There are seven stars of destiny in the sky, each one linked to one of the seven great champions. Of these stars, Tonrou, the North Star, and Hagun, the South star, shine brightest. Those who are marked with these opposing stars are destined to fight each other to the end. The remaining five strive to prevent the chaos that would come from a battle between the Hagun and Tonrou. Keirou, the ambitious general of the imperial army is the Tonrou, and he will stop at nothing in his conquests until all falls before him. Taitou, a carefree swordsman is the Hagun, and he remains unaware of his destiny until Keirou invades his town. In the aftermath of the destruction, Taitou accompanied by his sister Laila and the fellow star-marked Ryuukou set forth waiting and training for the day they face Keirou again.

Horobi no Ko starts with a flash back to Riki's childhood displaying the terrible fate of his mother and how he himself was taken away from his twin brother Nachi during a game of hide-and-seek, with Nachi's plaintive cry haunting him through the years. Riki has a six-pointed star emblazoned on his hand, while Nachi has a swastika on his, the significance of which go unexplained. Riki finds himself in the town of Misaki, dotted with illegal nuclear power plants and run by a religious fanatic military organization called God's Judgment. He is taken prisoner and made to fight in gladiatorial matches in a sprawling arena. He finds his brother, whose special powers have given him the name of "Savior," but his reunion with his resentful sibling turns sour rather quickly.

During his prime, Keybo Miyazawa's father fought the legendary Iron Kiba. Though they came to a stalemate, Kiba lost an eye and has held a grudge to this very day. Now, in the present, Keybo is the successor of the murderous Nanshin Shadow Style, which can easily kill a man where he stands. His father trains him well, but soon Kiba reappears and the two decide that Keybo and Kiba's disciples must battle to put an end to their feud. With many opponents in his way and no end to the feud (or Kiba's hatred) in sight, Keybo must deliver blow after bloody blow to clear his family's name and uphold the Nanshin Shadow Style.

Since the activation of the Death Force program, mankind has virtually been wiped off the face of Jerra by brutal, flesh-eating war machines. A pocket of survivors live inside an island fortress led by Krauser, a MD (Most Dangerous) soldier. However, unlike MD Geist who lives only to fight, Krauser is motivated by his own ambitions for fame and power. The final battle between Krauser and Geist approaches, and with endless machines on their trail, there appears to be little hope left for humanity.

On one such planet, Jerra, a brutal war began between the Jerran army and the Nexram - those who opposed a galactic Earth government. To combat the threat the Jerran army created the MDS - Most Dangerous Soldiers - who possess elite fighting abilities. However, one such soldier, MD Geist, was deemed too ferocious and imprisoned inside an orbiting satellite. Now, in the present, both sides have been decimated and the planet lies in ruins. After his satellite falls to the planet, MD Geist wanders the wasteland once more. And after killing the leader of a powerful gang, Geist finds himself in the company of a woman named Vaiya. Together, the two join with survivors of the Jerran army and set forth on a quest to exterminate Death Force - a doomsday device built by the Jerrans - before it activates.

Together, the gang fends off Simeon’s attacks and tries to discover the truth behind the corporation’s actions. What is Simeon really after, and why do they desperately want to find Fragments?

Now, Jun and an unlikely companion - the giant Violence Jack - will try to put a stop to Hell's Wind and rescue Keiko!
