HENNEKO - The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat

Rumors tell of a Stony Cat statue that grants a special wish: it will take one of your disliked personality traits and give it to someone in need. Two students arrive at the Stony Cat eager to make a change – Youto, an unabashed pervert, wishes to remove his façade and be able to speak his true feelings, while Tsukiko desires to hide her expressions and be more like an adult. However, little did the pair know that their prayers would be answered in unexpected ways – Youto begins to speak the full, embarrassing truth with brutal honesty, and Tsukiko becomes visually stoic, unable to smile, laugh or cry! To make matters worse, Youto soon runs afoul of the beautiful school idol Azusa, the girl who inherited his unwanted façade. Together, the three slowly become friends while Youto and Tsukiko try to regain what they've lost.

They both look very similar and have a way with Magic, both are very strong on comedy too. The main guy is a pervert and theres a cute and quiet girl, both of which Rurumo and Henneko have. I see a huge amount of similarities, and i reccomend watching both of them if you enjoy either of them.

Stoic female, perverted male and supernatural happenings. Both shows do indeed seem very similar. As someone who enjoyed both, I can vouch for this recommendation.

Maria the Virgin Witch

Maria the Virgin Witch

Maria is a young witch living in France during the Hundred Years' War. She despises warfare and does everything in her power to stop the violence, but her good intentions are not always appreciated. Many people see her as an interfering interloper; and the church, fundamentally opposed to witchcraft, has decided that Maria is a sinner in need of redemption. To make matters worse, agents from Heaven have started bothering her as well, displeased with her use of magic to influence humanity's free will. The archangel Michael finally forbids further interference with earthly affairs, and decrees that if Maria ever loses her virginity, she'll lose her powers as well! He sends his agent Ezekiel to keep an eye on the virgin witch and keep her out of trouble, but constraining such a free spirit to the laws of heaven might be a lot harder than he thinks!

Both series have the main character as witch but not the typical witch you would think of. The stories seem to be a tad different but if you like the main character of Junketsu no Maria then you'll like the main character in Magimoji Rurumo.

The way both series are different is Junketsu no Maria seems to be more focused on a witch who hates wars and seems to fall for a guy who kisses her hand. Magimoji Rurumo is about a guy who saves Rurumo and falls in love with her.

I'm sure that if you like one series you'll like the other.

*I'll edit this as more episodes of Junketsu no Maria are aired because I'm sure it will have more in common with Magimoji Rurumo by the time it finishes it's run.

Similar premise: a horny high schooler comes across a stoic/deadpan magical girl (an angel or a witch) who has the ability to grant any wishes and becomes her master for one reason or another. Lots of ecchi moments in both but HLP is cruder.
