Both are isekai animes where are older main character is killed them they reincarnation into a fantasy like land, where they still remember there old life. In both main Characters start a new life in this fantasy land with new body, new name and new world.
One of the best Isekai anime. Mushoku Tensei is about a dude(adult) lacking a romance filled life, who dies and got reincarnated same as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a slime as he died without experiencing romance and got reincarnated and tries his best to fill in the gaps of what he did not experience in his life.
Isekai. With a lot of good luck and overwhelming power. You are not here for the battles, you will be here for an awesome story.
I love both anime. They are both great isekai with lovable MCs and a good plot.
Unlike many isekai Those 2 are actually in my heart I loved them and I'm reading their manga so i would 100% recommend both. And I hope I have helped you guys with my opinion.
A genius programmer and hardcore robot otaku is reborn into a world of knights and magic, where huge robots called Silhouette Knights roar across the land! Now reborn as Ernesti Echevalier, he uses his vast knowledge of machines and programming talents to begin to make his ultimate robot. But his actions have unexpected results...?! The dreams of a robot otaku will change the world!
Isakai with 'early start' and memories from past life, up to now Knight's Magic was the only one. Now Mushoku Tensei get u full next life start from 0y. and memories from last.
Isakai with memories from the past life is not that he is smart. All the normal stuff that he learns from the past life he is able to apply in the new one. For one unique goal. Giant Robots
It is June of the year CE 1923. A young girl with blond hair and blue eyes, Tanya Degurechaff, has entered the final curriculum of the Imperial Military Academy and is training at the third patrol line in the northern military district, the Norden Theater, as part of her service to the force. Her training, the first step toward a brilliant career as an aviation mage, should have gone off without a hitch... but things took an unexpected turn.
Based on a Light Novel, reincarnation, and magic. For a mature and logical person that wants to see epic battles and some complex problems that are not resolved just by brute force or overwhelming power. You have to be smart to continue.
i was sad ounce i finished it :( but that shouldnt sto you since this anime to me is a master peice that describes war from the strategic prospective while avoung religous problems its also tied to overlord if you look at the first episode youll see a reference other than that this anime to me is god sent (pun intended).
Avid bookworm and college student Motosu Urano ends up dying in an unforeseen accident. This came right after the news that she would finally be able to work as a librarian like she had always dreamed of. When she regained consciousness, she was reborn as Myne, the daughter of a poor soldier. She was in the town of Ehrenfest, which had a harsh class system. But as long as she had books, she didn't really need anything else. However, books were scarce and belonged only to the nobles. But that doesn't stop her, so she makes a decision... "If there aren't any books, I'll just create some."
Both shows characters taking advantage of an adult's mind in a child's body. Mushoku Tensei has more action and mature elements but both operate on a similar isekai premise.
Both of these isekais are in some way similar. They both are reincarnations of jobless people/bookworms. Both are very good animes, so if you like one of them you will like the other.
Chise Hitori was a child nobody wanted. Told by her own mother that she should never have been born and passed from one neglectful guardian to the next, the young girl has grown up feeling lost, hopeless and emotionally numb. At age fifteen she sells herself into slavery, desperate for a home where somebody- anybody- actually wants her to be there, and is purchased by a mysterious being with a skull for a head. He whisks Chise off to his home in England and introduces her to a world of talking animals, dragons and faeries, declaring that she is to become his apprentice in magic... and also his bride!
Both maind characters have tragic backstories who are thust into a world of magic they must learn about as they deal with their own inner demons. The telling of their tales has this slow, wholesome build with great character development and world building. You don't mind thet the writiers take their time in this fashion as each episode is a delight and makes you feel for the main characters as well as the supporting cast.
When Demon King Satan was facing his demise at the hands of Hero Emilia, he had no choice but to quickly flee to another world with his Demon General, Alsiel. But with Hero Emilia and others on Satan’s tail to slay him for good, will Japan ever become his new domain?
they are both isekais that are refreshing to watch
on mushoku the main character is not overpowered but is one of the most human like characters in this genre and his growth is palpable, with devil is a part timer the main character has to adapt to our way of living which is diferent from the usual human going to a world diferent from ours.
both of them have a good take on the isekai genre and are known as one of the first to have thos take on isekai.
please watch and even more important

You have a hard day and want to relax? This anime is awesome. A good change from the normal genre.
"Satou," aka Ichiro Suzuki is a programmer in the middle of a death march. He was supposed to be taking a nap but somehow wakes up in another world... What lies before him is what looks like the menu screen of the game he was working before his nap. He’s at a complete beginner stage at level 1. However, he had three “Meteor Showers” which could level a whole map. Suddenly, a whole group of lizardmen appears in front of him. In order to survive, Satou uses Meteor Shower, his level jumped to 310 and he became extremely wealthy. Whether it be dream or reality, Satou’s journey was now beginning.
When Haruhiro awakens, he's in the dark surrounded by people who have no memory of where they came from or how they got there. As the darkness fades, a fantastic new world called “Grimgar” appears before them and their adventure begins—but first, they'll have to choose their guild, class, and special abilities.
Isekai? Or just a video game that goes wrong?
This is the most realistic, admit it, if you were there you will not survive. They do not have any idea how they got there or at least memories. They don't have an overwhelming power or incredible skill and they have to survive in this new world. If you screw it up you will be dead.
A young man dies in a car accident and is reborn in a magical new world. The old, yet wise Merlin finds the boy, names him Shin, raises him from infancy, and teaches him combat and powerful magic along the way. 15 years later, Shin is ready to travel the globe on his own, but Merlin forgot to teach him something major—common sense!
