despite obviously different age ratings, these two have nearly identical premise: as the humanity kept growing in numbers and expanding its domain, spirits were forced out of their homes. in modern days, some spirits try to peacefully coexist within the cities, the others harbor hatred towards humans. in both there's an organization founded by spirits themselves in order to preserve the balance. the central character is a human member of said organizetion, granted with supernatural powers, who ends up in a fierce battle against a group of powerful spirits wishing to take back what used to be theirs. both have amazing animation and directing of action scenes.
Natsume's Book of Friends

Similarities:
Your Name. and the legend of Hei are very similar in their world building:
Both are extremely wholesome movies created in a way that draws you further into their world. With their music, lovable characters, and nostalgic world building you can get lost in their worlds.
They are quiet, subtle movies that, Studio Ghibli films, perfer to world build through visually satisfying scenes and sounds.
They also both take place in Japan cities for the most part, there's a lot of country and forest sites as well. In addition to this they both have connections to Japanese culture and beliefs.
Differences:
On the other hand, while the Legend of Hei's story morals mostly focus on the changing world and our influence on it, Your Name. focuses on time quiet, undiscovered love, time fluctuations (for the most part), and other out of body experiences.
The legend of Hei can be considered very fast paced as well, concerning its adventure and action packed story. I would consider Your Name. on the other hand, a cultural drama, and adventure.
I'd give both a 10/10 review in all categories and can't recommend them enough.

They soon learn that Papadoll has been captured by the spoiled and cursed Princess Buburina and is being used to wreak havoc. Toriyasu is skeptical at first, but when Miiko is taken hostage, he decides to cooperate with the cats to stop Lady Buburina, and rescue Miiko and Papadoll before the next sunrise!
