Criminals beware! The young Yuumi Takeshita is the newest member of Tawagoto precinct's police force, and she's ready to arrest all of the baddies in town. Alongside her once-savior Toru Ichidaiji - magician extraordinaire - and childhood-friend-turned-idol Sarasa Maijima, Yuumi will perform her civic duty while getting involved in hanami festivals, sumo contests, and magician events galore!
All six episodes have very shallow, simple and silly plots that barely manages to keep you engaged. There is a beginning to the story but the last episode is not a conclusion, probably because they wanted to keep going but for some reason stopped, so it ends halfway. The animation is very, very poor but some scenes here and there get an upgraded animation. The character design is also simple but I guess it a little charm. The characters are ok, you have the usual strong but dumb heroine, the YMCA crew and the magician which is the only original character. Overall I would not recommend this OVA (maybe the manga is better) to anyone and the only reason to watch it is if you are a fan of the manga and want to see how it would look animated.
This was a fun OVA to watch with a lot of great humor and moments. The story is pretty simple but the characters are really likeable. I especially love the relationship between Yumi and Tohru and they're both great and interesting characters. Yumi is a cop and Tohru is a magician, what a great combo! I recommend this if you're looking for a short watch but just be warned, there is a rapey scene in the second episode.
