Both series are a kind of blend between random humor and down-to-earth stuff (with Kare Kano being the more serious one).  Stylistically, they both do the manga-as-anime thing, where the anime is presented like a manga, complete with text and sound effects. Theme-wise, they're pretty similar as well, a romcom between two unexpected characters and how they change and move forward.

Both are shojo fare that follow a sweet, geniunely good girl who is paired up with a grumpy, self centered boy. Through their adventures they become closer and fall in love. Both have fantasy settings, Kamisama with Yokai and WSB with a mideval kingdom. The side cast are also all very lovable, and even the "villians" are allowed to be redeemed. Both shows have good humor and will make you feel good after watching them.

Both of these animes have a good background look into Japanese mythology.  As well as posessing the comedic personalities of the characters.  The storyline of the animes may differ but they both function within the same parameters of mythology, fantasy, master-servant relationship and that slice of life high school setting.

Both these sites deal with school-age girls getting swept into a supernatural adventure. Both have dashing boys with troubled pasts who teach, rescue, and skirt the edges of romance. They also have a comedic tone.

Both animes are about a girl who get into some pretty important positions. The main characters both get into trouble at times, and require saving. There are also scenes about some "difficult love" between the main characters and their crush.

They are both supernatural/mythology themed reverse harems with beautiful animation. The tones of both anime are slightly different, Kamisama is more comedy driven and Kamigami is slightly more serious (but definitely not boring). Both anime have strong female leads who can hold their own. Also, both anime deal with human gods. In Kamisama, a human girl is given divine powers and in Kamigami the gods' divine powers are limited as they live in human bodies.

With the added risqué brought on by the arrival of this new number one contender, Haruo's struggle becomes even more desperate, and his hidden powers begin to awaken.

This anime is full of funny hijinx and blatent sexual innuendos that will have you laughing until you cry. Add in a little magic, hot girls, and boarderline incest, and you have Magikano. And no, the sister and brother don't get together, you perv! LOL. Just like Kamisama Kiss, this involves school life and love. Sure, it's got a dense male protagonist, but still, he's around hot sisters that run around half naked all the time, so you can't blame the guy for not noticing other hot girls. (Seriously, who shows their brother new underware and offers to wear it for him?!)

Homosexual jokes aside, the magic and character growths are great, just like in Kamisama Kiss. Please note, that this OVA actually takes place before the main season of the show, so you may want to watch it first. Magic and school, what could go wrong? Oh, wait. The protagonists personality is kind of alike, and it’s is also a romance. Both animes have their characters solve their past experiences and the secrets they keep.
