Live on Cardliver is essentially Yugioh + Pokemon, so this recommendation should come as no surprise. Both have stat-displaying and towering monsters summoned from cards, battling each other in impromptu locations.

While many titles out there mimic Pokemon, most aren't as good of a pairing as it and Live on Cardliver. Both have an overly eager protagonist and plenty of proxy battles (cards and pokeballs), and the tone and feel are more lighthearted than most of these shows. There's enough shounen action to appeal to fans of either title.

Inazuma Eleven

Inazuma Eleven

Raimon Middle School's soccer club is led by the boisterous and determined Mamoru Endou. Armed with his grandfather’s notebook on special training and a fierce spirit, Mamoru desires to lead the team to victory, but there’s just one problem: the team is weak, unskilled, and disheartened. However, when several new members come on board, including soccer star Shuuya Gouenji from Kidokawa Seishuu Middle School, things begin to look up for the team. With ruthless opponents to defeat, special moves to acquire and the Soccer Frontier tournament to win, Mamoru and the gang will kick and block their way to victory!

Admittedly, Live On Cardliver is a card battle anime while Inazuma Eleven is solely sports, but they both have a very, very similar feel and I'm almost certain they'll be enjoyed by the same audience. Each is stereotypical shounen fare with an overly eager protagonist and plenty of glorified battles (whether on the field or with monsters). Try it on for size.

Alongside newfound friend Kenta, a Beyblade repair store's daughter Madoka, enemies-turned-friends and more, Ginga will battle fierce rivals, challenging opponents and even the one who caused great tragedy in his past - all on his way to becoming the best Blader of all!

Live on Cardliver Kakeru doesn't deal with tops, but both it and Beyblade have a similar mood/feel, are clearly aimed at the same audience (young boys) and are stereotypical shounen/battling series. If you liked one, give the other a try.

While Live On is more fantastical with monsters, both it and Cardfight revolve around card battles and are aimed at a younger shounen crowd. If you like the 'I can't lose!' attitude of one, try out the other.

Live On Cardliver deals with cards, but both follow young people as they battle it out with various games. If you liked one, try out the other.
