These anime series have a heavy focus on Japanese spirits and youkai, as well as the human beings who interact with them. If you enjoyed one show, I suggest giving the other a try and seeing if it's up your alley.
In Kyoto, youkai have adapted to an urbanized lifestyle, and are often indistinguishable from humans. Among them is Yasaburo, a brash young tanuki who wants nothing more than to live an exciting life with his family: a mother obsessed with Takarazuka theater, a frog stuck in the bottom of a well, a kid brother who works at the brandy factory, and an older brother who’s just trying to hold them all together. But two things stand in the way of Yasuburo’s dreams: the tanuki community has shunned the boy’s eccentric family since his esteemed father died, and the ever-present threat of being cooked and consumed by humans! Can the young tanuki manage to have fun without besmirching his father's legacy or meeting an untimely death by hot pot?

She tells Ellias the history of how she first came to own the book; of her neglected childhood and a magical library hidden in the forest that once gave her relief from her unhappiness.

Both shows are a slice of life. While the stories are different. They feel very similar in how they tell a story and show romance blooming.
There is a certain restaurant in the first basement level of a multi-tenant building in one corner of a shopping street near the office district. The historical 70-year-old restaurant, marked by a sign with a picture of a cat, is called "Western Cuisine Nekoya." This restaurant looks completely normal through the week, but on Saturdays, it opens in secret exclusively to some very unique guests. During these hours, doors in various areas of a parallel world open to allow customers of many different races and cultures into the restaurant.

it’s very similar to kakuriyo bed an breakfast for spirits but less cooking an more hanging out. The second season is not as good as the first but it is still good.

If you like Kakuriyo or Fruits Basket, you would like the other because both anime features a lead female who is just an ordinary human who becomes involved with supernatural/fantasy characters. They both have a "light-feel" persona and the need of helping one another out in some form.
Konohana Kitan is the heartwarming story of a new apprentice named Yuzu, and the other fox girls who work at a hot spring hotel called Konohatei. The staff at Konohatei live by one belief: no matter who one may truly be, no matter what, anyone who is a guest is a god. Of course, that includes you. Let the hospitality of Yuzu and the Konohatei heal your tired soul.
These anime have similar storylines, strong female characters, a great collection of side characters with good character building, animation style & design.
Both are about a girl who works at a Bed&Breakfast/Hotel and feels they have something to prove and learns a lot about themselves & their coworkers/friends along the way.
Highly recommend Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits if you like this anime! I watched Kakuriyo first and find this anime to be adorable and charming.
Nanami the Land God is back with the handsome fox familiar Tomoe at her side! After a rough start as a newly ordained god, she’s finally finding her land legs in the world of gods, demons, and spirits. However, not everything is going magically well. Nanami’s feelings for Tomoe are growing stronger, but Tomoe goes from hot to cold faster than a weather god! And he’s not the only moody demon. The flowers in Kurama’s mountain home are dying, and the person behind the wilting wildlife is none other than his brother Jirou!

Both involve being launched into an unfamiliar situation with spirits and very light-handed relationships. Both series were enjoyable!
Holmes, a young man whose family runs an antique shop in Kyoto, has the unique ability to read people and instantly distinguish genuine and high value antiques. When a local high school student, Aoi Maki, starts working alongside Holmes, together they begin to unravel the many mysteries surrounding the antiques brought to the shop.
Both Kakuriyo and Holmes of Kyoto are charming slice of life animes whith a dash of romance thrown in. When watching, the vibe and emotions are quite similar.
