The third season of Mob Psycho 100.
Contrary to what some people have been saying about this season, I thought it was an amazing one. Yeah, we didn't get much of the random ghost hunting and fighting "big bad evil guy" in the second half, instead, we got to see Mob being explored as a character which in my opinion was long overdue. It's like tying up loose ends in previous seasons... we get to see previous "bad" characters changing for the better, Ritsu being able to overcome his inferiority complex towards his brother, the club members bonding, Reigen finally admitting to Mob who he really is (despite Mob already knowing) it was still something that was necessary and of course dimple and his god complex... also Reigen not being alone on his birthday and everyone being happy in general was a joy to see. The most important thing however was Mob battling and accepting himself for what he is, his abilities, learning to express his emotions, and being able to cry when he was rejected... etc. Seeing him go insanely out of control was something I wanted to see for a long time and boy was it amazing. The first season has a special place in my heart, but this one was very much enjoyable and well done, as always this series never disappoints.
This season has been interesting but I'm not sure if I could say it's as enjoyable as the first season. It had a very sweet ending. A good wrap to the season. It is worth watching.
I think that , for an anime , multiple seasons can occasionally mean a not as good of a story when it hits later seasons. For this anime in particular I think that the third season focuses more on mobs life rather than any action based (only the first five episodes or so have this kind of action) but if someone wants to start watching it then it is a full recommendation since it has a good balance of comedy and story and builds the characters well.
