s mecha scene. If you enjoyed one, I am sure you will enjoy the other.

Getter Robo and Daitarn 3 are old school mecha series. From transforming robots to attacks with silly names to a different giant monster to defeat each week, the formula  is much the same. If you enjoyed one of these series, I can't see you NOT liking the other.

Gekigangar 3

Gekigangar 3

Ancient cave paintings left by the Super Paleolithic people tell of a great disaster befalling the people of Earth, when the evil Kyokka space empire will come to destroy all that we know and love. Humanity’s only chance lies in the prehistoric schematics for a super battle robot called Gekigangar 3! But even such a weapon is futile if there is not courage, love, and friendship among the brave humans fighting for peace and freedom! At least that’s what the crew of the Nadesico cruiser expect when they go to see the Gekigangar 3 marathon at the theatre…
