A Bridge to the Starry Skies

Kazuma and his little brother Ayumu have arrived at the countryside, eager to begin a new life at the Yorozuyo Inn – a place that Kazuma once visited as a child. There's fresh air, running water and relaxation – a perfect place for the sickly Ayumu to recover. But the pair's arrival is anything but uneventful, what with getting lost, Kazuma meeting and accidentally kissing the lovely Ui in the woods, and enraging her protective friend Ibuki in the process! Now, with a less than ideal first impression on his new classmates and more beautiful women popping up around him each day, Kazuma certainly has his hands full with misunderstandings and budding romances!

Aside from being harem anime based off a visual novel, the protagonists have siblings who suddenly transfer to a new school with him. As the plot develops, dramatic love triangles form in a very similar way. If you found this at least somewhat interesting, watch the other.

Both these animes is about a boy going to a new school and meet new friends (most part of them are girls) and eventually fall in love. both are really great animes

zetazach zetazach says...

Both Hoshizora and Mashiro have the same idea when it comes down to it with some minor differences; the protagonist goes to a new school/area with their sibling, they get a harem, and find their special someone. Also, the character scheme is similiar (character have similiar personalities between the two animes).

Crizy Crizy says...

Similar Romance-Harem-School Life animes. Male protagonist gets transferred to another school where he meets multiple girls and is nice to them (not only them, everyone of course).

Mostly for his kindness the majority of these girls fall in love with him and as always like in 90% of Romance animes he doesn't realize it since he's a baka.

In Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi and Mashiro-Iro Symphony the main (male) character's feelings are unknown from these girls until the last couple of episodes.

Clannad

Clannad

Tomoya Okazaki is a third-year high school student who is generally bored with life and doesn't take his studies, future, or anything else seriously. One day, however, he meets a lonely-looking girl in the school courtyard, Nagisa Furukawa. She explains to him the source of her loneliness: she had missed a lot of the previous school year and thus is repeating her third year; everybody that she knew has already graduated, and she is lonely. Tomoya is rather indifferent at first, but decides that he has nothing better to do and spends increasingly more time helping Nagisa restore the school drama club. As his relationship with Nagisa grows, Tomoya begins to open up to various other people around the school as well...

Both Clannad and Mashiro-Iro Symphony are similar in terms of how the protagonist builds his relationships with the various women around him.

Clannad and mashiro! Almost all the girls in the harem are in love with the male lead. but as the story goes they realize he is in love with someone else. really sweet romance between the 2 leads. and its definetely worth to watch these 2 animes!! recommend clannad as a first watch though :) would have given it 10 stars if i could :)

Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends

Kodaka is a delinquent. At least, that’s what his fellow classmates seem to think. Thanks to his naturally-blonde hair and an unfortunate series of misunderstandings, the boy can’t seem to shake his false reputation and hasn’t made a single friend. Infinite Stratos

Infinite Stratos

The development of the Infinite Stratos powered exoskeleton changed the world’s balance of power. While the distribution of IS systems has created peace, only women have been able to pilot them. So when Ichika Orimura is discovered to be the first male with the ability to control an IS, whatever plans he had for his future are tossed out the window even as he’s thrown to the wolves and enrolled at the otherwise entirely female Infinite Stratos Academy by order of the Japanese government!

Infinite Stratos is also very similar to Mashiroiro Symphony: The Color of Lovers. The main character is the only guy in a Female School!!! The reason he joins is he is able to use a machine which only females can use. There is quite a bit of ecchi in this anime but it is in a contained anime. The harem that surrounds the main character is quite alike. You should probably watch the first episode & you will truly be astounded that's a gurantee if you loved/liked this anime

Aside from being harem anime based off a visual novel, the story begins with a protagonist transferring to a new school. Eventually, he joins a club that acts as the center point where he will establish or build on his friendships, with the females in particular. The main heroines hold this club very dear to their hearts, and with the assistance of the selfless protagonist, their collaborative actions in the club better the lives of living beings. Romance also blossoms while working together.

It isn't every day that a harem anime has a protagonists who is not either: a pansy, an idiot, or a jackass.  Shuffle and Mashiro-Iro Symphony are rare exceptions.

Zaig Zaig says...

Both settings are at a school for somewhat wealthy students, the male protagonist gets elected to be the class representative/run for student council president, a female protagonist has a mysterious hatred towards boys/chocolate and another heroine both have an adult relative working at the school. "Love" and "Lovers" being in both of these titles give it away that romance plays a big factor into the story, so I believe there's enough similarities between these two for you to like each.
