Rikka Ichinohe and Izuru Nikki are two childhood friends. Izuru always orders Rikka around, and Rikka always ends up going along with it. Their class is putting on a play for the school's cultural festival, and Rikka is hastily put into the role of a princess, and Izuru as the prince. When they perform the play, Izuru ends up kissing Rikka for real, even though they were only supposed to act it out.
