Dog days and Zettai Bouei Leviathan both take place in a fantasy world where the stakes seem unusually low. Both series have a lot of ''cute'' girls doing things. While dog days has a male lead unlike Zettai Bouei Leviathan. Dog days has more varierty and a more well known voice-cast.

Karasune Karasune says...

Lots of non-human cute girls doing non-human cute things in a fantasy world with magic and not much of a real plot. If you want something fluffy and bright with nothing much going on, these are two great candidates. Dog Days has a bit more 'substance' with the whole war thing going on (although it's not serious in the slightest), but if you liked one, you may take interest to the other.

Brad Brad says...

Plenty of non-human girls running around in a fairly dull fantasy world, doing cute thing and generally acting pretty girly. Both contain a pretty boring plot with little to nothing at stake in the grand scheme of things.

Dog Days perhaps has a little more to it with it war games premise, but it's pretty marginal as both have a distinct lack of, well, anything going on most of the time.

Both amount to what they are at the core: Cute girls, doing cute things. One shows girls are magic, the others are robots, but they're fundamentally the same, and that's what makes them good shows to watch if you liked one of them.

Astarotte's Toy

Astarotte's Toy

Lotte, the princess of Ygvarland, hates men - a fact that ordinarily wouldn't be a problem given she's just a child. There's just one issue: the girl is a succubus that must suck the life seed from the male species or die! Now approaching adulthood, Lotte must learn to tolerate the opposite sex, but her royal highness won't have any of it. That is, until Judith, the girl's lady-in-waiting, brings Lotte a human boy to the demon world. This unfortunate young man, Naoya, must now open the princess's heart to his gender, but as caring and considerate as he may be, he'll certainly have his work cut out for him!

Both series take place in a fantasy world and have casts largely or only consisting out of girls. While lotte in a strange harem type of anime it still presents many the same tropes as Zettai Bouei Leviathan often implemented better. Both series are very bright and colourful, using primarily bright colours in their colour palets.

Koihime Musou

Both series feature girls who fight off injustice or rather are supposed to but instead spend their time on sidequests. Both shows possess gratious shameless fanservice. Koihime Musou is only slightly heavier than Zettai Bouei in terms of displaying female flesh. Though it does heavily overuse ''breast physics.''

Battle Girls: Time Paradox

Battle Girls: Time Paradox

Hideyoshi is a typical middle school girl, concerned with fashion, trends, and boys. So when she is transported back to the warring period of Japan, culture shock doesn't even begin to describe her reaction! In this world, the inhabitants are only women, and this gender bending take on Japanese history sees Oda Nobunaga seeking the Crimson Armor in order to rule the world! But she'll need Hideyoshi's help to do it in Battle Girls: Time Paradox!

Both series feature girls in a fantasy world with mostly medieval technology. Both series are not afraid to portrait their female characters in only their undergartments and both series have about the same general quality and depth to their characters. If you managed to like either I'm sure you could manage to like the other somehow.

If you managed to like Zettai Bouei Leviathan you might possibly like Yumeria as well. Both use very bright colours and have mostly female characters on screen who are dressed in tight and/or revealing clothing.

If you're looking for another action/comedy set in a fantasy world, try Konosuba. While the premise of both are not similar, the setting feels farmilar. Plus, Konosuba is a HUGE improvement over The Last Defense, I highly recommend it!

AardvarkRex AardvarkRex says...

Both are CGDCT shows set in a fantasy/RPG-like world revolving around a party of adventurers of different classes and abilities (warrior, water user, mage, etc). Leviathan feels more like an actual game with the girls completing various quests and powering up in the process, while Endro focuses more on comedic moments and character interactions.

Both are set in a fantasy world with cute (dragon)girls for protagonists. Leviathan is more action oriented, while Real Estate is (mostly) comedy and has more fanservice.
