if you enjoyed Princess Princess for its humor and comedic actions, you'd also enjoy Kyo Kara Maoh (or vice versa). Both gives the same feeling of a light atmosphere sucking watchers into it with its plot and drool-worthy bishounens! another reason why these are roughly the same is because of its hinted shounen-ai between the main character and one of their friends.

try watching the first few episodes of Kyo Kara Maoh (or vice-versa)and you'll definitely know why i believe these two have the same light-hearted undertones. :3

The main characters of both are rather headstrong, reckless, but pure in heart, and that's how they end up with their hero status in their fantasy worlds.

Both Kyo Kara Maoh! and Meine Liebe have a cast mostly consisting of attractive male characters.  They also both have hints of shonen-ai (more so in KKM).  While Kyo Kara Maoh! is more a comedy and Meine Liebe is more serious, chances are that if you like one you will probably like the other.

If you like Yu Yu Hakusho or Kyo Kara Maoh! you would probablly like the other because both are about teenage boys who find out they are supposed to be demon kings. Both titles keep you on your toes wanting to see more, as well as both being quite adventurous. Kyo Kara Maoh! does not have as many fight scenes as Yu Yu Hakusho but if you like one your sure to like the other.

I recommend these because the main protagonists are in very similar situations. They have recently found out that they are the descendant/reincarnation of a very powerful individual. However, tapping into that power isn't their greatest ability. So, they have a very special group of bishounens to protect them. With magic, ancient powers, and plenty of fighting, these animes are fairly similar.

Loveless

Loveless

He is entirely alone until Soubi appears, saying the words he most wants to hear, but refuses to believe: “I love you and will do anything for you.” Flung into a world of intrigue and magic, where bonded pairs battle and only Soubi can fight for him, he struggles to find his brother’s killer. Yet he must also face the most bitter question of all: if you can't remember who you were, does that mean you don't know who you are?

Both animes have something to do with fighting, but that's not the only reason why they are similair. They both have some shounen-ai hints. Yuuri and Wolfram (KKM) are engaged and they sleep in the same bed, but you never acutally see anything. Loveless has a lot of sexual hints, like how children lose their ears if they have sex. Soubi says he loves Ritsuka constantly, but nothing really happens, even thoug it's clear they have chemistry together. If you liked KKM and don't know loveless yet, you do have to keep in mind that Soubi is a great deal older than Ritsuka.

Both anime involve the main character accidentally going to the demon world, and finding out that they are of great importance to this alternate world. (Yuri being the Demon King, while William is a descendant of king Solomon)

They also both have shounen-ai tendencies, without being a shounen-ai.

These shows are strikingly similar! Both subvert a lot of Isekai tropes with an underdog protagonist and a heavy focus on friendship and found family. It's also easy to draw comparisons between the supporting cast of both series. Without getting into spoilers, the main characters also share some traits and abilities that make them excellent lead characters.

Okay, thinking it's not the same, or, how can it be the same?!

Well, in the low terms, they are similar. Yes, how?

If you have watched after episode 50, then have you noticed the actions of Shinou? And how Murata says, after looking at Shinou's portrait, "He is a selfish kid" What I believe and I'm sure, Shinou and Rakugetsu are with the same disastrous personality, mighty and mysterious. So, yeah. Shinou and Rakugetsu are the same.

Now, the same way, Murata, who's actually the grate sage, is also very much like You Nei. You Nei was a kind of advisor to Rakugetsu, and Daikenja, the great sage, is also.

Now you might think these are character similarities, but seemingly that they have a very high focus in the story, so what I related is correct.

Rakugetsu and Shinou. You Nei and Daikenja, both pair have a main role in the story. Meaning, the story is ascending to them.

And also, the setting, and theme is also quite matchable. Both have funny, cute bishounen male characters and MLs. Both anime are super great, if you watched one, you'd definitely love the other!

But this is just fine by Sei, who leaves the royal palace to set up shop making potions and cosmetics with her newfound magic. Business is booming, and this might not be such a bad life, after all…as long as her supposed Sainthood doesn’t come back to haunt her.

Both are accidentally pulled into another world where they turn out to be very important. They both have strong powers that they don't know how to unlock at first and, in their own way, they both are a target. Saint's Magic Power is less antagonistic than Kyo Kara Maoh and the main character of Saint's Magic Power settles into the world around her and her life more easily.
