They both are about school kids falling in love and have very similar art and characters. The type of shojou anime is much the same and the characters are about the same age. Overall, Special A and Kaichou wa Maid Sama are very much alike.
Both anime are very much alike, the girl is working hard to overtake the guy, but the guy is always far off in front of her. Despite that, they have feelings for each other. the characters have very similar personalities, same art... however, kaichou wa maid-sama have more story development compared to special A.
Hard headed, strong, determined girl who hates to lose and is going to high school with a group of freinds with various fun and entertaining personalities? As well as the perfect, popular guy who likes to tease her? Well either of these fits these perfectly. I've also read the mangas of both. You couldn't love one without loving the either. Seriously, I suggest either one of these if you've watched the other. And even if you haven't seen either one yet you should definitely watch them both. Two animes that are bound to get you laughing in fits of tears at the right moments and shouting at the screen at others.
If you like one of these anime you will be sure to like the other for there is a lot of similarity between the two. First both Hikari and Misaki are strong willed, fired up, smart, competitive, tough, can never seem to win over Kei/Usui, and they even sorta look alike. Both Kei and Usui are arrogant, smart, strong, love to tease Hikari/Misaki, and they also kinda look alike. Two, the settings and images of both anime really resemble each other.
These characters are very simialr with strong willed girl trying to overcome an always two steps ahead guy. While they both learn to be more vulnerable and with another person. The settings are very similar.
Both animes have a hard working girl as the main character who is in second place to the main guy but has vowed to catch up to him. Both of the girls are strong and smart and make you want to work hard, too!!!
Both Special A and Kaicho wa Maid-sama! are about strong, fiery young women who try to accomplish everything by themselves, can't seem to pass her rival, and let their judgments about people blind them to the truth. If you like the way that Hikari and Kei or Misaki and Takumi interact, you really should do yourself a favor and watch the other pair as well.
Both have very similar main characters kei and Usui both tell the girl that they like them but both girls are clueless and even things they are moking them. Both are dense girls when it comes to love but is good at and works hard at everything else. While they do try their best the guys are always in front of them. The stiry is very similar and if you like one of the animes you will like the other
If you have already watched one of these anime, and to the second a hand yet do not send in addition, but you liked the first, be assured that the second as will not leave you indifferent. Finally, each interested a genre should watch both of them. Both protagonists simply amaze with the similarity of character and appearance. As the general spirit of an anime is in many respects similar: action occurs at school, both heroes test to each other liking. The guy appears the initiator. And the girl understands nothing in relations and presidency or rivalry with the cleverest and talented is interested only in the duties, whether it be.
well the story have similar points, like the fact that is a really good romantic comedy and both main characters are very smart, strong and competitive..
Also the fact that the guy is totally in love of the girl but she doesn't sees that way, and she only see him as a competition and also annoying guy.
the comedy is very similar also..
In both animes the male lead is superior to the female lead - though the female lead is really hard-working she's always a step behind the male lead. The male lead is in love with the girl but she does not recognize this.
In addition both shows are episodic, there is no real continuity between episodes besides that the female lead starts to feel the same way as the male lead (but she hardly admit or notice this).
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! and Special A are similar in many ways. The two main female characters, Hikari and Misaki, both hate losing and are hard-working people, and they are dense towards the other's feelings. Kei and Usui are both geniuses, and they are capable of doing things that normal people can't. If you liked one of these shows, you are sure to like the other!
Both main characters are strong girls who do their best to be better than the boys and who fail in noticing their impact on boys. Both shows are hilarious with an underlying romantic theme.
In both Special A and Kaichou wa Maid-Sama the two main characters are a guy and a girl, and the girl is always trying to show-up each other in almost anything. The guy obviously like the girl, but the girl doesn't quite accept that she likes him as well.
Hikari and Misaki are very similiar characters. They are headstrong, smart, brash but still nice. They're also very dense when it comes to love. Usui and Kei are also very similiar too. The animation of the characters are both very pretty and stories have the same feel to it. Both are comedic with plenty of romance thrown. It's in a school setting.
if you liked either these movies your going to love both ways, both involve two "higher" class promiscuous pretty boys, that chase after a girl that is just in denial of the truth, there both really well drawn charcts. funny, sweat, cunning, and best drama anime ever! just if you loved either or, your going to love the other!!
these two anime are similar in highschool student and how the heroin character were really independent, smart than other and hardworking, get respect from others but never can surpass the male characters. also, it focusing on how male characters show or introduced the romance/love feeling to the heroine.
Both of these animes present the main characters in a similar way. The girls are identical with their personality of self-determination and the male protagonists are alike because of their feelings for the girls. The art is also the same and the environment also focuses in a school area.
If you are looking for one of those school romance types of comedies Kaichou wa Maid-sama! And Speacial A are just the ticket. Both of the female protagonists are trying to out do the guy that they happen to really have feelings for. The men happen to be really similar to each other (the even look alike) very strong and attractive, slyly supporting the female character on their way.
Oh My Gosh!
I've never seen two animes so close!
Both have a main girl who is good at everything (besides cooking) and is always competing with the main male. They're both amazing stories that i absolutley loveee!
The main male characters are so heroic, it's crazy!
If you loved one, you'll definitley love the other.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama is my favorite♥
There are a lot of reasons why you should watch Kaichou wa Maid-sama! if you liked this animé.
Special A and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! are very similar in that both have as the lead female character a clueless, naive, but superhumanly talented/skilled teenage girl who is admirably hardworking as well and has a tough image but actually has a kind heart. Another common theme is that the guy is also superhumanly gifted and strangely always a step ahead of the girl, which rouses the competitive spirit in the girl and makes her see him as a rival instead of seeing him as a guy (thus, his brief journey into one-sided affection begins).
Now, that plot may actually sound cliched or overused already, but for these two animés, it worked. The character development and the dialogues are never boring. Both of these animés have managed to find that perfect mix of humor and romance without being cheesy or tasteless. Sure, there are a lot of absurdities, (e.g. superhuman strength of the girl) but hey, this is anime. :D
#2 wants to beat #1... #1 falls in love with #2... #2 is clueless... they all lived happily ever after.
If you loved Special A then you will love Kaichou wa Maid-sama and vice versa. Both center around a smart heroine that strives to beat their rival. They each fall in love with their rival. Romantic moments are hilarious and really enjoyable. ^_^
If you like any one of thesee series, you will loke the other too ^^
They are similar in the ways of both having a strongwilled girl, working for her goals while at the same time being completely unaware of the feelings of her male friends.
Enjoy!
EXACT SAME STORY LINE (ish), the girl works through determination alone to beat a guy and yet he falls in love with her!
If you liked Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, you'd also like: Special A! because both animes' are certainly extordinary and are very simmilar to each other, Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid-sama! is very simmilar to Hikari Hanazo from Special A! Both are one of the main characters' in the animes' Both girl's are stong, pretty and caring towards other people. Misaki feels like she is losing to Usui because of how perfect he is but then she start's to slowly fall in love with him but dosen't know it yet while in Special A!, It is a little different Hikari Hanazo when she was six years old she has struggled to defeat her rival Kei Takashima at anything, whether it be athletics or academics. To date she has proven unsuccessful, resulting in Kei constantly referring to her as "second place."In reality, Kei has been in love with Hikari for quite some time, but Hikari remains completely oblivious to the fact, and if you think back towards Kaichou wa Maid-sama! they are very quite simmilar. Usui teases Misaki even though deep down he loves her dearly. The fact that both girl's cannt know it show's they are not willing to show their feelings towards them I recommend you watch this to see what happends next.
What to say that hasn't already been said? Special A and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! feature a group of very simmilar characters that interact in a simmilar way among each other, end up in simmilar situations and form simmilar relationships. The main difference is that Special A has given a lot more attention to it's supporting characters and developed their individual pasts and relationships even further, while in KWMS the main pair gets the most glory.
Both of these animes are very similiar. The art style is close, although not the same. The amount of humor is pretty much the same.
The guys are both in love with the girls, although the girls are either too dense or won't accept it. Both girls have very random family scenes(although the Maid-sama ones tend to be more sweet). Both girls are very hardworking.
If you liked one, you'll like the other. Although they are in different situations, there's a lot of the same stuff in them.
Its really the same! Both main guy characters (Kei and Usui) are hot and it has really good drawing! The main girl characters (Misaki and Hikari) have no idea about their love
The guy secretly likes the girl, always saves her, and both of the girls appear to be "tough". In both animes, the lead female and male roles are smart, athletic, and inhuman. If you like maid-sama, you'll LOVE special a. garuntee!
Both Misaki and Hikari are strong and determent. They both compete against a perfect guy. They both don't (want to) see that the boy is actually in love with them. Usui and Kei are both great male characters, but slightly differ from each other. Both animes are sweet and fun, I highly recommend both of them!
Both have strong female characters that believe they can accomplish if they work hard. The men sm to always beat them and of course it takes the girls forever to figure out their feelings. I found Maid sama after looking through these recommendations. Its totally worth it :)
I really enjoyed both of these animes, each had cutesy feel good moments. And they made me laugh. Watch 'em! :)
Maid-sama and SA are interestingly so much alike! They both have this serious-but uber HOT-guys who secretly like a girl, and the both the girls can't cook, but can fight! Both shows are hilarious and make you want to watch MORE MORE MORE! I absolutely loved the two. :DDD
It has the same kind of cuteness to it! The love-resistant main character is what got me hooked ^^
Both anime have crazy outgoing female protagonists and a male progagonist that loves to pick on them. I have to say that these 2 anime generally gave off the same feel when you watch them
I like both anime's. kaichou a little bit more. I think both have the same general idea of a hardworking girl that first deny her own interest in the boy: tusunder? I think so.
Both anime produce the same feeling when you see them. Main male character is good looking, charming and have tons of girls looking to get into their pants, but they are after one girl that is clumsy, has no woman-like behavior and is cluless about her feelings.
So if u like one of these animes, YOU MUST see the other.
Both are about a high school boy and girl who are better than the others in various things; in both its the boywho ends up falling for the girl and its the girl that considers the boy to be her rival before even considering that she likes him. Both girls are very stubborn and but end up admiting they like the boy.
If you liked one you should give the other one a try.
In each of these, there is an intelligent, strong and talented female paired with a male that has similar characteristics. If you enjoyed their interactions in one, you'll surely enjoy the interactions in the other.
Both Kaichou... and Special A revolve a story of high school students and their daily lives that include love story; main male characters are both witty, smart, and love and protect the heroines. On the other hand, the heroines are both independent, who refuses to be protected by heroes. If you like school life/sweet love story, you will like Kaichou and Special A!
both animes have similar character settings. the males are somewhat super awesome while the girls are hard working. the males (kei and usui) love the females (hikari and misaki) very much and was always by their side and protecting them
they're both totally awesome! With cute romance stuff. If you liked one, you will like the other!
their both have a strong lead girl who is just awesome and end up having their rival like them
Both anime have very talented male and female lead characters who love to compete against each other. Both leading males are cool, calm, and pretty much perfect. Both have a focus on the main male and female falling in love with each other.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! is very much similar to Special A, this is mainly because in both series a perfect boy falls for second perfect, hardworking girl. Both the lead male protogonists (Usui Takumi & Takashima Kei) will always be perfect, cool & composed with the female leads (Hikari Hanazono & Ayuzawa Misaki) being Hardworking, little bit egostic yet loving, second perfect, who always wanted to surpass the male leads. Also yet another important similarity is that the feel, the mood & the romantic environment in the series. both the series gives a warm, light hearted romantic feel (can't able to express in words) which will surely make the viewers fall for the series. its a great pity that both these series are short & does'nt have season yet its what make it so so beautiful. Anyways if you like one surely you will like other. both KMS & SA will surely be in memories of viewers.
The couples in them are quite similar, most notably both girl characters can't cook! Their characters are all very strong willed and high achievers, for example, school president or extension classes. Whilst characters might be very similar, but lets face it most shoujo anime charcters are, the storylines are completely different. Either way you're sure to have great laughs and sweet moments throughout.
Both center around a headstrong, determined heroine who cares about her friends and those around her, with the exception of one guy who she deems her rival and is determined to best him. Sadly, she has no idea that the guy actually cares for her. Very cute love story that will reward you with that "just kiss her already!" you often don't find in other shows.
They are both about a strong-willed and independent girl who falls in love with the guy she hates the most. They both happen at school.
Both series have a strongwilled protagonist, and have the same air to them. Similar graphics, and similar comedy. Both are hilarious and both guys mess with the female characters.
Both series are very similar: the action, the characters, the way they interact, or the things they do. However I found Maid-sama to be much, much better. So if you liked Special A you will most likely LOVE Maid-Sama. Maid-sama has better graphics, it is funnier, and the relationship between the main characters is also more interesting (a bit "kinkier" and less childish in a way). You will most likely love the male lead, as well. No doubts here. Kei from Special A is not nearly as interesting and as provoking as Usui is. All in all, I found Maid-sama to be less shoujo-ish and more mature than Special A, altough the series are, undoubtedly, very, very similar.
THEY ARE SO SIMILAR! TOTALLY SIMILAR! Both have a competitve main female character that are totally capable YET never seems to win the guy. Both are totally oblivious to the male's feeling and at the same time, unaware of their own feelings as well. Totally sweet and lovely anime that I recommend you to watch.
The art styles are very similar, the plot, though unique to each story, is still very similar, with the male character persuing the protagonist. The protagonists are both quite hardheaded but endearing. Both animes feature the school setting, along with ideas, school carnivals, class presidents etc. Overall, although both animes, though different, are both enjoyable nonetheless.
They are similar becasue they each have a hard working teenager who doesn't notice the main male characters feeling toward them.
They both have the genre of comedy and romance. Both also happens in school. Both heroine and heroes excels in academics and both animes focuses on love and friendships :)
Both have hero character who always saves the main character. Hero is smarter and is love with heroine. Heroine is angry with hero due to him being smarter than her.
They both have the Tsundere and school feeling to it. this makes it really interesting like how they both have a boy that is so called perfect.
i like them both in terms of their genre and both main characters of the two series have similarities.
The plot is very similar and the characters are similar, for example Usui is similar to Kei because they both are cool and they like the main character which is a girl in both. And in the end the girls like Usui and Kei.
They both have a perfect guy and a hard-working girl that tries to surpass him, but is unable to. Really similar protagonists. The guy tries to show his love but the girl is too stubborn and only sees the guy as a rival. If you like one of them it's very likely you will also like the other.
Both series have a similar setting. The art is almost identical and both stories are well written (comical and easy to follow). Furthermore, both stories center around a boy in love with a girl who is obvlivious to his feelings.
Both Animes are pretty much the same. Especially when you compare it to the main couple of the story. They both have the title: Super-Human Tag-Team! And both are very funny :D
They are pretty much the same thing. One guy who is the best at everything and a girl that is second at everything. The guy likes the girl, but the girl doesn't know. Don't want to spoil it so :P
both really cute stories, I highly recomend both. So f you like a romanti comedy, I would definetely go for Special A and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Both will make you say,"AWWWWW!"
it is sooo similar how the romance goes and how dense the female protagonists are (misaki and miharu)
If you enjoyed it like me u would like this to because in away its a similar plot line because the male lead is rich while the femal is poor!
the characters were drawn similarily and both female leads have a very grab life by the horns sort of approach
Both of these animme are very similar; Almost to the point of being mirror images of each other, if it weren't for the very different settings. Misaki and Hikari are both extremely strong and independent girls(who both can't cook at all), while Takumi and Kei both exceed their respective love interests' talents.
Both are romance comedy animes with an over-achieving female lead. If you loved one, you'll be sure to love the other. There's a lot of sweet moments and hilarious moments.
Kei, from Special A, is similiar to Usui. He teases her but he actually cares about her a lot. He is also attractive, like Usui.
Both Hikaru, from Special A, and Misaki are similar because they have a tsundre personality. They're also both dense.
These series both have school life, comedy, and romance.
There's lots of romance and the comedy's great! I loved watching both animes they made me laugh...
There a only a few school life romance dedicated to making you laugh, and both of these did just that sucessfully
I liked this anime because it has so many hinilarious moments and just made me laugh but it also had the sweet romantic side too. You just can't help but root for the guy to get the girls attention and the supporting characters are awesome. They don't overpower the anime but actually help the plot along.Really enjoyed this anime and I keep going back to watch it....
these anime are similar in nearly every way. The main characters of both are nearly identical. If you like one, I can guarantee you will like the other.
when i wached maid-sama i thought 'hey, i recognize this' so i went trough the list of anime i wached and found special a. the storyline is similar, the main characters are similar and even their relationship troughout the series is almost exactly the same. if yoou like special a, you will like maid sama
There both really good and cute the main characters though are so dense! Lol love them! Both the couples UsuixMisaki and KeixHikari are so adorable i absoultly love them! Daiskui! So yeah awesome animes adore!
萨哟冉阿! Sayonara!
Music2luv212
Both have a main female caracter that is strong and very hard headed and never realise important stuff on time like the guy that have an interest in them.
They're very similar when it comes to plot points, the boy is always ahead of the girl even though the girl is literally perfect, the guy manges to do more perfect. Both very hot main guys and average looking girls.
both are fun romantic comedies filled with funny characters
there is no dark side so no seriousness
Both series include a strong mc female characther chasing an even stronger mc male character. The male characther has an obvious interest for the female, but the female is a bit dense and in denial. The stories progress in the same way, you'll be suprised over how extremily much they remind you of each other. These series will equally make you laugh your self into oblivion(sorry for the dramatic term.), and make your heart skip a beat at the romantic scenes.
I have nothing else to say but, you absolutly MUST watch both, or the other if you only have watched one of them.
It's an amazing anime that has a strong, although stubborn, female lead .
This is why I really recommend this anime to anybody who likes a female lead instead of the average wimpy (no offense)Girl who always cowards behind people. Plus the romance makes it adorable as well.
Both have strong but oblivious female leads with equally (if not more so) strong male leads that are madly in love with them. There are differences that is too be expected and I would rate Maid slightly above Special A. If you are looking for something cute, romantic, and fun both of these anime will serve that purpse
You'll like either anime if you're a fan of the man having definite feelings for the girl of the story, even before the girl realizes she has feelings these two will definitely tickle your fancy. Especially if you're a fan of a more 'mysterious' type hero than the goofy dude.
Kaichou wa maid and Special A both have female protagonist who tries to pass the main male. Mistaki and Hikari are both strong and have good grades, while Usui and Kei both have higher grades and popular with females. Mistaki and Hikari are both oblivious to the fact that the main male is in love with them. They are great anime.
They are both similar and so funny! Usui and Kei are pretty much the same in terms of personality and skills:)
The main leads are both similar and are interesting - both of them are strong and independant :) x
Both of the boy character are intelligent and good at everything . besides that both of the anime contain comedy , romance and school life .
Heroines are similar: physically strong, oblivious to affection, loyal, do well at school etc. Misa is slightly smarter though. The male leads are almost exactly the same and the main conflicts revolve around family opposition and denial from the lead.
Both Animes have main tsundere characters. Hard-to-approach girls with fighting spirit who are trying to win the game of life, one or the other way. And in both cases there's that one smart guy who keeps beating the main character in pretty much every category and confronting her with all her weaknesses.
The main male character (Kei Takashima in Special A and Takumi Usui in Kaichou wa Maid-sama!) are very similar in the sense that they are both smart and both show their feelings toward the female first. In addition, the main female character (Hikari Hanazono in Special A and Misaki Ayuzawa in Maid-sama!) are both determined characters who strive to be the best at what they do. Both animes are filled with romance, and I highly recommend both of them!
Kaichou wa Maid-sama and Special A, have main characters girls, (Hikari and Msaki) who both can't cook and both oblivious to a guy (or mulitiple guys) liking them. Hikari and Misaki both act like they dislike the main character boys (Kei and Usui) but actually likes them and work hard at school while Kei and Usui enjoy teasing them but save the girls when they are in trouble. And both animes are comedy and romance based.
Both series feature a female protagonist with some financial problems that gradually falls in love with a guy who is in love with them from the beginning. The series then focuses on their relationship and its ups and downs.
Similar feeling towards main male characters. Both females are tsunderes and well... I liked both anime very much.
Both anime feature a strong female lead working to surpass their "#1 rival." who seems to excell at everything with infuriating ease. Little do these girls know that their rivals have always been watching over them...
Both involve a girl thats in in denial but awesome and powerful. They have a really Hot guy and a crud load ton of amazing and hilariouscomedy
Special A and Maid-sama both feature head strong females who are trying to beat their male counterparts. They're different, but similar. Both girls in both series are good at sports, studying, but bad at cooking.
Both have hot guys trying to go after the main character. The setting is kindda the same and both are quite hilarious, especially the relationship between the mc n the guy.
They are both very funny and have a slice of life feel. One has characters that are older than the other but they both also have school life within the episodes.
Both are extremely funny romantic comidies that play off of the relationship between the two leads. While both female leads are strong willed, stubborn, and clueless when it comes to cooking and love they try their best when it comes to being there for their best friend, AKA the love interest and second main character.
Both of these have the same type of light-hearted humor, although I would rank Maid-sama over Special A. Delightfully kick ass female leads are both half of power couples, as well.
They both have:
Both Anime are pretty similiar Hikari and Misaki both being dense and tsundre towards their fated lover....
they both have similar character natures and both have many things in common which includes many different events taking place , also in both anime tha main character is rich and intelligent :D
The theme is similar and both are awsome anime I recomend both and hope they make more anime like this.
They are both about a smart girl and a smart guy and how they compete with eacother. Special A is more about the competition though. Maid sama has more romantic parts in it
Strong female character. Both compete with male. Hilarious. If you like one, you'll like the other.
Both in Special A and Kaichou wa Maid-sama the main girl character has super-human strength but the main boy character is stronger and does better at things.(Both main girls can't cook). But in Special A the story starts off as the main girl character wanting to beat the main boy character ,but as time passes through the story the main girl and boy character end up falling in love. In Kaichou wa Miad-sama it starts off as the main boy character finding out the main girl characters secret job. She thinks that he goes to her job because he is teasinf her but during the passing of time she starts to fall in love with him. Both anime have a story that develops into love. These two animes are one I recommend if you like either.
both anime's have very similar male and female protaganists. The females highly competitive and very strong, but not quite enough to beat their male counterparts. Both series continue along a back and forth between the main couples until they both finally succumb to the inevitable.
Both feature strong Tsundere female characters with a equally amazing male character. In both the male character seems to easy through anything that the female character thinks that they excell at. In both you find a romance that starts with friendship and competion. You also have good supporting characters in both that add to the romance of the main characters.
Bpth are about a guy watching a girl in the distance, wamting to help her and be by her, but having the girl be dense.
whene you watch secial A you feel like it hase the same atmospher bothe of the female lead are stronge and i alwayes try to beat the male lead and the romance in both of theme is light and the female are shy and cute in some way or onther
Special A is like Kaichou wa Maid-sama because they both involved a very hard headed women that are clueless about main guy charater feeling. Plus you can tell the guys in the shows the feeling but the girls dont understant yet.
You'll know what I mean when you go watch it!
Both anime are very much alike, the girl is working hard to overtake the guy, but the guy is always far off in front of her. Despite that, they have feelings for each other. the characters have very similar personalities, same art... however, kaichou wa maid-sama have more story development compared to special A. You can also compare it to Ouran High School Host Club.
They are both romantic comedies, the girls are strong but also a blockhead when it comes to love and the male leader is a smart rich boy. They are both a "Must watch".
the characters are similar and have similar characteristics. Kei and Usui are both the best at everything and the girls both want to beat them. Hikari thinks of Kei as her rival and Misaki hates Usui, while in reality both realize their love for them at the end. Both of these anime have really good humor and you will enjoy it to the fullest :) .
If you like powerful principal characters, comedy and romance, it's perfect for you!!
It's that kind of innocent love that makes your heart melt, that kind of love that you desire to really exist for you. At the same time, both of main characters are so strong, and a little bit slow in love themes. It's so fresh, I don't think anyone can be tired of this manga!!
the female leads are pretty the same in way of thinking and in both the girl is smart and strong but the hero is stronger
i just love the characters and their personalities. mostly the main characters. these are both well composed animes from which i have learned the art of love and humour. in which i love so much ive probrably become a shipper as i want to see certain people with each other as their personalities entertwine.
If you enjoyed one it is sure you will enjoy the other too. Both anime have strong leads in the female and male characters and pretty fun side characters too. They are romance stories so there is nothing original you might say, but the story is well developed and fun to watch even if you know what it's gonna happen next :P
The female leads are strong and smart unlike most anime heroines, even tho the male leads are the prince do-it-all types they serve more as support to the girls. I like the absence of ''damsel in destress'' senario. If you like strong leads, fun dialogues and romance these are for you!
Both Special A and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! are shows where the two main characters start off not liking each other but fall in love. Both are great shows I've watched both an definently recommend them.
They both have an effortly awesome rich boy and a dense poor, yet hardworking, girl (who he is interested in). There are many parallels between the two series.
The female protagonist is strong-willed and compete with the male protagonist. In Special A they compete in pretty much anything athletic, male mc always placing 1st and female 2nd while in Kaichou wa Maid-sama they compete verbally, the male mc repeatedly teasing the female after finding out her secret. The male seems to have the upper hand in each, with their weak point being none other than the female mc.
they are almost same.I like them both I think if u like it then u must watch special A
Both anime are so similar. The main female protaginist is always striving to defeat the main male protaginist. The female protaginist doesn't realize that the male likes her until usually the last episode. Now the only main difference is that in Kachiou wa Maid~Sama the male shows that they like the female at the beginning and in Special A the male doesn't tell her. If you like one of them, definitely watch the other.
EEh, i just dont know the reason but there both good!
If you like Maid Sama you’ll definitely like special a! Both protagonists of each anime highly resemble one another. There may be some slight differences but there are more similarities to both main characters. One example of the two main guys are are they are good at everything. And an example of the two main girls are them never giving up and having perserverence.
Special a focus on the love of each member when maid sama only concentrated on the love of the two protagonists. Other then that they are both really good anime!!!
It has romance and it is almost similar
If you liked Kaichou wa Maid-sama! or Special A, you'd like the other because.School/Comedy and Love story Life awaits you in both Animes.
There both the same things just with a different setting in both S A and Maid sama when the make rice balls there rock hard
Both super cute and have female protagonists that are strong willed and start off with a love-hate relationship
They're both great with a similar dynamic ..............................................................................................................
It's sort of the same kind of relationship of an unpopular girl and popular guy and she doesn't really like him, kinda hates him at first, but with way different context surrounding that situation.
If you like Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (for Misaki) or Special A (for Hikari) then you will probably like the other since both feature a stubborn, over-achieving, tsundere female protagonist. Both always seem to come in second place behind the first place guy that they keep trailing but have feelings for as well. As an additional bonus, both are voiced by the awesome English VA, Monica Rial.
It had a really similar plot line and characters so I think if you enjoyed maid sama you are bound t enjoy this comedy romance anime!
they both have a very strong and smart girl and an elegant and popular boy. Both of these anime revolves around their competitve relationship.
The two main characters are similar. The plots are entirely different, but the two characters have a similar dynamic and romantic plot.
there both about highschool students who have fallen in with each other. Also both anime's can be quite humours in many differnt ways.
they're the same thing, and i perfer maid sama to special A, but it's still a good anime to watch if you want something like maid sama and ouran
both the stories talk about the life of two teenegers that slowly begin to understand the word love . the females charaters have a lot in common for example the fact that both take the second place when it comes to exams and their determination . the males characters have a lot in common too .
Both have a female mc with unbelievable strength and spirit. The boys fell in love with the mc of their story because they were inspired by their spirit/ determination/ care. However, the boys are both taller, smarter and overall better than the mc's in nearly every way. This pisses off the girls, and as they compete with the boys, their bond grows stronger. In more than a few situations where the girl is in danger, the boy rushes in to help. Also, both the girls (Mikasa & Hikari) have similar personalities to one another. The boys (Usui & Kei) do as well.
these two anime have a similar plot direction which is basically a strong, stubborn female trying to figure out or accept that she has feelings for the main guy who is lowkey a bastard.
I agree with this. Both of these animes are amazing. I gave them both high ratings. :)
The setting is the same. It's about a girl that attends an elite high school on scholarship. Everyone there is rich but her. The artwork is similar and the heroine in both shows look alike. Both guys are crushing on the heroine--even though they are supposedly higher in rank socially or academically.
Super similar with strong and competitive female leads. Male leads are geniuses!! I love both animes bc theyre so quirky and cute <3
Special A and Maid-Sama! are romance and comedy animes that are very similar. The main female/male characters are similar in the aspect of what role they play in the story but, their different personalities/character make them each unique and their very own. The storylines are similar in the aspect of how the main male character is always a step ahead of the main female character. This rouses up the competitive spirit in the female character which makes her view the male character as a rival rather than a romantic figure. Although both storylines are similar in some aspects, each include their own unique storylines/plots, which makes the anime their own.
They are totally similar. Pretty much the same story but worse animation. I honestly might enjoy Special A more

Ouran High is a school for the extremely wealthy or, in Haruhi's case, the extremely talented. But no amount of talent will help when Haruhi accidentally drops an eight million yen vase in a music room. The vase was the property of Ouran High School Host Club, a group of attractive young men who, for a fee, provide their time and affections for their lovesick clientele: the female students. Fascinated by this strange new specimen, a poor and clumsy commoner, they force Haruhi to work for them until the debt is repaid; but they get a lot more than they bargained for...

If Takumi Usui was split a la Voltron into his constituent parts, he'd become the Ouran High School Host Club. The Bones series also features a fish-out-of-water female protagonist with a no-nonsense demeanor acting as straight man while crazy boys flit through every scene.
If you love Misaki's man-wrangling, you'll enjoy watching the deadpan Haruhi Fujioka navigate the bishie-filled Ouran.
One is Harem one is reverse harem. Both are comedic with maids and the other with a host club and a cute 'non' couple caught up in the center :3
Haruhi is strong female lead just like Misaki. Although Haruhi may lack physical strength but she has emotional and mental to make up for it. They also don't take crap from people and are very likable. Both casts are lovable and the character designs are really nice. Also a school setting.
These two got similar concept: poor but very strong-willed highschoolgirl got problem which she needs to fix by doing undercoverwork, keeping that as a secret from the others and try not to mess up the others to her personal life... somehow there's always boy/s who sees this tomboyish girl very attractive and want to know more about her...
They're light hearted with a comedic twist. If you like character development and don't mind a bit of story then these are perfect.
These titles both focus around girls that don't quite blend into their environment and have extremely hard times expressing and realizing their feelings, while focusing mainly on comedy. If you enjoyed one, you'll likely enjoy the other.
The main female characters are poor but they use that as a means of determination in Ouran High School Host Club and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! They both have to work undercover while trying to keep it a secret from everyone else. Surrounded by a crazy cast of characters though that is a little hard to accomplish.
Haruhi and Misaki, the female protagonists of Ouran and Maid-sama! respectively, are both intelligent and strong-willed females from poor families. To work their way out of a financial problem, they both end up with a secret. Tamaki and Takumi, the male protagonists, have not only similar names, but are similar in appearance, personality and backgrounds. Both anime also contain interesting characters, comedy and romance. If you enjoyed Ouran High School Host Club or Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, you'd probably like the other because both are light-hearted anime, which will have you in stitches and smiling after each episode.
Both are very funny. They both have a school setting except one is with maids and the other with a host club. Both have a strong female lead. They also don't care what people think and are likable. The character designs are also really nice.
If you liked Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, you'd also like: Ouran High School Host Club! because both animes are very simmilar in there own way for example in Kaichou wa Maid-sama! The two main girl characters Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid sama! and Fujioka Haruhi are two girl that are smart, kind, pretty and caring for others.Fujioka Haruhi are both smart girl that don't really care for a relationship with another boy but focus on their studies, and even though both girl are incredibly smart both girl are poor.Fujioka Haruhi is poor and she won a scholarship to attend Ouran High, a school for the rich and prestigious. Haruhi doesn't care about what people think of her or her physical appearences also same goes for Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Both just care about their studies and other people they may know, both girls' care for other girls. The fact that both are commoner.Unfortunately for Haruhi, her high school days took a turn when she stumbled upon the Host Club, a group of handsome guys who use their charms to entertain the women of Ouran High. Even worse was that Haruhi had accidentally broken an 8 million yen vase in the club. Unable to repay her debt with money, Haruhi found herself with no choice but to work for the Host Club, becoming a male host herself. In Kaichou wa Maid-sama! It's a little different because Misaki ends up owing Usui for keeping her secret and saving her life over and over again. You've most likely seen these two animes' before, but if you haven't, it's worth checking! Both animes are extordinary.I think Haruhi and Misaki are pretty cool (they don't care about how she looks and doesn't whine).
It's mainly because the animes both revolve around girls who are strong enough to make their own desicions. However, Misaki's strong both mentally and physically, but the girl in Ouran High School Host Club is merely strong mentally. But they're both female characters who know exactly what they want.
The characters are very different, the plot is different. A lot is different apart from the fact that both is comedy and romance. But if you like one, i bet you will like the other one. They are both two of the best animes i have seen. You won|t be disapointed.
What can I say? They both have protaganist that are extremely poor, the hard working Tsundere's, and the idol-like blonde protagonist that saves the day. Great animes through and through.
well the stories have that same feel and both shows are hilarius both stories follow a not so rich girl in highschool both main characters are somewhat tsundere, really good i highly recommend
Haruhi and Misaki are very similar in personality ^.^ though Haruhi isn't as strong as Misaki in physical strength. Haruhi and Misaki are also not as "girly" dressing but are very funny and cute ^.^ Tamaki and Usui are both "prince-like" figures too and make them really amazing. Just watch and find out :3
It's very funny, and you will fall in love with all the charcters, i suggest reading the manga on both of them if you wish to know what happens :)
Maid-sama has the "school theme with a secret" plot line but has a higher focus on the romantic side (but please keep in mind the girl is a tsundere so when i say "romantic" take it lightly) but the comedy is still purely amazing.
Ouran is very much the same but is a reverse harem (the best ive ever seen) and i can't say this maid-sama is one really. Ouran is amazing, i honestly cant describe it without giving anything away, so watch it to find out.
Overall, if you like one you'll like the other (you've most likely read that loads by now) they have the same vibe and the characters are just so loveable, non-forgetable animes. ~thanks x
they are both hilarious animes in which you will love the characters and they both fun to watch. host club is an amazing reverse harem that is hilarious. while you maid sama is but not really one but they both amazing need to watch
It has the same georgous males and funny events. You'll just fall in love with the main character because it also provides a sense of realism to the story. It also has the same "poor girl in need of help" scenario which I just love.
I loved both of these anime. They both are comedic and have the cute expressions, and there's a bit of love mixed in. Also, the main character has a secret that needs to be kept.
Similar feel and humor. In Ouran, the big thing is host clubs, while in Maid-Sama the big thing is maid cafes - both of which always consist of dressing up and trying hard to appeal to their customers. And obviously the main female leads have some similar characteristics: poor, strong-willed, and followed around by some blonde boy who loves her.
They have the same energy and vibe, while they are different. I just love how it's the same and not.
They are both about a guy who likes the girl. The girl doesn't know and it's around what they do as they get closer :D
two non-girly girls, guy or guys in ouran's case driving them nuts and they wouldnt have it any other way. guy just hopelessly in love. whats not to love?
Both are hilarious. Each of them contains a good deal of romance and a lot to laugh 'cause in both animes the girls are not aware of their own feelings. It's priceless to see Haruhi acting in a harem of different types of boys and to see Misaki and Takumi.
You'll love both!
These two have similar plots of romance and character-driven misadventures. Aside from the small plot points they share, there is also the host/maid situation that makes these two very similar. If you like one you'll certainly like the other.
The chemistry and interactions between the two main characters in both Ouran and Maid-sama is very, very similar. If that's the aspect of either show which you enjoy most, definitely check out the other show.
Both are wonderful, lighthearted comedies that poke fun at gender roles and how ridiculously people can sometimes take them. Not only is the comedy perfectly timed and woderfully executed, but the characters are, for the most part, all around well written characters. Both Haruhi and Mikasa are strong-willed leads, yet they have their own flaws and insecurities, as anyone their age would have. The series' have touching moments alongside some of the most memorable comedic scenes in anime. I highly recommend both to anyone looking for a good laugh.
Both shows follow a similar sense of humor and drag a fairly down-to-earth protagonist into some bizarre situations.
Both have an oblivious party (or in Ouran two oblivious parties) to a romantic relationship between themselves and another character.
In this case, Haruhi and Mistaki are both poor and have only one parent. Tamaki and Usui are both wealthy and are clearly interested in the female. Even though she does not notice.I highly recommend theses.
Both shows feature hard-working brunettes with secrets and their blond love interests. I don't watch a lot of shojo, but both OHSHC and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! are worthwhile series in my book. While I enjoyed Ouran more, Maid-sama! was an interesting diversion. If you like crossdressing, school festivals, and/or cosplay, give these series a shot.
both have a tender and yet funny romantic story line. also, in both animes high schools students dress up in different outfits, which causes a lot of funny incidents and just looks cool:) moreover, the protagonist are qutie similar, as they are ordinary and intelligent girls, that are loved by the people surrounding them for their personality and ability to care for others! These anime are pretty special and probably the best of a kind that you can find! ENJOY!
Both are comedy animes. Maid-sama has a little more romance in it but it won't make either one any less good. OHSHC is a anime everyone sohould watch, while Maid-sama is an romantic anime (+manga) everybody should watch.
If you are a boy you will probably like Ouran more, but I won't say that you wouldn't like Maid-sama. Most gorls will probably like both
they're both hilarious, and they both have hot dudes. The difference is that ouran is reverse harem and maid-sama has maids.
Both female main characters are unsensitive to lovable behavior of bunch of handsome guys around. And hansome guys are intrested in girl very much! Like it! :D
They both have a strong female character with a heavy pursuit by the male lead. Short sweet and to the point.
they'te both very light, cute and funny
the style of drawing is quite similiar as well
also both female leads are not the weak & easily manipulated type, they're smart and stand up for what they belive in
They're both amazing! The storylines are different, but both contain an oblivious girl being chased by multiple other guys (and even girls!) OHSHC focuses a lot on all the relationships while M-s only focuses on a specific pair.
Both have romance, slice of life, and school life issues and both are very funny. If you have watched one, you will enjoy the other.
Usui and Tamaki remind me a lot of eachother as they both have a strong sense of honor but a strange way of showing it. Misaki and Haruhi are also extremely similar in the sense that they are both strong female leads who push off the romance for as long as possible before falling hard.
I loved both of these because the characters are so well-developed. There are similar hijinks of guarding the female lead's identity in both but the stories are quite different. Overall, both just such great shows.
They are bothcute and funny animes, alsobeeing very light to watch. Both main chaacters have a fighting spirit and a determined perddonality, getting theminto troubleandfun for the viewer
They are both romance and they both involve a smart female main charactar. They are also both humourous though OHSHC has more guys involved. I enjoyed both of them very much and are 2 of my favorite animes
They are both set in high school, have strong female lead character and wealthy quirky bishounen. Usui and Tamaki! Kyaaaa! o(≧▽≦)o
They both have the same plot; they are both revolving around a high school girl with a secret only her closest friend(s) know.
No point in repeating what everyone else has already said. I thoroughly enjoyed both of these series, though I'd have to say I liked Kaichou a bit better.
has alot of romance, and the boy is soo cute. And i laughed alot. so u will like it fo sure.!
They are both halarious and feature a female lead who is oblivious to others feeling and even though they both act like tom boys they still manage to get the guys attention
Both animes are comedy romance stories. They are both funny in their own way without having the same plot. I really liked these awesome animes!!!
the story is kawaii...lol♥
makes you fall in love and feel good esp with cute, funny and hot characters
Both of them are really good but that is in my opinion. It's ironic though Haruhi doesn't really care about her gender or her job being relived though but Misaki Ayuzawa does care for job being the president. Also both Haruhi and Misaki doesn't want to be in love it's like both of them are the same person and both of them are poor. Misaki is more like the devil but at the same time is an angel when she wants to be. Haruhi is the innocent one but once you cross over to her bad side then good luck. I really enjoy them both to be honest though.
Same plot and it seems like in the anime the guy is the one who falls in love first and then the girl followed.
They have similar animations and sounds. Also their plot lines and general are pretty similar along with the way the characters act. Also, they both are school themed.
Both of these animes involve romance in a school setting. The main characters are funny in their own ways and you see the female lead characters grow and develop throughout the show.
You`ll like them both because they both have very funny content and because they both have many funny charectors that make it hard and funny for the main charectors.
They both have common elements of secret keeping, crossdressing, etc... If you like one, chances are that you'll like the other.
well they are school animes that both have great humor and not the so very serious type of romance but i know the characters are deeply inlove with them which makes things quite interesting
Both of these anime have a strong lead character that has more interestes than just boys and the male counterpart in each anime have similar personalities to each other.
thuogh they are diffrent a lot but ouran high school is kind of funny .as for kaichou wa maid sama it has more romance in it. either way you won't regret watching either.
Both are very similar in animation. The characters (Haruhi and Kyoko) act similar in that they're strong women and very dense. Both shows don't exactly have a definite story line throughout the season, but each episode has its own interesting little story.
Maid-sama is a cute and hilarious anime. If you just want to smile and laugh at the type of relationship the two main characters have, this is the anime for you. I awlays founf myself giggling at how quirky and almost amusing every little thing was. If you are looking for a light hearted anime, this is the one is a MOST!
i watched maid-sama after ouran because i missed tamaki and needed a blonde boy in my life, they are nothing alike but i got caught with maid-sama and enjoyed both a lotttttt
The premise of both shows involves a poor but determined and strong female lead with a job that they have to keep secret. Both girls' jobs center around serving or helping people, and both girls have very handsome boys that know about their secrets and are vying for their attention. Both shows are also very lighthearted romantic comedies, and have large casts full of colorful characters.
they're both romantic comedies which include cross dressing (although Ouran has a lot more). Originally, the girl is reluctant to admit her feelings for the boy--even though he realized he liked her almost right away.
They're both romcoms, with the protagonists being oblivious and the main love interests both being popular guys at their respective schools. Also, the main character has a secret that they work to hide, but only a select few know.
Both Ouran and Maid-sama have similar dynamics between MCS. Both are cutesy but also super funny in execution. Ultimately, the MCs carry similar attitudes that work well with their popular counterparts!
I agree because both of these anime have the same vibe.
The art style has the same taste and the main female leads have the same vibe, strong, independent, smart, and male lead dragging them into BS. pLUS...Both have brown hair and male lead has blonde LMFAOOOO.
The setting for both is highschool oooo yeh. Both are classics and I also high recoemnd if you're new to anime!!! muah!!
they are both solely set at school, where the boy is often the one doing all the work in terms of his crush on the girl. there is a lot of comedy in both. would reccomend.
Both Ouran and Maid Sama have a similar art style and humour, as well as a tomboy female lead. Both Haruhi (ouran) and Misaki (maid sama) are shown to be strong, resourceful and independent female leads. The love interests in both are also quite similar. Both are very worthwhile and are some of my favourite shojo romances.
Both of these animes revolve around some pretty out there charaters and both have fun and playful aspects.
Both are great stories, sadly though there isn't enough seasons for either of these, but the manga make up for those. OHSHC is great and it is a good reverse harem. Maid Sama is a great love story with a great Tsundere FL. OHSC is great, but Maid Sama is better for those looking for a wonderful rmance story.
Everyone knows that lies can come back to bite you, but when Erika makes up a fake boyfriend to impress her new classmates, the results may literally end up hounding her forever! Yes, it was dumb, but what were the odds that the random guy whose picture she used would turn out to be a student at her own school? Or that said faux-boyfriend's silence would come with such a horrible price? Now Erika doesn't just have to run and fetch at Kyoya Sata's command, she has to bark too! Because he's literally treating her like a dog, and she just has to roll over and take it, or he'll tell everyone the truth! But that's not the worst part, because even though this wolf in hunk's clothing has Erika collared, she may be starting to have REAL feelings for him anyway! Is she barking up the wrong tree, or could true love be unleashed in Wolf Girl & Black Prince?

Both shows are very simmilar. Not only the plot, but even characters are very simmilar. The boy promises to keep the girl's secret in exchange of favors. Both male characters are popular and charming but act cruel toward the heroine. I didn't like "Kaichou wa Maid-sama!" due to Usui's rudeness and sadism, but Kyoya from "Wolf Girl and Black Prince" is much nicer and more protective.
Both series have the same funny air to them. Wolf girl and black pei,ce is a bit darker but its still hilarious :D
I liked both, although nothing beats Maid Sama! Both male leads are similar, and series is a romantic comedy.
Erika and Kyoya in wolf girl and black prince are really similar to aiyazawa and usui in Kaichou wa Maid- sama. The cute shoujou romance and comedy are pretty similar. Many have pointed out that the characters even look a like. If you enjoyed wolf girl and black prince than Kaichou wa Maid-sama would also be enjoyable to you.
Both of the story lines is very similar, so if u liked one of them u will definetly like the other one
both have to do with a possesive guy and its similar in some ways. as i watched i would remember the other anime a lot, so do watch this!
Similar romance and comedy.. And strong male protagnist.. Female character is better in maid sama..
Similar themes of one person trying to get the other to like them. Wolf Girl isn't as light hearted at Kaichou but if you liked one you'll probably like the other!
i think both of the animes are similar and both are amazing. i reccomend both animes and i think you should watch these. you wont regret it.
They are both absolutely amazing!! In black prince and wolf girl there is always a suspense lingering at the end of each episode which makes you want to watch more. The plot was great to an extent...I say this because all romance amines have a theme of adding similar fights between characters and so on. However, the twist was quite funny as the Erika took a picture of a random handsome guy on the street so that she could use that picture to say that so to had a hot boyfriend. The tables turned though and it Erika found out that he was actually the so called prince of his year. Therefore. The amines contains a lot of exciting moments which made the anime enjoyable.
moving on to maid-Sama. To be frank I watched this anime ages ago just like wolf girl and black prince however this anime I had watched before. It's also romantic anime and contains a lot of funny remarks and actions that take place. For example the girl had a group of guys that follow her as they admire her and she is the president of a boy dominating school. Now you may look at this a say I like the plot and all but there is no romance. What's the meaning of this? Well don't worry!!! One guys finds out her secret and this enables him to get close to her and eventually they fall in love. Then the anime ends on a happy note. :)
Both of these Animes have that undeniable romantic comedy vibe, once you start watching you can't help but want to know what happens next
They both involve the girl getting blackmailed by the boy then them eventually falling for each other. The romantic comedy vibe is similar as well.
They both have that romance genre where the guy seems to be in more control of the girl. Also, both couples end up falling for each other.
both anime are adorible and you will fall in love with both and if you thought usi was bad think again cause a new bad boy kyoya is on the block
If you liked the anime you might like this one because both animes have hot guys which are pretty much similaras they both are the "princes" of the school and a bit saddist, cute girls and they both the girls have a secret in which the guys are involved somehow , there is also love triangle at a certain point but not throughout the series . Even I loved the anime even though it was my first so,I hope I encourged you somehow to watch the anime .
Both animes feature a blonde haired prince and a girl who has a secret. The love begins one sided and turns into a mutal feeling with obstacles along the way. Both animes are based on popular manga series, and both very tsundere. If you are fan of the strong lead with a soft side then you will enjoy both equally.
Both have blond haired main male characters. They both keep an eye out for the main female and they have a thing for masochists. Both are great anime and I enjoyed them both deeply
they both have a handsome protagonist...but the females of the shows are worlds apart. one is submissive and completely pen with her feelings, whereas the one from Kichou is strong adn confident yet total idiot when it coems to the guys feelings.. which is cute or the first x episdes but after he proffeses his love to her liek 5 times, the whole act is stupid
I loved these animes not full of romance but the romance is definatly there. I also fell inlove with the charaters mainly the boys because of their additudes.
In both cases, the relationship starts out with the female character having to deal with the annoying or demanding male character because they are keeping their secrets, but this relationship grows to love.
Wolf girl and Black Prince compared to Kaichou wa Maid-sama is very similiar.
They both begin with a popular guy, whom at first seems disinterested in the main character. But slowly they begin to like her more and more. In the beginning mostly because she amuses them but it won't take long to find out that that isn't the only reason why they stick around her.
Both have their cute, hartwarming and funny moments. if you are into romance comedy then this will be quite a fun ride for you.
i love this one becouse it gets u mad, sad, and happy its intrasting to and its all about love if u like seeing romantice ones then u might like this one two i love seeing this one
the two animes are both funny, i love how the male leads pretend not to care much at the begining but if anyone tries to approuch the female leads he would regret it. Besides both start with agreements to keep secrets(though more like blackmailing, and end with great love stories
Both follow the same girl meets boy, girl loves boy, boy loves girl but never says anything. So yeah. Watch em.
in hero has no intrest in girls who are following him but only herooine who at first shows no interest in hero but later fall for him
Both guys use the girls secrets to their advantage. Both fall in sweet love. The comedy in both is good!
Just because .......................................................................................................................................................................................
You can really relate them. Both are romance genres.Nothing more to say but i need to write 100 characters uuggh.......well you can try it(⌒o⌒)
They have simlaritys it them like how they developed their reationship but the male leads in both these animes are quit diffrent.
Watched both not entirely the same but great amount of romance. With some drama thrown in here and there. It's a good watch for any romance lover.
they both show themes of blackmail and gradual love.
they are both quite funny and are both set in a high school.
main male protagonist is protective blonde handsome and popular.
both anime have a character who is open with their emotions while the other is not
BOTH STORY LINES ARE AMAZING I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
Their story is quite similar to each other though the only difference is that Kyouya Sata is way much meaner than Takumi Usui. Both of them has soft side for their leading lady though they have trouble expressing it in a more obvious way. HAHAHA and that's what makes it much sweeter. OMG! My heart hahaha :D Anyway, both of these shoujo mangas are feels. They are completed so you will not be left hanging.
The main female characters aren't super similar, but the humor is similar and the dynamic of the relationships are similar. Both are pretty good and the drama and romance draws you in!
Both of the anime have a great love story. I really liked both of them. The female main character haits the male character in the begining, but they grow to like them when they get to know each other.
I watched both animes at the same time, they are so similar my mind got confused, I sometimes called Koyoya by Usui, They are both so popular at school. And both love to tease the female character. You will love this anime
If you like Wolf Girl and Black Prince, you'd like the Maid-sama because it has the same vibe to it. The boy is always teasing the girl. The girl stays with the guy only because the guy knows a secret that nobody else does. Then they fall in love :)
Another high school romance with one of the characters struggling to admit how they feel about the other. Both are also funny in their own way with some light hearted moments along the way.
Very, very similar types of anime. Verd similar stories. Similar characters. Everythings similar, in my opinion.
They are similar to one another in a sense. For example both set in high school and it is a popular boy for an "average" girl who slowly fall in love with one another.
Brunette female lead, blond male lead what more do you need. Ok well both male leads are sadistic and pretty possessive although Usui is more gentlemenly.
the story of wolf girl and black prince is really twisted the guy is quite a psycho but the plot turn softer at the end... As for maid-sama, it's a bit defferent but the male lead is also kind of super possessive.
They Both revolve around a girl and boy romance where there is one person (ethier the boy or girl) with a bad attetude twoards the other but work out in the end not to mention they are both really cute ships! I Highly recommend both!
Both of the Main Males of the animes are considered princes. They both catch the female in some lie that could ruin their reputation if they tell anyone and promise to keep it a secret if they do favors for them.
Both are high school shojo that have characters who struggle to get along and be honest about their feels. While in one the male character is the one who denies his feelings for the honest female character, the other story has the reverse dynamic. The female characters in both stories have a tendency to lie about secrets they want hidden and the male main characters discover and at times use those secrets to their advantage to tease the female character.
this is the first thing that came into my mind after watching wolf girl and Black prince, simular in ways of romance but verry differnt sroys and characters :3 verry recomended
Both male leads are douchebags, "rich, and charming". But when it comes down to it they care for the female lead.
Nanami used to live in a ramshackle apartment with her father - a man who spent half his time gambling and the other half hiding from debt collectors - until one day the scoundrel ran away, leaving his daughter hungry and homeless. That is, until she meets a mysterious stranger in the park who deems her the new goddess of a local shrine! Unfortunately, Nanami’s new home is occupied by Tomoe, a fox familiar who objects to the presence of a mere mortal and immediately begins to bicker with the girl. If she can manage to form a contract with the troublesome man, he’ll be obligated to accept and help her perform her duties. But there’s a catch: Nanami has to kiss him first, and who’d want to lock lips with that awful guy?!
For some reason I think that both these shows have similarities, both in drawing style (the female characters, in both, exhibit large eyes and mouthes) and character development. If you liked one, you would probably like the other.
You might like both animes and for sure there ia a lot of similarities. But if you look for exciting romance in compare Kaichou wa maid-sama wins.
I came to watch Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss) because I loved Kaichou wa Maid-sama. I was not disappointed and I immediately fell for this anime as well. Light-hearted, a bit romantic, comedy, and a bit of mystery.
they both have the main guy and main girl love and the guy protecs the girl and they have the same kind of feel ether way they are both great animes and i recomend both
I guess the two themes/genre are very similar though one is in daily life while the other involves supernatural theme. The romance factor, which is the main part of the two animes, is so sweet and I am sure you would love it as much as you like the other one.
they're diffrent when it comes to plot, but they have a very similar feel to them. they both go into character development. just trust me when i say if you like one youll LOVE the other!
SIMILARITIES:
- Both have strong willed main characters (with similar hairstyles)
- Both have mysterious, all-capable, chivalrous perverts as the male interest.
- Both have a slow developed romance (no insta-love)
- Both are as good as Nutella.
DIFFERENCES:
- Maid-sama! has a tsundere as it's MC, in Kamisama it's the male interest.
- In Kamisama the MC is the more affectionate one, in Maid-sama! it's the male interest.
- One deals with supernatural themes + high school (Kamisama), the other with maid cafes + student councils + high school
It has a similar type of love. In Kamisama Hajimemashita, Nanami loves Tomoe, but the feeling is not mutual (in the beginning). In Kaichou wa Mais-sama, Takumi loves Misaki, and their love is not mutual (at least, not in the episodes I have seen). Their both wonderful love stories, while their complexities [Kamisama Hijimemashita : Being a deity] [Kaichou wa Maid-sama : Living in poverty] enhace the story.
Funny, enojoyable and high-quality shows with an amazing story. What more could you ask for? (More episodes...but still) Both of these shows are very interesting and keep you glued to the screen until you finish an episode. I've watched Kamisama Hajimemashita twice, and still laugh or cry or feel a sense of dread for a character at the time the show portrays this emotion. I have seen Kaichou was Maid-sama! 3 times, and still love this anime. Some moments may be a bit cliche and guessable, but the way they are shown make them entertaining to watch, even if you know whats going to happen. I recommend both shows to any anime lovers.
LOVE AND ROMANCE.... :P
+ both have handsome bishounen (Usui/Tomoe) - protectors of main girls
+ female protagonists are not annoying and they have similar persolalities
+ both shows are romantic comedy (good dose of humor)
+ characters are very likable
- supernatural things in KH, but in KWM not
Both have similar drawing styles, comedy and plot development. It's not extremely love-dovey in either end, but the romance DOES progress. Although obviously Kamisama Jaimemashita contains the fantasy element and Maid-Sama! does not, you will propably like them both!
I watched and adored both of these anime. As for the characters, the female leads have strong, overbearing personalities. The male leads are sarcastic, attractive, and always Tomoe is always getting Nanami out of trouble just like Usui and Misaki. One big difference is the flip flop of relationships and feelings. In Maid-sama Misaki is the one discovering her feelings for Usui, but in Kamisama we're sitting back and eagerly waiting for Tomoe to declare his feelings. Kamisama also has a magical element, but I feel like that adds to, rather than takes away from, the relationship between Nanami and Tomoe. Finally, both of these shows have great elements of humor and focus on a relationship between the main characters that leaves you waiting for the next development.
both are lighthearted and have literal 'laugh out loud' moments while not skimping on the heartwarming romance.
Both shows have determined female protagonists who somehow end up working with guys that they don't necessarily get along with. Both have a solid plot, sweet and quirky romance, and lots of comedy. The plot lines are different but if you like one, you'll more than likely like the other.
It's kind of like maid-sama, except in this one the male character, Tomoe, doesn't want to admit he likes the female lead, Nanami. It's really a cute anime with a lot of funny moments that'll you'll just love. <3
Because YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause Yes
the emotional reactions are very similiar from both the 2 main girls. although i do like Kamisama more than Maid-sama, i find that both are quite enjoyable. I do reccomend watching both when looking for something cute, funny and a dash of highschool style romance to watch when having a few spare hours as they arent long animes to watch. i find that Kamisama has a bertter story behind it as well as some minor growth in character development. plus the OVAS are able to sum up some loose ends in some aspects.
This anime is the best! I love everything about it including the characters, the animation etc. The female protagonists is a strong willed girl. A very powerul lead. The relationship between the two grow every episode and I just love it. I sometimes wish that I could be in this Anime!!!
The Characters in both anime are almost exactly the same, so this would be a great anime!
Both feature awesome stories, loveable leads, fun, comedy, romance, and an early love declaration that ends with the confessor going off a building ^_~
In both anime's the relationship progress is really funny to watch progress and watch how to female lead and male leads get along, too. Both hook you with an amazing introduction to the anime and how the two main characters get to see one another for awhile. Then without it being rushed both main characters are with one another more often and one confesses their feelings and then fall off an building right after words (seriously). This event causes the other to care for the one more. The relationships progress and each character does cute things for the other till they both come together in the end in a really cute way.
Similar genre and scenarios. Both are widely different in their own ways but if you're a fan of one, there's a big chance you're a fan of the other (starring two strong female leads which anyone can dig as well!).
Kaichou wa Maid-sama takes a more comedic approach as compared to Kamisama Kiss, so if you are a Romance-Comedy lover, these two are great!
They both have leading characters with high quality personalities, the intermingling relationships are a real joy to watch bloom for the charisma and comedy.
both contain comedy and are whimsical.
Both female characters come from poor backgrounds in which their families abandoned them.
Both males are good looking and popular with females. They also both are well skilled in many areas.
Its a love story with the perfect amt of comedy . The male main characters have similar personalities
The plot is different as maid samas but its similar in some way tbh. The romance is v cute and definetly makes u scream in your pillow.
the relationship dynamic is very similar! i love the main characters for both shows, and they both have an interesting plot and cute theme. tomoe is a very cute fox, and in maid-sama the main character dresses up like a cute maid. love it
both heartwarming stories that develop into beautiful relationships down the line. very fun stories to follow along with
Similar main couple dynamic and stories that flow well without any forced romance. Feelings between the main couples seems to develop and progress naturally and there is always something interesting going on even without the romance aspect.
Both feature tsundere love interests and dense, exuberant main characters. Both main characters have a secret that only the love interest and maybe a few others know about.
Basically the same kinds of characters that you love in your run of the mill romantic shojo characters - aloof guy and strong female lead.
these two animes really arent similar but I would definetly reccommend if you enojoyed either one. they are both romance animes which deal with other love interests getting in the way of the main couple. however, kamisama kiss has non-human main characters which maid sama definetly doesnt deal with. but any ways both animes are oddly similar, would reccomend.

Okay, even though the plots a totally different here is why there similar. For one both main characters share the same personality. Two if they both have the cute little chibi scenes. and Three there both funny but deeo at some points.
They are not exactly similar in plots, but have a little bit similar animation and hard-working girls as main characters. Also, both are just good shoujo stories, and that's the most important thing about them, in my opinion.
I really can't think of any better recs, at least now =)
Kyoko and Misaki have identical personalities with a wide variety of characters that they meet along the way of their journeys. Although they have very different plots if you watch them both you will definitely recognise the similarities. One of which is the great chibi moments that are relevant to all the characters and the strong storyline that they tackle. Both of these anime are a must see if your a fan of comedy, romance and shoujo.
Both main characters have an event that shifts there attitude and has friends and a guy to bring out their lighter sides. Very similar in animation style.
Even though the stories are different, the main characters of "Skip Beat' and 'Kaichou wa Maid-sama' (Kyoko and Misaki) are very similar in their behavior. Both anime are very fun to watch, both a good comedy and a romantic story. They also share a similar way of animation. I think they are great, and if you liked 'Skip Beat', 'Kaichou wa Maid-sama' is a must-see for you.
Both animes have a hard working girl as the main character who hates guys and the main guy character makes her really mad and frustrated but you can tell he really cares for her!!!
Ah, life can be so hard on you sometimes! Having to worry about money problems and jobs, the fate had to create aditionally an umbelieveably annoying guy!! (two in Skip Beat!'s case) The female protagonists of both shows, Kyoko (Skip Beat!) and Misaki (Kaichou wa Maid-sama!) are both something of a hyperactive hardworking and bad-tempered girls who's main goal in life is (or was before they met that annoying guy) to somehow manage their lives. Both protagonists also strive to change to better and discover their true selves, alongside with the feeling of love, which is completely foreign to them. Surely two loving, touching and original stories that are a must to watch! The two anime add up very well and if you've watched the first one and were left deeply motivated, I strongly suggest you watch the other one as well, which will only motivate you more to crush the obtacles in your way and continue rushing forward to your dreams grand come-true debute!
I was only a few minutes into the first episode of Kaichou wa Maid-sama! when I realized how similar Misaki and Kyoko from Skip Beat! really are. Both have bright moments of high energy and intense DARK RAGES. Even the art style is similar! If you enjoyed one show, you should love the other too! ^_^
Both Misaki Ayuzawa and kyoko are hardworking and trying to do their best like Misaki Ayuzawa want to make the school better for girl and kyoko wan to act well in a show with ren tsuruga. If you like skip beat! u will surely like Kaichou wa Maid-sama and vice versa!
Kyoko is very strong female who doesn't take crap from others just like Misaki. Although the plot is far from similiar the characters are have similiar qualities.
Both are a great coming of age show that have drama and character realationships that is similiar to a good old soap opera.
These series both have a lot of obviously lovers and comedy. If you you like the awkward chase-around of love shrouded in comedy, you'll likely enjoy both of these series.
The female characters in Skip Beat! And Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Are hard working girls that are a little down on their luck. They are extremely determined and will do whatever they have to do to succeed and obtain their goal. Each involves a little bit of romance and some comedy thrown in.
The storys are different but with Kaichou wa Maid-sama the main charcter is very persistent and dont let guys get in her way in making sure she's a success in what see does same as Skip Beat. Also the animation in both series are very similar, perfect for a comedy anime ^^
Oviously there is a main guy involved in both animes where you see hints of romance along with a lot of comedy :)
These are my two most favourite animes, i assure if u like one your'll love the other ^^ High recommendations!!
If you love watching a man suffer from unrequited love, then these shows are for you. Both feature a strong-willed, dedicated, determined, and hard working female protagonist who manages to steal the heart of the most desireable man around. Unfortunately for him, she seems to have no interest in him. Although the settings and circumstances are different, the relationships between people in these two shows are quite similar and if you liked one, I'm sure you'll love the other.
If you liked Kaichou wa Maid-sama or Skip Beat then you will like the other because:
1) Both of the series have good comical aspects.
2) Both series have strong clueless female leads
3) The art is also very similar
4 ) Ren and Usui are also very similar (both are popular with women and lead the female serectively)
These two animes are kinda similiar. They've both got that kind guy, and that funny humor, and the drama scenes. The lead girls are extremely hardworking.
They both are extremely funny, although they're different funny. But in a good way.
The characters both grow throughout the series, especially in Skip Beat!
The story line is not the same but both are hardworiking girls and they know guy's they don't like but eventaly they gone like them. Further both had a sad life whit happy moments and if you want to know how it ends you must watch. ;)
Both main character looks same plus in both cases its a story about girl strugling agaist odds.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama is one of my favourite shoujo (i've already seen it 3 times xP )I just finished Skip beat after 14 hours non stop..
Both of them totally worth my time :)True fact that the storylines are different but the main characters are both girls that have had tough times and found their way out in a nice and adventurous journey!!
Just like everyone said, the plot is quite different, but the lead female charaters have the same personality. There's bits of romance in Skip Beat too! <3
It is all about guys :D And tsundere mine character makes it more like funny romantic not idioticly romantic(innocent heroine example). I like when one female is adored by many handsome guys :D
They both are the kind of "normal" feeling to them. They are not the supernatural and they have this funny and not so awekward comedy feeling to it. There in very little drama and the anime is based on the 2000 year. The drawing style is also very much alike and even thought its normal it have it's abnormal times. I think that if you like skip beat then you will like kaichou wa maid sama very much
Skip-Beat and Maid-Sama use similar types of humor, and the main male characters in also do things that just don't make sense immediately. Both of the female narrators/main characters are very competitive and determined and have a job that they don't want to own up to.
it is nice how she is trying hard to become a star(the hero of skip beat) which much reminds me of misaki who also bears everything around her and works hard despite evrything. in both animes the story progresses in a nice unexpected way which makes them worth watching.
Similiar animation and few similiar things (characters, funny moments and chibi moments). While watching this anime I had a same feeling while I watched Kaichou wa Maid-sama. I didn't think I would ever see something at the same quality as KWM again. The only thing that hurts me is that I didn't see it before :D.
Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?
If I was to make a list of the absolute best romance animes in existence, these two would own spots 1 and 2. I cannot praise either series as much as they deserve, but if you watch them I won't have to!
Each episode of both shows had me laughing until my stomach was sore, in a good way ;). Each show has an absolutely hilarious cast that suppliment the main characters very well.
Any show can make you laugh, but the real beauty of Toradora and Maid-sama lies within romantic aspect. One minute you'll be laughing like crazy, and the next you'll find yourself immersed in those little romantic moments that just put a smile on your face and give you butterflies.
Oh, and they both have a very satisfying ending. I know for a fact that if you liked one, you'll love the other. I enjoyed both from start to finish, and I know you will too! :D
This totally has tons of LOL moments and the love story is pretty close to each other. The ending in this was somewhat of a disappointment to me though, but all in all it was pretty cool how all the love changes came and took place. I'd suggest watching it if you enjoyed Maid-sama.
Each of these series mix great comedy and romance together while following a tsundere lead. Toradora is much more harem-y, and has better comedy and romance/drama, IMO, but if you like one, it is worth checking out the other.
Both anime have a strong male lead and a tsundere female lead. Not only this but in both cases the female lead acts strong but has her own problems that make her show her weak side.
Both are Romance, the girls are masculine and strong, comedy ^-^ !
Both are fun and school life !
I think those two anime similar more than any 2 anime ^-^
Both are romantic comedy animes....Higly enjoyable! The main female leads are strong and know when to take stand. Also both represernt high school life. I highly recommend the two.
These two shows both offer a great plot that is completed in a short anime series. You will be staying up saying, "Only one more!" You actually will watch until you pass out! These shows are perfectly alike in everyway!
they both have a srtong male to lead the story anda strong female lead but they all have their own problems that they start to reveal after they get to know the detailsabout the other person
Both Toradora and Maid-sama focus on school life and romance, they are both very amusing, the female leads are very similar in many aspects, and both endings are very nice. The graphics are lovely in both anime, as well.I really loved them since, although being romantic comedies and shoujos, they aren't that foolish and childish: the characters are very interesting and they develop strong and mature feelings for each other. The relationship between the leading characters has a nice development in both anime, as well, although things happen differently in each case.If you have seen and liked one of them you will most certainly like the other.
These two are both romantic shoujo series with some comedy elements, in school settings.
The main characters are very similar. This means they have some similar dynamics, but the two shows treat the relationships between the protagonists very distinctly.
The supporting casts are also very different, which means watching Toradora and Maid-sama right after each other won't be too much of the same. If you like one you should check out the other.
they are similar, both anime have tsunderes as their main protagonists, both Taiga and Misaki fell in-love with the guy they once hated, their love stories are full of surprises, that's why it's very fun to watch....
Both animes are fantastic. They have great romance and likeable characters. The females are both a bit hotheaded and competitive, while the males are calm and collected. The graphics are also great of both of them and the animes are set in modern times. I recommend one would definitely like these both, especially if they've watched the other.
I agree, Kaichou wa Maid sama and Toradora are both great romance comedies based around a Tsundere couple. I completely disagreed with who ended with what in both anime and that's even more reason to recommend these two. If you like one I'm sure you'll love the other.
Both of them have a female lead who is a tsundere, and the love stories in these animes are both very cute :)
If you like a a good romance together with a great comedy this both match.
Both couples are diffrent from each other, yet they really suit together. I can tell they aren't complet opposite and complet each other.
Both girls are strong as character and personality and let me say that's really satisfying for a change
Similar tsundere traits and amazing balance between light-hearted comedy and heavy-hearted issues. Main characters are in love but they deny it, they have fun adventures together where they are well-developed through side-characters and the environment. (:
Despite Ryuji Takasu’s gentle personality, his eyes make him look like an intimidating delinquent. Class rearrangements on his second high school year put him together with his best friend, Yusaku Kitamura, and his hidden crush, Minori Kushieda. Along with these two comes Kushieda’s best friend, Taiga Aisaka. Her delicate appearance contrasts with her brutal personality. Secretly in love with Kitamura, Taiga agrees to help Ryuji with his love interest as long as he helps her get closer to hers.
They aren't that similar but I loved both and this is my second fave anime. A major difference is that instead of the boy taking control in maid same taiga the girl takes control in toradora.
Both great series, personally I prefer Toradora but only by a fraction =) Also both over 24 eps and both have a proper ending!
Both same / similar genre. Both guys tease the girl around, as well the girls are both strong and stubborn. Just different animation but technically same / similar story & characters.
Tsundere comedy romance, It's good shit booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooye
They both have good tsundere and They have a really cool female protagonist, If you like funny romantic comedy you might like both of these, they are really funny and fun to watch I was addicted to these animes
Toradora is ike the same as maid sama it was like a tsundre likeing someone that has bee taking care of there but don't tell them
They both have strong female leads and are very humorous. They both get you into your feels sometimes and they are both very good shows.
Definitely great shows both of them ......highly recommend it . They both have interesting plot twists and great characters
Both Toradora and Maid-sama are really good romance animes that I consider really similar. Of course there are a few differences, but if you like romance animes I would recommend both.
Impassive girl meets trouble maker in a brand new love story! After Mizutani Shizuku, a girl whose sole interest is studying, is asked to deliver some handouts to Yoshida Haru, a boy who hasn't come to school after spilling blood on the first day, she finds herself the target of his affection. This is a story about a boy and a girl who struggle with love and friendship. Opening yourself up to other people forces you to be honest with yourself.
The two main male protagonists are both a little overbearing, do as they please, and have totally fallen for a female lead who seems bent on ignoring them in favor of her studies. If you like shoujo with lots of tension and hilarious conflict between a pair of characters who oh-so-obviously like each other, give these two shows a go.
I really LOVE both animes!!
Both have a guy that is madly inlove with the protagonist ( girl ) and tells her strait up front and even though she rejects them they keep on lingering around like a faithful dog until they realize that they truly can't be withought them <3 <3
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is a bit more back and forth type of anime and I found it to be much harder to stop watching it, while Kaichou wa Maid-sama! made me laugh more and had a few more light-hearted moments. Both are very good romance animes.
romantic comedyodd but perfect couple
story amazing
you would enjoy it
both series character have doubt on their emotion
but hero is always in love with heroine from the very begining
a secondary character is after main female character too and she care from him but it's not love
They are both really great series, and the couples are really cute together. The storyline is quite different, but they both have the same feel to them. If you enjoyed one, I would definitely recomend the other.
ther are a lot of simularities. you like on you'll like the other. best part is it feels fresh even after just watching maid sama
Both are about super studious and serious girls who fall for super smart and goofy guys and get side tracked. Tonari no K develops a bit faster, but you will like it if you liked Kaichou
Interesting romance but with plot and without very idiotic behavior of a girl. Male characters likable. Bookworm girls are quite intelligent.
Both are love stories between a main female lead who both struggle to maintain their top position in the school test results and the carefree male characters who ace at everything they do.
A twist is that Maid-Same focusses alot on Misaki`s part-time job where Kaibatsu-kun focuses more on the social problems surrounding Haru.
The shows also contain a good amount of humour, of which also some cheesy humour.
Both of these shows take place in a shows half of the time. The Females role in both of these are they are focus on what they want. The males are just so interesting that its fun. There both really good shows
they are wery alike, the characters have a lot of stuff in common. You have the hard studying girl and the weird random dude who does great in school for some reason, he falls for her, she ends up falling for him too
In both animes Romance and Comedy are the two main genres. In addition to that, male protagonists are popular (less in Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun since at the beginning he's known as a deliquent) and fall inlove pretty at the beggining of the story.
If you loved the Romance and the Comedy in one of these animes, I can only guarantee you you'll love the other one too !
I think you these two anime are very simular yet different, i also think that if u like maid sama this is a great anime to watch if you are into that type of romance anime and the other way around too! They are both amazing anime with very cute romance stories! :>
both are good animes. idk what to say, im quite picky with anime i watch tho. these two would be near the top for me. they both got cute boys and smart girls.
If you are a Kaichou-wa Maid-sama! fan like me, you are definetly looking for your next romance anime that is full of comedy!
My Little Monster is the only anime I have found similar to Kaichou-wa Maid-sama. The plot, animation style, and the language is quite similar. Both of these anime tell the story of a troublesome boy falling for the rather cold-hearted girl. These high school romances approach the growing relationship between the characters from a comical point of view. Their cat and dog like arguments, annoying each other yet worrying for one another is illustrated hilariously. It never gets old.
If you like romance anime that is not overwhermingly romantic, dramatic, and lovey dovey, these two animes are for you to have a laugh while getting your heart flattered a little.
The leads are so similar. The FLs are both hard-working and incredibly intelligent and the MLs are both way too much, it makes for very good comedy! Both are amazing!
I feel like they both have the same concept and comedy, they're both extremely funny and the relationships are similar in style
both animes are love stories about a girl who is rather closed off and a boy who is a practical puppy dog following the girl around everywhere she goes. I would definetly reccommend!
They both have tsunderes and studious female protagonists who want to focus on their studies or work, having no way to get themselves involved in love.
both school context, begin a relationship with somewhat contempt for the other party, then the quirky guy decides he likes her for some reason and it goes from there
Sawako Kuronuma is just like any other high school girl who wants to make friends and be useful. The only problem is she bears a worrying resemblance to Sadako from 'The Ring!' Because of her reputation, people are not only terrified of her, but small dogs even bark in fear at her presence; in fact, the only person in school who will talk to her is the lively class hottie, Kazehaya. As the pair spends more time together, Kazehaya slowly begins to bring Sawako out of her shell and soon their feelings for each other develop further. Though with her crippling insecurities, lack of social skills, and a series of cruel rumors and misunderstandings, it seems that Sawako's dream of a normal life won’t be quite so easy to obtain.
These series both focus around a girl in a strange erm... school. Furthermore, each series contains a lot of extraordinary characters and great humor. If you enjoyed one series, you'll surely enjoy the other.
Kimi ni Todoke and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Are similar to me because of the relationships between the characters. The relationships that develop in the school settings and the support system that the main female protagonist is given from the ‘hero’ of the series.
While the art style is similar for both of these series I'd say the biggest thing that stands out for me is how the guys in these anime give the leading lady a softer edge. Truly showing the vibrant colors of the protagonists.
Youll need to complete the second season aswell for these two to be similar. Theyre both school romances with lots of comedy.
They both take place at school. The guys are only interested in one girl. The set-up is the same, but in Kimi Ni Todoke both of the characters are very shy. They love each other but don't know how to express these feelings. In Kaichou wa Maid-Sama is the guy a bad boy and the girl is a strong and confident woman. But Misaki is still shy to love and doesn't want to give in. It's both about the girl experiencing love. You'll love both Kazehaya from Kimi ni Todoke as Usui from Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!
Outside the run of the mill school life romance, theres a lot of comedy and "misunderstandings." Also there is many simularities such as the artistic style of the characters and the whole "bubbly love scenes."
These anime's seem very similar. At first I had no idea why but then when I though about more I realised why. Protagonists both develops relationships with a guy with out realising and then the guy comes and changes her life. I doubt there is anyone who likes one but not the other. :)
Both stories are about a high school girl that is clueless about love. What's different is that in Kimi ni Todoke, you get to see an insecure, low confidence girl and on the other side, in Kaichou wa Maid-sama, you get a loud and active girl. However, both of them are shy and unaware of their feelings. The two love stories are so pure that you will go "KYAAAA" throughout the entire show~
It's beautiful anime about pure romance , both are great anime to improve the love and to left our sadness
one of the best love story I've ever seen
true love, not have other to disturb, i like it
I think these two are good shows for anime beginners! I enjoyed both of them so hopefully you will too!
Mei Tachibana has had neither a friend nor a boyfriend in 16 years, and she doesn’t plan on ending that streak any time soon. The outcast learned years ago that social obligations only lead to pain, and has carefully guarded her heart to keep from getting hurt. However, the girl can’t stay withdrawn forever, especially after attracting the attention of the handsome Yamato, who finds her caustic personality interesting and strives to date her after she roundhouse kicks him down the stairs. But even the most earnest of romances can be crippled by jealousy and insecurity, and this pair has plenty of both. Can their feelings for each other overcome their own emotional weaknesses, or will this love perish before it even begins?

The concept of lovey dovey is all in the air as the most popular boy and most hated girls are falling in love!Truely they compare one another, in similarties and hook-ups !
Both involve a girl unknown to love and the most popular guy in school who tries to win them over and teach them about love. Suki-tte Ii Na Yo is a lot more mature, calm and dramatic, while Kaichou wa Maid-sama! has a lot of humour to it. If you liked one, you might just like the other.
I agree with the above comments. One is more serious and rolls by kind of quick due to its short episode count and the other just has a lot more fun and just runs with it. If you like one I'm sure you'll love the other.
If you look for romance both are great choice. Suki-tte li na yo is more about relationship but I like how handsome man are there in the same idealistic way :D
They are romantic animes.both got School Theme and the girl characters had no idea that what a Relashionship is !.its kind of funny.and also Lovely
Both Anime is heavy on the Romance. You have the girl that isn't really that confident with boys. You have the boy thats VERY confident with girls.
Both centres around school and outside of school.
Both does tackle some issues that could happen in real life.
HOT BOYS ALERT! :)
Each series has similar closed off, strong leading women and handsome, protective (popular) men. They mainly differ in the social charisma, which Mei lacks here.
Both are amaxing must watch animes 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳💗💗💗💗🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨
tge romance is mind blowing
Shirayuki is a spunky pharmacist with bright, apple-red hair unlike anything anyone has ever seen. Even the prince of the kingdom she lives in is entranced by her locks, and demands that she become his concubine. Not wanting to be viewed as an object prized purely for its novelty, Shirayuki flees civilization and heads towards the forest. Here, the girl meets the charming Zen, who rescues her from Prince Raji's clutches and reveals that he is a prince as well. The two become close friends, and Shirayuki decides to return to Zen's castle with him, to pursue her dreams. But becoming a palace pharmacist isn't easy, especially since her unusual hair color and close relationship with the prince tend to draw unwanted attention...

Of course both anime aren't similar in sense of setting, but they are in their kind of love story. In both anime the protagonists fall in love slowly and sweetly. The anime spend a lot of time getting to know the characters and how they interact with eachother while we see how the main characters slowly move towards eachother and fall in love.
Another similarity is the characters of the main characters. Shirayuki and Misaki are both very sure of themselves and they are independent women just like Zen and Usui are so sure of themselves and how they go after the women.
both have greet romance stories, ones that you don't find easily. if you don't watch both you are really making a mistake
While the setting and premise for these shows are very different, these are two of the most incredible and fulfilling romance animes I have seen. In each of them, a strong willed and fiercely independent girl wants to create a life for herself without depending on others for help. The girls are talented and intelligent and carve their own path despite significant obstacles placed in their way. The main love interest is a guy who is incredibly talented, wealthy, and independent in his own right, and falls for the girl because of her drive, skills, and motivation. The main characters relationship grows as they support and encourage each other, helping each other through difficult times, while allowing the other person to stay true to themselves and their desires. If you liked one of the shows for the absolutely beautiful romance and healthy relationship, then you will like the other.
Both have strong leads, with Shirayuki being less "annoying". For me I prefered Snow White with Red Hair's male lead, as he felt a bit more realistic and acted like someone his age. Usui and Misaki are still cute tho. Though I don't know if I'm being biased because SWWRH is my favourite show.
I adore this anime! Contains complex characters driven by more than just romance, and the music, voice acting, and animation are fantastic, too. Compelling as both a romanch and adventure anime.
Both these shows are super good and the couples are SUPERRR CUTE!!! I highly recommend both shows!
A hard-working independent main character, a wealthy love interest, even if Snow White isn't settled in high school, it still shares a few similarities.
