Both protagonists are sent to another world, a fantasy medieval one plus, they are  surounded by girls. Though the protagonists are a bit different. KONOSUBA is definitly not as dark of a story line than Re: Zero but they are both enjoyable. They both have romance too.

Both anime feature a young man finding himself in a different world. In Japan, he was a shut-in that played RPGs, so he thought he knew what to expect. But actually living in this new world is nothing like he imagined. Both of these anime take the RPG style and make the protagonist one of the physically weakest cast members, allowing a lot of plot development. If you like one, try the other.

both are excellent takes on the trapped in alternate world genre that was desperatly needed and challenge cliches

both also have excellent cast of characters

Both animes are comedy, adventure isekai in a fantasy world. But they are also total opposites that could balance each other quite well.

YuriZero YuriZero says

Both are good comedies based on the MC being transported to another world and given "abilities", similar to an RPG setting, and then they have to survive and make their own lives again from scratch. If your sense of humour allows you to enjoy one of the two, then you will most likely enjoy the other as well.

FullmetalDragon FullmetalDragon says

Both series are isekai that feature quirky comedy, a weird cast, and all round ridiculousness.

Although there is only currently one episode out, these two anime remind me a lot of each other after just that one episode.  It could also be due to the fact that they are directed by the same person.

Princess connect and Konosuba are both similar styles of animation, and they both have a main character with moments of strength and strong, but flawed supporting characters. The difference lies in the fact that Konosuba's characters are a little more... charismatic.

Very similar anime, so if you like KonoSuba or Princess Connect you will like the other one.
