The anime about non human want to serve some kind of human who really busy work at all the time because of they want to pay back kindness what human characters (Main Characters) done before.

alp2va alp2va says...

The shows are essentially the same, just choose between a fox girl or a dragon girl. Both are lighthearted, comedic slice of life shows. Dragon Maid seems to have much more of an overarching plot while Helpful Fox focuses more on the heartwarming aspect

DangoDaiku DangoDaiku says...

These two great anime come packaged with so many different feelings of comfort. They make you feel happy, and it brightens your day just watching them. Kobayashi is a little more on the comedy side, while senko is more relaxing.

YuiYui YuiYui says...

The Helpful Fox Senko-san and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid are two anime that feature the developing relationship between a human and a non-human, in Senko it's Senko a kitsune who desires to pamper Nakano whereas in Miss Kobayashi it's Tohru who as invaded the life of Kobayashi. Honestly two very cute series about the adventures of the two main characters as well as the colourful cast that surround them. In conclusion if you liked one of these shows, it's worth checking out the other.

Civan3931 Civan3931 says...

Both are simair with thease animes, but the only differents was about the tail of an dragon and a fox tail where are alike, so so yeah the tails are simair.

marioguy54 marioguy54 says...

If you enjoy the mood of Senko San then, if you haven't seen it yet I would urge you to watch Kobayashi. They are very similar in both premise and execution. I would say that Kobayashi is a tiny bit more complex however. If you enjoyed this and you want more that should absolutely be your next stop.

Axtumn Axtumn says...

Both have that nice "healing" effect ya know? Both animes have some sort of magical person (fox or dragon.) That person is literally meant to paper or care for the other person. The person they're taking care of are both overworked salary employees and when they come home are greeted with love and care.

bigsouthwind bigsouthwind says...

They are somewhat alike.

Kobayashi and Senko both involve cute characters showing up to a exhausted persons life.

DrakusethMOTF DrakusethMOTF says...

For one, both are free on Youtube, so keep that in mind. Senko-San and Miss Koboyashi's Dragon Maid both have amazing openings, both of which I've memorized. They both feature helpful godlike animal beings, coming into someones life, and stay out of love.

MisterPhantomAgent MisterPhantomAgent says...

It's basically the same thing, just that there's a gender difference and that one's a dragon while other's a fox.

Nothing's too different. Both have some sort of attraction towards one another and both are slice-of-life. Both maids (?) are all-in for housekeeping and that they serve the protagonist.

If you like one you'll probably enjoy the other. It's no different.

Smpl Smpl says...

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, the Kyoto Animation hit is about a young female programmer who ends up inviting a dragon named Tohru, as a maid to live at her home.

They both had some kind of mythical animal show up at their door, and pamper them. I've watched both, and I think they are pretty similar.

Hey, Slice-of-Life, Rom-Com starring people who have some funky animal features. If you liked one, you'll love the other.

Both shows are slice-of-life comedies about incredibly powerful nonhuman characters from high fantasy worlds being in normal human situations. This lends itself to similar types of humour, so if you like one of them you should try the other.

FullmetalDragon FullmetalDragon says...

Kobayashi-san and The Devil is a Part Timer are both comedies partially set in a work place with characters that aren't human. Since they come from other worlds, sometimes there is some confusion, which leads to some interesting comedy.

Jdogtoocool Jdogtoocool says...

Agreed, as stated above both shows are set up as slice of life but have that fantasy element. One's about demons and dying civilizations, while the other is about dragons and magic. There's a little bit of romance in both shows and have a little bit of fan service. If you liked one im sure you'll like the other.

Seisa Seisa says...

Both anime are about magical creatures living in our world or trying to. They're mostly light hearted and comedic with a few serious "fight-scenes".

Shadowrose96 Shadowrose96 says...

Both are comedies centered around characters who are far from human but are attempting to live in our world. Similar humor and both have very powerful characters that are adorably clueless about most things.

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a "volunteer" into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu's job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life. Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what's a full-blooded teenage human with raging hormones to do?

All those years spent killing slimes to make the money to pay the bills gave me a ton of experience points… Rumors of the level 99 witch spread, and soon I’m up to my ears in curious adventurers, duelist dragons, and even a monster girl calling me her mom! “This isn’t a dojo, so don’t come here to fight me…!” I’ve never been on an adventure, but I’m the strongest in the world… What’s going to happen to my relaxing life?!

Kobayashi's dragon maid & killing slimes for 300 years are both fantasy animes with yuri & GL fanservice, cute wholesome vibes, comedy, a dragon girl in the main cast (Tohru from dragon maid and Laika from killing slimes), and deal with isekai/"reverse isekai" which are basically two sides of the same coin.

Kaiten456 Kaiten456 says...

If you like slice of life tales of adventures with cute characters, both of these animes will be for you. They both follow supernatural tropes and are more for the light hearted, slice of life feeling. Though in all sense, you'll probably enjoy Kobayashi san chi no maid dragon, in my experience.

molopower molopower says...

Though the setting is vastly different, "I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level" feels similar in nature to Dragon maid, after all, the tight family dynamic is almost identical. I personally prefer this show to Miss Kobayashi.

wucchu wucchu says...

Both animes have similar fantasy-type characters that include a GL-type atmosphere. They both have a slow life story with lots of comedy with a bit of taste of adventure. The main difference is that Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid's main character didn't get teleported to another world even though the dragons did come from there.

Lucky Star

Lucky Star

In present day Japan, the life of a school girl is never dull. The easily-bored Konata never finds time to study because of her otaku habits, which frustrates hard-working Kagami to no end. On the other hand, laid-back Tsukasa always manages to go with the flow, while Miyuki is concerned with keeping her status as resident know-it-all. Join these four girls as they muse and meander their way through everyday events such as eating chocolate cones, doing homework, gaming, and trips to the beach galore.

Both are slice-of-life comedies with otaku themes (like video games and maid uniforms) and a lot of scenes where the characters simply talk. Further, both have mainly female casts.

Both Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and Orenchi no Furo Jijou are comedy series focusing around a young cynical Japenese person who lives by themself. They meet an eccentric mythical creature who moves into their house and, over the course of the season, invites their other mystical friends of different varieties to meet the human.

Basically, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is a genderbent version of Orenchi no Furo Jijou.

Both anime are light-hearted comedies about a normal person unintentionally getting involved in a fantasy world

Of course these are already kinda of in the same family, but this is a really good anime to watch with funny slice of life. Though Kobayashi is more of a family Gabriel Dropout is more of a story about friends and sprinkled with a generous helping of Irony.

Reiology Reiology says...

I would recommend these because both of them are funny and cute. I think that people would like Gabriel Dropout or Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. The art style, some scenes just reminds me of both sides of the other one anime.

Basement Basement says...

Gabriel Dropout has similarities to the genre of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. Both are fantasy, a slice of life that follows the trope of lifestyle changes. While Tohru, the once-powerful dragon comes to earth and becomes attached to her human companion Kobayashi. Gabriel comes to earth after completing her training as one final step before becoming a full-fledged angle along with some of her opposite companion's from hell and heaven. She however becomes so invested on her new lifestyle, particularly from the help of games. She has now on her way to becoming a fallen angel.

While at first, the plot seems very different the two share a lot in common with the subtle shoujo-ai in character relationships in Tohru and Kobayashi. The same in Gabriel and Vignette. Both anime watch them in everyday life dealing with relatable plotlines while also showing the contrast in life between their life now from what it used to be. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for something to fill the void left by your favourite dragon maid!

Not only that, it's shy, a crybaby, and most of all, heckin' cute. And so, Sora and ends up keeping the mummy, naming his new little buddy "Mii-kun." The difference is she's a centaur; but she's not alone. In fact, all of her classmates are supernatural creatures, sporting either horns, wings, tails, halos, or some other unearthly body appendage. Yet despite their fantastical natures, Himeno and her best friends-the dragon-winged Nozomi, and Kyoko with her spiraled horns-are down-to-earth, fun-loving teenagers who grapple with issues of life and love in a mostly normal daily school setting.

Both of these anime feature these cute monster girls in their everyday life, reflecting on what it is like to live in a world with monsters (dragons in Kobayashi's case and a huge range of monsters in A Centaur's Life). These anime have both used cute animation and short comedic stories to progress the story, causing both to be quite similar to one another. So due to these I believe if you enjoyed one of these shows then try out the other xx
