You Are Delicious and Gon follow a variety of creatures (and at least one dinosaur in both) as they embark on a variety of misadventures. Gon is definitely the more upbeat and comedic of the two while You Are Delicious is more cute, but fans of one may enjoy the other.

Both shows have a lead dinosaur living their dinosaur lives the best way they know how. Gon is definitely more light hearted and hilarious where Umasou does things a little more dramatic but both will make you laugh. Follow these 2 dinosaurs while they interact with lots of different creatures and go on many awesome adventures! If you liked one you'll totally like the other.

Both of these are short, family-friendly anime about unusual creatures and their daily lives. Both have a fairly heavy theme of friendship and are fairly easy-watching, so if you like cute, child-like anime then both of these are for you.

Kuruneko

Kuruneko

A lady lives a quiet life with her two loves: alcohol, and her many cats. She’s had many of the latter over the years including an oft-grumpy Scottish Fold mix and Poko, an orange ball of energy who was abandoned as a kitten and saved to live another day. Whether the kitties are playing with cotton gloves, getting to know each other or causing mischief, they and the lady live happily together.

OK, so there's a big difference between anime about cute fluffy kitties and big scaly dinosaurs, but bear with me. Both Kuruneko and Omae Umasou da na are short anime that are like being read a bedtime story. They both have a central narrator who does all the voices and sound effects. They're also cute little stories that do have an "aww" factor to them, so if you like one, try the other.

The Old Crocodile

The Old Crocodile

Once upon a time, there was an old crocodile who had lived long enough to see the building of the pyramids. Plagued with rheumatism, the old crocodile could no longer catch his food; and so he did the next best thing: he ate one of his relatives. After failing to kill him, the rest of the crocodile family called a meeting to discuss what to do next - but the old crocodile, in the midst of things, slipped away unnoticed. He then met a kind octopus who fetched him food and stayed as his companion; but unfortunately, the old crocodile could not fight his instincts, and slowly began to devour her legs - one each evening...

Both somewhat of a cautionary tale (Old Crocodile FAR more), with whimsical animation and characters that will delight you.
