If you're looking for anime similar to Makura no Danshi, you might like these titles.
After a hard day of exercise and having problems dozing off, Hinako is glad to have the viewer join her in bed to keep her company. Slipping into panties and a night-dress, she unfortunately struggles to get comfy. Seductively tossing and turning in bed, she is still a little shy that someone is watching her every move. Will she be kept awake at night by the thought of a late night snack, or will we finally get to sleep with Hinako?
Both of these are unusual anime where the main characters speak towards the camera at you (it has a first-person view) and act like you're sleeping together with them. They seem to be directed towards lonely otaku-type people who might want to share a bed with a 2D character. Although Makura is (generally) for women, and Hinako for men, if you liked one you might be interested in checking out the other.
If you want to sleep along side some anime boys or girls look no further than these two sleepy titles.
This is a fairly obvious pairing. Pillow Boys and Sleeping with Hinako are the yin/yang of sleepy titles. Both are utterly pointless and also hilarious in different ways - whether it's the cringeworthy lines in Pillow Boys and the bizarre focal points of each episode (such as chastising you, the viewer, for drinking too much, or offering to massage your butt), or the over-the-top boobs and ecchi in Hinako.
Both of these bedtime anime are about the viewer being the object of affection of the MC. While they are opposites because of gender, they do have a lot of 4th wall staring and one-sided conversations. So, if you need more anime people to talk to, try this other anime.
Both of these series are completely plotless and focus on sleeping and bedtime. Their purpose are to get you to fall asleep... I hope.
If boobies and ecchi aren't your thing perhaps you'll enjoy Pillow Boys and their awkward lines or vice versa.
When Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa and Rin were in elementary school, they swam together in a relay race and won the match. As Rin was on his way to Australia to train to become an Olympic champion, the gang decided to bury their trophy in a time capsule and retrieve it when they all had grown up. Now, Haruka, Makoto and Nagisa have reunited in high school and decide to dig up the prize. But on the way there, they run into none other than Rin, and he's determined to show Haru who's the best! As a result of this fateful meeting, the three friends decide to start a swim club, along with fellow classmate Rei, and their rival's little sister Gou as the team manager. Can the gang hold their own against Rin and prove their skills at the Prefectural Tournament?
There's a high probability that if you're watching either Pillow Boys or Free, you're not doing so for the sleeping banter (PB) or the sports (Free). Let's be honest, you're in it for the fanservice; so even though these titles are completely different, they both deliver (to varying degrees). Pillow Boys inundates you with cheesy, best-effort smutty lines and bedroom eyes, and Free is pretty much a nonstop bare, muscular chests extravaganza.
Cute boys? Check. In a variety pack of personalities? Check. Made for women to ogle hotties? Check. While the two series are vastly different in terms of plot, length, and general amount of clothing, not are definitely geared for male fanservice.
A P.O.V. anime where you are the protagonist. You are the new manager for the apartment building where 3 guys live as roommates!
Room Mate basicaly chose 3 types of man and put them in the same appartment as you.
Makura no Danshi put 12 different boys in each episode so you can't "spend" much time with them but it's basically the same.
+ both are POV anime.
Both are short length episode series that are in a 1st person point of view (well, partially in Room Mate's case). Both feature a bunch of hot guys (3 in Room Mate, 12 in Makura no Danshi) and both have plenty of fanservice (more so in Room Mate). The same target audience will probably like both.
You are the protagonist. A new project in virtual anime from SMIRAL Animation that also brought you the "Anitore" series and "Makuranodanshi." This time, the project is about 3 stories that develop in your (one) room.
Both are POV series designed for a quick pick-me-up story of flirty romance and sensual fanservice. Neither series has any plot to them, and it really feels more like watching a dating sim.
Both of these shows are POV series ,in which the viewer 'interacts' with the characters within the series. It Usually usually ment to be in a romantic light.
These series are basically the the same. The only main differences are just that each series features two different sexes.
Pillow Boys features male characters while One Room features female characters.
One Room also focuses on one character for multiple episodes unlike Pillow Boys (for the most part).
When the heroine regains consciousness in an unfamiliar place, she has suddenly lost all memories of everything that happened before August 1. What is this place, and what was she doing there? Who is she, and what sort of life had she lived?
Love watching pretty boys, and don't care about a plot line? Then try Amnesia! It's based off a dating sim game where basically a bunch of georgous guys fawn over a boring girl. If you enjoyed Makura no Danshi, you's probably enjoy a show like Amnesia.
That burning TV anime, “Ani Tore! EX” is coming back even more powered up as “Ani Tore! XX!” There’ll be even more training techniques than last season! The new character, Idemi Sakura-chan, who’s selfish and lonely appears!
Third season of One Room.
Second season of One Room.
