They both have the back and forth romance that keeps you hoping something would happen the entire anime. They have a strong male lead and in both the girls have to struggle to get better at what they do. The action scenes are pretty good in both and it's easy to get lost in either one.

Both of these are short, one season animes with strong, and aggressive, lead females. They're both comedic, and while Kaze no Stigma defintely has a darker flavor to it, if you like one you'll most certainly like the other.

Both anime feature a protagonist who have been mistreated or thrown away by their own family due to the fact that their inherent powers do not meet their family's standards.  After overcoming these barriers, we arrive in the current storyline of the anime where the protagonists are seen as underdogs by many, but quickly prove that they are in fact the very opposite and possess strength that rivals that of the strongest members of the family that threw them away.

Fantasy world. There is little love and possesiveness in Kaze, but that is more present in SoreSekai. Feeling grow within characters while things get crazy around them. Only by making a great team they manage to set thing right.

Both of these anime feature protagonists with certain elemental powers, some warped family relations, and plenty of action scenes. With one of the male leads being a sort of outcast, and the rest all seeking something from the world, the anime are pretty similar. If you liked one, give the other a shot.
