If you liked the wacky antics of Piyoko and the gang, you'd appreciate one of the best random comedy anime out there: Papuwa. It's even more spazzy and ridiculous, and IMO, better. Just make sure to watch the dub (I know, I know) because for once it spins circles around the original.

Gag Manga Biyori is another wacky, off the wall comedy anime that you may enjoy. I strongly prefer Di Gi Charat, but you should try it on for size.

Tokyo Pig

Tokyo Pig

Spencer is a typical third grade student with a not so typical ability: when he writes entries in his diary, they come true! In addition to causing his family to eat fried pencil balls for dinner, Spencer makes the ultimate mistake when he writes about a horde of flying pigs. And though he’s able to erase all of them from existence, one of them slips through the cracks and remains a reality! This pig – which Spencer dubs Sunny Pig – becomes Spencer’s companion in his everyday adventures. From trying to stop Spencer's father to cooking dinner to solving the disappearance of a local weather reporter, there’s plenty of fun times to be had in the life of this wacky family!

Meet the perverted Dr. Insect who, instead of educating the world about dragonflies, is more interested in stripping off his clothes and torturing a small boy with unfair multiple choice quizzes. Meanwhile, ever wondered how to get an apology out of an unwilling yoga instructor, or what actually happened to Inou Tatadaka while he was trying to draw the first accurate map of Japan? With famous detective Usami-chan continuing to uncover the many deviant crimes of that panty-obsessed Kumakichi and a paranoid manga artist contemplating sushi contact lenses, it can never be said that life is dull.

The lupine detective Usami-chan is back, and ready for her next cases! Unfortunately, they all involve a perverted bear who steals socks and can’t keep his pants on, but who cares?! Meanwhile, a father-son pair can’t wait for a female tutor to arrive at their humble home, but keep getting tricked night and night again; the offer of a housewarming gift goes terribly wrong when it is discovered to be only rocks and grass; and plenty of other wacky antics abound!
