If your lazy (like me) and don't feel like reading just scroll to the bottom of this review, it sums everything up. Ok, so I get how some people may think that this is just one of those 12 eps animes where the ml is op and gains a whole harem. And well, for the most part they are correct. However I did enjoy this one more then the others for a cuple of reasons. Liar Liar is a silly fun goofy anime that can entertain you from start to finish. Taking place on Academy island, where matches are done through games, and being quite the event to boot. It even gets you thinking, in the grand scheme of things, of how, and who is actually lying here. But to be perfectly frank, to touch on the characters, it honestly really comes across as the most goofy of 'academies' which only adds to the show's good points. If they were as bland as dishwater, the show wouldn't be at the rating that it is.So te goofy shenanigans really push it far, with a wide range of interesting characters, to really showcase the in depth of that. Good stuff. Plot: (7/10)A guy came in an island to attend a kakegurui type school and accidentaly ended up in a fight with a girl with empress reputation he beats her by accident but he is the lowest rank so now he has to either lie that he is in the highest using some plot convinient "power" or the girls grandpa would do bad staff to him if you get what i mean. Turns out it was a lie he became the highest rank for no reason and now has to keep this lie alive or he goes back home (his grades are so terrible normally he wouldnt be accepted) and in order to do it he needs to win games the students challenge him to by cheating.Animation: (7/10)its ok Sound: (7/10) Characters: (6/10)they arent terrible but not good either they are just there the show either needs more time to develop them or they will stay like that idkOverall: (7/10)if you are a fan of kakegurui or no game no life you should check this out its not on their level but its definetely fan Bad points Imagine if you will No Game No Life, but only the protagonist cheats instead of everyone exploiting the ten absolute rules of the world in creative, subtle and ingenious ways. Imagine No Game No Life where all the characters have been dumbed down to the level of morons just so the protagonist can appear smarter like in Classroom of the Elite. Imagine the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh where rules can be made up AND broken at any time. That’s Liar Liar. A convoluted mess of situational conveniences and contrivances. Summary If your looking to pass some time and are easy to pls Liar Liar is a good show for you. The anime has some humor points but is kinda boring at the beginning but gets better at the end. oh and the animation, sound, and characters are pretty good (can't find anything really wrong about them).
