Let me set a scene for you: you're watching a comedian you quite like, and after getting up on stage, they make a joke. It's pretty good, so you do a little snort, while you wait for the next joke. But instead, the comedian tells the same joke again. You're a bit confused. The joke was okay, but they already told it, and it's sure as hell not getting better with age. And now they're telling it again. And again. The same joke, same delivery, over and over again, until you begin to consider plucking out your own ears as a good alternative to hearing it again. 

This is, essentially, the experience of watching Konosuba. Apparently, the writers noticed that there were a ton of isekai anime, and decided they wanted to write a spoof of the usual isekai formula. The problem, is that instead of developing a plot that deconstructed the genre, or at the very least poked fun at the whole variety of tropes associated with the genre, instead wrote down every stereotypical plot point, and just wrote the opposite of that. 

So get ready for two seasons of a plot that was only barely subverseive at first, and just plain boring after 20 episodes. Just because it's technically altering from the path of stereotype, doesn't mean it's good, and Konosuba just isn't that good. If you really want subversion of isekai, shows like Shield Hero and Grimgar have that, without being grating. So all that Konosube really brings to the table is a dead horse, and a large paddle it plans to use for beating. Like it plans to hit the dead horse with a whole variety of paddles, to make sure that horse is really and truly dead. There's no chance of that horse surviving, cause even if it were dead, Konosuba would still be going at it. Do you see how tiring this can get? 

STORY

Basically, this is another boy trapped in magical world. This is a comedy, so don't expect anything about the plot. It's stupid. Who confuses a SLOW MOVING TRACTOR for a TRUCK, and SAVES A GIRL FROM BEING RUN OVER? AND DIES OF SHOCK? (The last one is plausible) but it's a comedy. It's not supposed to have plot. It's supposed to have "plot".

CHARACTERS

In my opinion, Kazuma Satou's character is well made. A NEET, kinda fit for some odd reason, mean to the girls, can be nice if he wants. In the words of Megumin,

“I love this uncomposed side of you, Kazuma. You have a lot of self-awareness, and when we meet some powerful enemies you won’t try to be manly or anything and protect us girls. Instead, you willingly use Darkness as a shield. Also, you don’t have the guts to do anything cruel, but you aren’t needlessly righteous about what you do either. You’ll do bad things when no one is looking, and you’ll do good things when you feel like it. You are a paradoxical, uncomposed normal person. If you’re in debt then you’ll work hard, if you’re wealthy then you’ll stop working. If you’re in a good mood you’ll be gentle, if you’re in a bad mood then you’ll be vicious. You seem to think about your companions, but at the same time you’ll won’t hesitate to give your party members the short straw. Even though you seem really smart and flexible, sometimes you’ll do some unimaginably dumb things… Finally, I love you, who always complains about every little thing, but chooses to help everyone in the end. Even though you aren’t straightforward with us, I understand that you are truly kind at heart. When it should be time for you to make a move, you decide not to – just like you are now. You can’t act cool, and you drop the ball at crucial moments, but that is the you that I love.”

BASICALLY ONLY WATCH IF YOU WANT COMEDY BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LIGHT NOVEL

NOTE: This review may contain spoilers!

Story: 7/10 - The story and scenery of the anime reminds me of Runescape. It makes me think they are either in Lumbridge or Tutorial Island. They get to take on really cool quests and receive rewards that can help them survive. There's not a lot of plot development (yet), but I have a feeling that there is more to come in the future.

Characters: 7/10 - I always feel bad for Kazuma, especially when he has to deal with Aqua x). Aqua can be annoying but powerful, (DARKNESS) aka Raratina can be pervy but she's brave & Megumin is so cute, powerful but needs to work on her endurance after using her powers. But as a team, they can unstoppable.

Enjoyment: 9/10 - There's a lot funny moments in the anime. (I.e.: Their teamwork on quests). This anime also reminds me of Hai To Gensou No Grimgar. While Konosuba is very funny during their quests, Hai To Gensou No Grimgar has more plot development and explores the backstories of some of the characters.

Overall: 8/10 - I definitely recommend it! It is definitely one of the animes that you MUST WATCH! It's filled comedic moments and senses of frustration at times that makes you want to cringe. In Konosuba, you get to know the characters and overtime, you get to see the dynamic when they work as a team while battling monsters and villains. You won't regret it. Plus, I can't wait for season 2.

So actually I started watching it because of a gif on facebook. I heard it is funny so I said why not? 
No it's not that funny. 
There's the main character who is not that bad character, but the others are just dissaponting. 
All of them is dumb, but not on a funny or cute way which could have been fun to watch... No, they are useless, and they even make the life of the main character worse. I find it very annoying, how all of the 3 main "heroine"s act.
(Keep in mind i dropped it after episode 4, but trust me, it was the most i could watch without boring myself to death, and eyerolling all the time)

A goddess who could heal? She did not. Lift curse? Did once but oh well, not really helpful. Greedy, dumb, narcistic, crybaby...

A mage who won't learn any other skill than explosion magic? Like it would be fine, but its the same skill again ang again, and she pass out after one use a day... That's sooo lame. At least she would try to train it, to use it more, or do it with less power or something so she would't pass out. She is quite dumb too, childish, and she use big words, with nothing behind them.

A Cross Knight who can't hit anything with her sword... A mazoist (i found it funny frist, but not after they played on that every damnn minute). She could learn how to hit.... not that hard. And she is not useful either, cuz she just wants to be hit, to feel the pain.

About the story.
I found it pretty boring. At frist he died. (which reminded me to my favorite anime Yu Yu Hakusho) And then the Godess laughed at his death ( I was like... Seriosly? I do not find death funny at all) And he choose Aqua (the godess) because she wanted him to be quicker in saying what he choose? I mean I wouldn't drag a brat with me to my new life. And after that they wanted to be adventurers to kill the bad bad Demon king who is killing the worlds human? Too much of a clishé. 

So after all:

Bad execusion, bad characters, not that bad music, bad storyline, and as much as wanted to watch someting fun, it wasn't one a bit. (I laghed like 3 time, 1 of them is from misery) 

Pros:

- Good animation.

- Funny

Cons:

- Exactly the same as literally every other "omg I woke up in a strange world" anime. Seriously this shit is getting old. Come up with new ideas for the love of fucking god.

- Harem bullshit.

- Fanservice involving underage characters.
