These two shows are very very similar!
And both are great so if you like high school romance anime, these two titles are for you ^^
When I watched Blue Spring Ride I got the same kind of feeling as when I watched Kimi ni Todoke. Both have likeable main characters and of course drama and romance. They both touch my heart and make me cry at times. I think if you liked one you will surely like the other.
yep they are very similar to each other. both drama are about friendships and love. great story line. great background drawing
Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for...

Ryuuji and Sawako, the two lead characters of each series, are fairly similar. Ryuuji, from Totadora!, terrifies classmates because of his eyes that look like they belong to a killer. Sawako, from Kimi ni Todoke, reminds her classmates of the girl from 'The Ring'. Both characters are far gentler than what their appearance causes others to think about them. At least early on in each series, other classmates tend to run from the lead character in terror, or at least try to avoid them. They both have a classmate of the opposite sex that treats them the same as everyone else, however.
These are both romances consisting of nearly pure character development. The protagonists of Toradora and the protagonist of Kimi ni Todoke initially are loners and the story begins by focusing on how meeting their eventual love interest awakens their social nature.
Although these are two completely different types of love stories, they are both centered around girls that have to slowly recognize their true feelings. Beyond that, they are two of the best love story/comedy/dramas around, and if you like one you are sure to like the other.
Impassive girl meets trouble maker in a brand new love story! After Mizutani Shizuku, a girl whose sole interest is studying, is asked to deliver some handouts to Yoshida Haru, a boy who hasn't come to school after spilling blood on the first day, she finds herself the target of his affection. This is a story about a boy and a girl who struggle with love and...

Light-hearted, sponteanous and innocent boy against quiet antisocial heroine. Kaibutsu-kun is kind of a delinquent compared to Kazehaya-kun. But They both are true to their hearts and awesomely honest.
While i was watching Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun it kept reminding me of kimi ni todoke. very simular elements. if you like one im sure you will like the other.
This is the first show that came to mind for me. Sawako and Haru are both characters who are outcasted and feared by their peers but want desperatly to make friends. All of the characters in both shows are as sweet as they are awkward, and often have trouble communicating. However, where as most of the misunderstandings in Tonari no Kaibutsu arise from their blunt, egocentric, overzealous all or nothing attitudes- the problems in Kimi ni Todoke stem from their insecurities and inability to openly state what they want. Essentially, these shows are both the same love story but with two couples who represent completely different approaches and understandings of life.
