Both are action shows which feature teenagers who fight using sentient weapons. The main difference between each show is that Mecha-Ude is not as mecha-oriented as Bubuki Buranki but fans of one will definitely like the other one too.

Both revolve around sentient weapons that are in a symbiotic relationship with their human hosts/masters. In Cencoroll they are alien lifeforms, while in Mecha-Ude they are mechanical arms of uncertain origin. In both the object of the battles is obtaining the others' weapons and both have a boy+girl pairing for protagonists.
