Spoiler alert (For the series and the movie):Its a pretty sad movie. (Or I just don't want to admid that I cry fast. I don't know) The movie is about one of the characters we don't see much in the series, because hes death. His death leads to most of the problems in season 1. (Also, Why on the birthday of a kid?????? Couldn't he wait a day longer?) But yeah. Its a great movie. You should watch it for sure!
As this is a prequel film, spoiler warning for those who have not seen K Project. This film is a welcome addition to the K franchise, filling in the background story of Totsuka Tatara which sets the stage for the events of K. This story is something that I sorely missed from the original- as you come into it after Totsuka is already gone and are kinda left wondering who this guy was. The film does a great job fleshing out his character, and it's easy to see why he was so loved. Even as I knew how it would end, the journey of getting there was interesting, and the story is much more touching and tragic than in the original when you have no idea who this dude was. I really enjoyed the music for this installment, and the animation is lovely to look at as usual. Overall, I definitely recommend this film for fans of K Project.
