Kiss Him, Not Me

Kiss Him, Not Me

Kae Serinuma is what you'd call a "fujoshi." When she sees boys getting along with each other, she loves to indulge in wild fantasies! One day her favorite anime character dies and the shock causes her to lose a ton of weight. Then four hot guys at school ask her out, but that isn't exciting to her at all — she'd rather see them date each...

Both anime feature a character who has recently lost a ton of weight and is suddenly quite attractive to those around them. While Kae (the protagonist of Kiss Him Not Me) did not try to lose weight and is initially scared of her potential suitors, Masamune purposefully sought out his new body specifically to become popular with girls. However both characters have a great deal of trouble adjusting to life in their new bodies and hilarity ensues. Both characters are quite endearing and the supporting characters in both anime are interesting. We also are not sure at this point in either anime who the main character will end up with or how their relationships will play out. Personally I am looking forward to more from both shows!

They both have character protagonists who both lost tons of weight and become super popular. While Masamune is more about revenge, Kae's is more lighthearted seeing that five guys now regret treating her badly when she was fat.

Both are about people who reform themselves and end up in crazy romantic situations. Nothing ever seems to go their way but there's always a good laugh.

Toradora!

Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for...

Both anime are similar in the since of both male mcs unknowingly want the attention of the female. Both are basically plot after plot of the mcs schemes that unintentionally help everyone heal from past scars overtime.

Well, both are focused on the main female character, that is a hot-blooded, good at fighting, rich girl.

They both involve playing mind games with their love interest. Both the female protagonists are very tsundere. They are also very prideful which makes them even more tsundere to the love interest. In all they are both funny animes that have similar, but at the same time different plots and characters.
