Kill La Kill - Reviews

This is one of the few anime I would consider a must watch for anyone who considers himself a fan of the media, however I will stipulate this is definitely not one to start with. 

The actual story of Kill la Kill is pretty straight forward, Ryuuko's dad got killed and she wants to avenge her fathers death. Joins the school where she believes her fathers killer hangs out. What makes this series shine is the insane animation style, the over the top characters and the creative way that the show keeps 1 upping itself.

Ryuuko herself is a pretty calm girl but with the help of a living bloodsucking uniform she's able to compete with everything that's happening around her. Every 'villian' gets their super powers from their special uniforms, crafted by Satsuki who is painted as the main villian of the show.

Everything in the show is just over the top. From the crazy combat scenes to the skimpy outfits the characters are wearing.

Story itself starts slow and you feel it's all over the place but the futher you move into the show the more the puzzle blocks fall into place. 

I enjoyed it, I wanted to see more and eventhough the whole 'clothing' thing makes me chuckle it was actually pretty descently set up. 

I am in love with this anime. Amazing animation, lovable characters and great story. Some times it can get boring to watch, but it is totally worth it. Although I might say, i would have preferred that they didn't make a final ova because it felt like trying to extend an ended story. 

What can I say? Its trigger studios. 

Started this show years ago...and I stalled out. I don't know what it was. Maybe I was in an Anime hangover. But I am so glad I picked it back up. This story is nonsensical. But the animation and colors are splendid. The levity it brings is something sorely needed today when you just want to check out and laugh. I love it.

Kill la Kill hands down made its way into my group of favorite animes very easily and quickly. Although Ryuko isn't my favorite of characters in the show like she may be for some others the whole cast as a whole is outstanding! Kill la Kill has enough variety so that everyone could be able to watch and take a liking to it so I won't be going into detail for those who may not have seen it. I highly recommend it to any and everyone!
