Both of these reverse harem anime are about a young woman trying to connect with a group of male classmates in order to do some large function at the school. In Kamigami, it's to connect with their human classmates, in Magic-kyun it's a school festival. Both give each guy some one on one time with the lead, feature some surprisingly similar male types, and are visually very colorful. If you liked the magic and romance in one, try the other.

KonohaNinja16 KonohaNinja16 says...

Both female leads are very determined. They form friendships with the guys and try to get them to join the rest of them. Yui Kusanagi tries and gets all the boys to attend class and Konoha Aigasaki tries to get the rest of the boys to attend the committee meetings. The atmospheres are both similar and they are very colorful. Both girls attend a new school. They each help the guys to figure out or learn something new.

However, this is no gleeful high school musical experience, and Haruka’s hiding a dreadful secret that may silence her musical ambitions forever. The protagonist has just begun school at a place where talent is the grading factor. No more science and math; performance and sheer talent rule here. She ends up connecting with a wide varietry of men in order to make her debut. She starts off rather clumsy with her work, but she's got her reverse harem to guide her. If younliked the singing and dancing and ge eral flamboyancy of one, check out the other

The whole atmosphere is veeeeery similar, especially in terms of the soundtrack and determined main character.

The main similarity is that both of these are reverse harems that like to focus on the individual talents of each of their characters.

Also, art, determination, and self-improvement will be found in both.

Magical idol boys is what brings these two anime together. Both anime are set in a school-type atmosphere where the boys shape their talents. While one only has magic during the Dream-Fes, the other has magic whenever the boys perform. And perform they do. If you liked the music and comedy/drama of one, go check out the other.

UtaPri (in general) and Magic-Kyun are both musical-type animes. I absolutely adored the music in both of these. The main character enrolls in a new school and tries to find her place in the school, which eventually leads to them becoming successful.

If you're like me and fell in love with Mikaze Ai, his voice actor Aoi Shouta voices Tsukushi Monet. Both Tsukushi and Mikaze are the quiet, tsundere types. If you love one, you'll definitely love the other.

The symbolism in these two are just amazing, we have SSR that shows human emotions through the colors of the gem hearts like love, friendship, loyalty etc. It also shows the complexity of emotions, that there isn't just one color of heart and not all emotions make people happy or benefit them, sometimes it can hurt one instead.

In MKR the "sparkles" are like the depiction of how a person shines when they are just genuinely loving something. Take for example a singer that sings with all his heart and the people around him just see him shining and are moved in how much he invest himself in his passion.  It also has the other aspect about passion (struggles and hesitation etc.).
