Rin is an energetic girl who loves to eat, lives in a verdant frontier village. Deep within the royal palace in the bustling capital city, the songstress Finis spends her days in solitude. Both share a special power no other person has. A miraculous power that can heal wounds, create water and stir the wind -- the power of song. Guided by destiny, the two young women each face an arduous journey with the power of song. The shadow of war looms over the kingdom, tainting even the miraculous songs with the blood of innocents. Loved ones meet their deaths as silent screams echo through a stone prison. As two destinies intersect, will the final song be one of despair, hope or...?
I admit, I was dubious at first, particularly for the first three episodes. But others here has recommended sticking around until around 7, so I did. Best decision ever. If you're on the fence about this anime, try and make it to there - it's worth every second. Also, if you usually skip the intro and outro, you may want to change that habit for this one. You won't miss anything important for the show, but it defintiely adds to the tone. They really had an eye for detail that you wouldn't suspect from the start.
i honestly loved it from the very beginning, and never found it boring. The music is REALLY GREAT and makes you feel something in your heart, the characters are lovable, the animation is good too. My only complaint would be that the timeline of events is confusing, you start getting confused about it in episode 7, it wasn't well explained. Overall if u love music u really should give this one a try.
