I can't really write an in-depth review for this show because, to put it mildly, it's incoherent. Nevertheless, it's charming as hell, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. There seems to be a coherent story lurking in the background, but the pieces are scattered and the bits that I got weren't motivation enough to try and sort everything out. If the upcoming series can make this mess sensible then its rating could easily go through the roof. To give a simple summary for those interested in seeing what Kyousogiga is actually about, the story follows (mostly) a young girl named Koto who appears to have fallen through a portal into a strange world. The girl is raised by strange spirits and a wayward monk, and becomes an enourmous troublemaker, often causing a huge racket during amusingly overblown fights in the middle of the city. The story is delivered in a non-linear fashion, there's scraps and bits of different bits all over the place. It's almost like they made a full series, then took out every other episode and put what was left in a blender, then published it. If you're looking for plot then be on your way, but if you just want some pleasant nonsense then Kyousogiga has you covered.
