So Mayoi Neko Overrun! has specials? Despite being 6 episodes of (roughly) 210 seconds each, are they worth your time? Genre can only be ecchi, there is nothing else to this. Even if you watched and enjoyed the anime, there is nothing for you here. It is literally a montage of random scenes. Only ecchi and overall, you can tell it tries to be funny. Does it succeed in doing so?  Animation quality is good, there is some chibi style bits. However the contents of what they animate are not great. I'll give this an ok score only for the chibi addition, which I didn't notice in the original series. Sound is also pretty pathetic, nothing amazing. The characters barely talk. The song at the start seems Ok and again, it seems like they are attempting to make the viewer laugh. I was not amused. This also gets an average score but only because of the tragic music in the serious scene of the montage reminded me of the only good moments in the anime itself. Characters are not worth mentioning much about, since they barely dislay personality. Chise continues her big-ego ojou-sama-ness to no surprise. Ieyasu has a Hitler sytle rise to power using speeches on 2D girls being better than real women. The last scene he is in shows him as an old man muttering incomprehensibly on his own whilst stroking a cat. Fumino is obviously beating up Takumi a lot. Takumi stares at Nozomi's bare arse and does nothing, just walks by. Nozomi eats roll cake and sits on a hill with cats. Otome travels the world doing random crap like giving soldiers some water during desert warfare. Daigoro obsesses over his model building. And finally Fumino has a shit tonne of rock-paper-scissors games with Chise, where the loser is punished by random things that try to make you laugh. Things like objects dropping on their heads, falling through a hole in the floor, getting eaten by a random shark and having water poured on them. Theres is no story, I literally told you what happens during the character section of this review. The things that come close to stories are fragmented scenes that seem related. If you put them together they show a pointless mini-story (if it can even be called a story) less than 30 seconds long. Nothing happens whatsoever. The scene that had me the closest to actually laughing was when Ieyusa gets urinated on, by a mysterious formless squiggle that the cast seem to treat as if it were alive. He deserves it. Is this a good use of (roughly) 1260 seconds/20 minutes? Nope. There is no point to this whatsoever, I didn't even laugh. And was laughing my head off in public (no doubt getting weird looks) whilst listening to a podcast today. Those 20 minutes are better spent elsewhere watching funny videos on youtube, looking at pictures of actual cats or, if you're in this for the ecchi because you're a hormone-driven adolescent pervert, looking at some actual porn. I only went through with watching it all for the sake of the review. Not worth your time. Family-friendliness Rating: 5/5 This is ecchi, I'm not going to even bother (lower is better) Overall Rating: 1/10 (higher is better)
