Both are targeted at the female audience. In both, the female MC is really good at cooking and they had to stay with the male MC for 'kinda' similar reasons. The MC had to cope with the male MC by cooking for them and the male MC, in both, are strong either in magic/sword fight where it is expressed whenever the female is in trouble obviously.
the fact that she was brought unwilingli bu sill fell for the guy is similar and the way of winin peoples hearts is by food.
Both series have a talented young female chef getting whisk away to another world and getting involved with a handsome, powerful, but somewhat arrogant and overbearing male lead. The chef at first resists the advances of her male colleague, but over time develops romantic feelings for him. She also have to fight off evildoers, most of the time being save by her romantic interest.
Both anime started with female lead who are well in cooking. Both focus on delicious food and the story between the female lead and their customer and of course the male main.
Similar protagonists and story. The protagonist, who's very talented at cooking, ends up in a different world where she meets the love interest and some other characters, most of which she befriends. Both of these anime also have a fair amount of drama and action besides the cooking and romance parts. Overall they're really nice and enjoyable anime.
Qian Yunxi, the eldest daughter of the Grand Councilor, has had supernatural powers since she was young. Because of this, she has been kept in the Spirit-Cloud Mountain as she is seen as an ominous girl. When she's 16, she finds herself substituted for her younger sister into a marriage with Prince of Ye. However, it is said that the Prince of Ye is cold, eccentric, and cruel.
both are hilarious and the main characters are very very similar, the male leads even look identical haha
Both are classic chinese way back in the dynasty periods setting. Both herioines have strong personalities and are set on what they want to do. Neither one are really looking for love during the series. Strangely the men both look similar... Not sure if thats just a fad right now in chinese anime since the main love choices are turning up to look like them in more then just these two shows. The stories are both awesome on how they move along. I persoanlly love historical based romance anime and these two have really hit the mark with that. I will admit I like Tong Ling Fei better though.
You would like both because both of the female main characters don't like the male main characters. The male main characters both love the female main characters but don't show it.
Both guys MCs have a similar cold demeanor and both look pretty similar (which is great because I mean..... look at them <3) Meng Qi Shi is more focused on cooking but both have a strong female character that doesn't depend on a man to live their lives.
Ever since he was little, Souma Yukihira's main goals have been to beat his father in a cooking contest and take over the family diner. That's why, when his dad suddenly announces that he's shutting the restaurant down and sending Souma to cooking school, Souma is shocked. However, Tohtsuki Academy is no ordinary cooking school. This elite institution is filled with culinary giants like Erina "God Tongue" Nakiri, who does her best to keep a lowly short-order like Souma from even making it inside the door. However, if the snobs can dish it out, Souma can serve it up, and when he learns that only a handful of the students manage to graduate every year, he swears that the only way he'll leave is as number one!

They come from different countries, but their similarities lay on cooking where the budget is thrown. The food in both look delicious than it should in reality but Meng Qi Shi Shen has cooking as a side act and there is an actual action fight since it takes place in a historical setting. Meanwhile, food wars heavily focus on cooking and takes place in our modern society. The audience focus is also different where Food wars is for shounen audience, and Meng Qi Shi Shen for female audience.
Both center around food and cooking new dishes each episode. But Meng Qi Shi Shen is set in a historical setting, is more lighthearted, and has wayyy less nudity than Shokugeki no Souma.

Both are shoujo isekai about a girl using her talents to navigate her way through ancient China and win the man of her dreams, while empowering girl individuality and an "I don't need a man but I'll take one anyways" mentality.

Chinese historical, romanic anime with similar tone, visual vibe (I dont hate the CG either) with sassy leads.
