Miyakawa-ke no Kufuku also known as "The Miyakwa Family's Hunger" is a a web anime and the spin-off of the Lucky Star franchise not too long ago. It was released somewhere in the spring of 2013. I would say, this is probably one of the best short web animes I've ever watched. The only downside was that there's no season 2 of Lucky Star yet and that show was made in 2007-2008. Somewhere around there. Though I completed the whole series of Lucky Star in December 2013, I feel really bad for mostly everyone who waited for the season 2 for a extremely long time. I even waited for so long because that show was my most favorite. Of course, there are certain conversations I took interest with.

Story: The plot is sorta similar except with the 2 Miyakawa sisters Hinata and her little sister Hikage struggling with poverty and a financial crisis while both live in a simple apartment. There really isn't that much fun stuff I saw except food, video games, realistic stuff in the background, and some of the characters I treasure the most.

Animation: The animation is the same as Lucky Star which I've already watched. At least it's pretty decent.

Sound: There really isn't that much anime songs except the song called, "Makegumi" which was an interesting song containing lyrics of economic issues and food in my opinion. This took 6 episodes to complete the whole anime theme song.

Characters: The characters are kinda switched around in my opinion. But overall, I love most of the characters.

Hinata Miyakawa is the older sister and a otaku who spends money mostly on anime and manga and can be irresponsible sometimes when it comes to not buying food, but she's responsible for taking care of her little sister.

Hikage is the younger sister who is mostly too concerned about her older sister spending the income on manga and anime. She is also a food fanatic when it comes to her dreaming of meat most of the time. Damn, even that makes ME hungry.

For the minor characters, I always get overly hyped whenever I saw Konata, Kagami, and Tsukasa. Remember I said there are some characters I treasure the most? That's exactly what I'm talking about right now. Idk why I don't see them that much very often. The only problem was where's Miyuki in this show. My life just sucks right now. :(

Overall: This web anime show was actually not bad.

It's a bit decent and fun that belonged in the slice of life genre.

Recommended to anyone who already watched Lucky Star.

P.S: I hope they come out with a season 2 of Lucky Star. Otherwise, we'll be left out. Also, I wonder what Hikage looks like when she goes to the same high school as the main characters attended to. Idk I predicted a little too much there.
